How do you handle this for groups that are billed in full by company? As soon as a room is picked up via the link, the guest always has to enter a credit card. Can this be deactivated?

You can deactivate it in the settings of your booking engine.

Hmm I wonder if Linus has understood your question correctly as I interpret it a bit differntly? Has your question been answered with the above?? If so, then Linus, I would be curious if you could explain in more detail, as personally I do not really understand what you mean by creating 2 booking engines? Or is there a link that explains this? From our experience, guests always have to enter their credit cards as seems to be set by Mews as per default. Albeit in the onlline check-in process. So, Jasmin, did you mean that or something else?? Best, Sandra
Your question makes perfectly sense!
In Mews you have the option to create multiple Booking Engines. So the one you use for groups where no CC is needed as everything is billed to the company can be different from the one you use for other guests.
You can find an overview of your BE’s in Mews under Services > Stay services > Booking engines.
Here you can set-up multiple Booking Engines and thus create different ones for group bookings where no CC is needed or for tracking purposes (ie. Google Hotel Search).

I have selected a rate including breakfast in the block. However, the products are missing in the reservation. Would someone from Mews please contact me again?

So it still seems to me to be a useless tool, as it creates extra work. Why does it need a copy of a rate to create a block?
It's much easier for us to work with our IBE in this case (not from Mews).

Hi Jasmin,
I saw that Sanne already mentioned that when creating a block you also create a copy of the original rate (in order to be able to use the same rate for multiple blocks, but set unique prices etc.).
Unfortunately the product rules does not follow through to this new copy.
What we found though is that If you adjust the product rule to be applied to a Rate Group instead of a rate the breakfast will be added aslo for block reservations, since rate group is kept the same.
