Not sure I could free any time for the video call but droping some point of high interest to us here:
=> Would it be possible to add a column or a filter to display either the travel agency reference or the purchase order number related to each invoice?
Â
Indeed a lot of our partners pay and put in communication their own (reservation)reference in the listing instead of the invoice reference.
Â
It would be of a great use
Â
Thanks for your time

Hi @Joanna KozlowskaÂ
Â
we do use an external system to track unpaid invoices. All invoices are sent to our ERP via API. Is it planned to see also the paidinvoices from ERP? Meaning when they are not managed within Mews?

Hi Stephane,
Many thanks for sharing this feedback.
Could you tell us more about:
How this information is currently entered in Mews? Is it already stored as Purchase Order Number on invoices or other related field?
How do you plan to use this information when managing invoices from the City ledger? Is it to easier find the related invoice to process the payment form? Is it shared by the partners as a part of remittance information?
Â
Thank you!

Hi Linus,
This isn’t currently planned — our key focus is to enable effective invoice tracking and settlement within Mews.
I’d love to better understand your reasons for tracking invoices externally. From our past call, I gathered that your ERP system effectively matches payments to invoices. If Mews could offer a similar capability, would that be enough for you to switch to using Mews for this? Or are there additional benefits your ERP provides that are critical for you?
Best,
Joanna

Understand this still in Beta version, will in future this CL report have the ability for sorting fuction, such date, status dan due date?. I also did not see the row which shows when the invoiced issued?.
What happen if a partially payment initiated, let say 50:50, can we submit the payment twice for the same invoice till balance 0?.
Thanks and best regards, Ringga

Hi Ringga,
This feature is now released, but we will be furtherly evolving it. Sorting is next on the list!
It is currently possible to issue partial payments towards the invoice. For example if invoice is for 100 and you apply the payment for 80, we will update the remaining balance to 20. You can then apply another payment towards the invoice, until the balance comes to zero.
Â
Could you tell us more why the invoice issue date would be important to show in the ledger?
Thank you for your feedback!

Hi @Joanna KozlowskaÂ
Â
The information is stored in the reservation itself under the property tab of it, either under the PO tab
or under the travel agency reference tab
Our partners use them indeed as part or remittance/payment information and do not refer at all to the invoice number generated by Mews
Â
Thas is why it would help to be able to see those information next to each other
Â
Hope it is clearer nowÂ

Hi @Joanna Kozlowska ,
for further development: We would prefer to see the notes in a column so that you don't always have to go to the invoice to read the notes. It helps the overview
Thank you

Â
Hi Leif,
We hear that request a lot!Â
To clarify: would you like to see in the City ledger the same Notes as are currently present in the Invoice view, with the option to Edit, or would you need a separate Notes field?
Â
Thank you,
Â
Joanna
Â
Hi @Joanna Kozlowska ,
a note field that does not appear on the invoice would be best. Simply for comments on the internal process. e.g: Customer on holiday for 2 weeks, payment will be made afterwards etc.
Â
Best regards
Leif
@Joanna Kozlowska great to see this new option in MEWS!Â
Are there any plans to make this available as well via MPM? The same overview would work including the building names and link to open the locations to action them from there.Â
Thanks, FemkeÂ
