Does anyone know if Mews is planning a feature where you get an error message or notification if the mail transfer was not successful? It is not possible to check every send status after a confirmation or invoice. Also, many mails from mews seem to end up in the spam folder.

I haven't heard anything about this, and personally, we haven't experienced that too many emails fail to reach our guests. When they do fail (often due to incorrectly spelled addresses), the guests have been quick to reach out.

Have you set up custom sender addresses in Mews, or are your emails sent from the default Mews address?
Adding your property domain as sender addresse might help reduce the chances of your emails ending up in the spam folder.

hi ​@Jasmin H. you can vote on that… create task when e-mail bounce – Welcome to the Product Ideas Forum. we are also seeing sometimes that our users are being blocked - nobody really knows why, but there is also no indication whatsoever when this occurs.. so still work to be done there to show that better.

 

(NB as you cán see it in the mail queue - we have properties in our chain that run a weekly ‘dropped’ report just to check if there is anything off)
