Hallo Mewsler,seit dem 24.02.2025 haben wir ein Problem mit der Schnittstelle Mews Connector zu Messerschmitt. Wenn ein Gast über den Mews Kiosk eincheckt und eine Zimmerkarte erstellt, wird die Zimmernummer nicht angezeigt. Der Kartenerstellungsprozess wird in Mews als „in Arbeit“ angezeigt, und anschließend erscheint eine Fehlermeldung.Ablauf des Problems:Der Gast checkt über den Mews Kiosk ein. Die Zimmerkarte wird erstellt und ausgegeben. Im Mews Kiosk bleibt der Status „Kartenerstellungsprozess in Arbeit“. Liebe Community,gibt es eine Möglichkeit, den Online Check einer Ratengruppe für ungarantierte Anreisen ab einer bestimmten Uhrzeit zu verpflichten, sodass der Gast von ungarantiert auf garantiert switchen kann? Danke für eine Antwort,beste Grüße Kerstin

Fausses réservations et comment vous gérer cela

Bonjour,J’était curieux de savoir comment d’autres hôtels géraient les fausses réservations. Quand je parle de fausses réservations, ce sont les gens qui réservent pour 1-2-3 semaines, souvent venant des mêmes pays en particulier. Souvent fait sur booking.com, ils prennent l’option de la carte virtuelle, ce qui fait que nous ne pouvons pas déclarer la carte de crédit invalide, et annule leur réservation 1 semaine avant. Ce qui nous fait perdre la chance de louer la chambre en question et ne nous donne pas beaucoup de temps de la relouer. Souvent, ces gens font ces réservations pour des demandes de visa ou autre. Sur Hotello, nous annulions directement la réservation sur hotello même si active sur booking sachant bien qu’ils ne viennent jamais et nous donne la chance de louer la chambre. Sur Mews, lorsque nous annulons cette réservation, qui peut être plusieurs mois avant la date d’arrivé du client, lorsque le client annule sur booking.com, 2 jours avant ou 1 semaine avant, l’inventaire

Automatic charging of virtual credit cards for prepaid reservations

Hello!We can charge virtual cards from Expedia for prepaid/nonrefundable reservations starting immediately after the booking has been created.we have set up payment policy for automatic charging accordingly. Until approx. 20.8.2024 that worked perfectly well, the virtual cards have been charged automatically. We did not change anything since than and now payments are automatically scheduled for the day of checkin instead of right away. According to mews help that is the case when the channel manager (in our case D-Edge) does not send CC activation date information. D-Edge says they never did… do I guess Mews changed the behavior sometime in August 2024. ​@Mews Community Team  can you verify that?what can we do to resume automatic charging of VCC at the time of reservation creation?is anyone else observing this change? How do you cope? It would be a pity if we had to manually charge those cards again..best regards,jp.

Servus zusammen, habt ihr denn bei Euch im Betrieb auch eine Cyberversicherung? Ich denke in der heutigen Zeit sehr wichtig und sinnvoll. Wir haben diese schon seit einigen Jahren. Bei der Durchsicht unserer Policen mit der Vers. Agentur ist uns bei den Versicherungsbedingungen aufgefallen, dass hier Backups gefordert werden. Mindestens wöchentlich mit einer Aufbewahrungsdauer von zwei Wochen. Wie habt ihr das gelöst? Für mich war das nie ein Thema, weil MEWS ja komplett in der Cloud ist und nicht auf den Rechnern… Freue mich über Rückmeldungen und wünsche einen schönen, sonnigen Tag! Liebe Grüße! Emmi

Liebe DACH Community,Wir sind auf der Suche nach wertvollen Inputs von anderen Häusern, die nach wie vor viele Reservierungen per Telefon und Email bekommen, mit Payment Automatisierung arbeiten und diese erfolgreich ohne Zusatztools wie Korrespondenzmanager / Re:Guest die Reservierungen abwickeln.Wir haben mit viel Mühe im Onboarding letzten Monat alle Templates und Payment Automatisierungen aufgesetzt, nur um zu sehen, dass die Verlinkung immer - egal an welchem Touchpoint - einfach kommentarlos ins Guest Portal führt. Die Guest Journey macht hier für uns und für die Gäste wenig Sinn.Use Case: Angebote / OptionenWir schicken ein Angebot oder eine Option. Die Templates unterscheiden sich textlich nicht, obwohl bei einem ja eine Verfügbarkeit geblockt wird. Der Gast kommt mit Klick auf den Button ins Guest Portal und kann ohne Angabe der Kreditkarte die Reservierung bestätigen. Wir bekommen die Annahme des Angebots / der Option nicht mal mit, da keine Benachrichtigung entsteht.Use Case
