Duetto X MEWS

Guten Morgen, gibt es hier in der Community jemanden der Duetto in Kombi mit MEWS erfolgreich verwendet? Gibt es Tools die mit MEWS nicht funktionieren? (oft stellt sich das ja erst nach Integration raus)Hauptsächlich geht es mir um die Automatisierung. Das Restriktionen setzten. Und um die Möglichkeit in Duetto Raten mit verschiedenen Abschlägen einzustellen über eine Restriktion (z.B. die Frühbucherrate). Kann MEWS das einwandfrei umsetzten? Über einen Austausch hierzu würde ich mich freuen.Vielen Dank und liebe GrüßeNina

Why are rooms that are dirty automatically changing to clean

For the last couple mornings my head housekeeper has noticed that all stays are automatically being changed to clean, but they should be dirty so she has to manually change them to dirty? does anyone have a fix for this ?

Hello everyone,we have six rooms with connecting doors, i.e. six rooms individually or three family rooms with open doors.Does anyone have such a setup and can help me?My questions are:can the availability be set so that six rooms are bookable and as soon as one is sold as a family room, two rooms fall out of availability? Hallo zusammen,wir planen auf eine neue Segmentierung umzustellen und ich wollte fragen, ob schon jemand damit Erfahrungen gemacht hat.Folgender Punkt:die bestehenden Segmente kann ich nicht ausblenden, nur löschen - was passiert mit den Historybuchungen, wenn die angelegten Segmente gelöscht werden? Promo Voucher Not working

Hello, Does anyone know how to get a voucher working. I ahve three properties and have set the voucher up exactly the same on all 3 sites, but one site just won’t work.I have followed all the steps, set up the rate, created the voucher etc, but one site just won’t show the rate online when I put in the promo code.The rate can be booked internally - it just doesn’t show online

Moin zusammen,ich bin auf der Suche nach einem Bericht, der mir das Verhältnis der wiederkehrenden Gäste zur Belegung zeigt.Ich möchte dabei die Anzahl RN in einem Zeitraum im Verhältnis zur Gesamtbelegung. Hintergrund: Wir wollen herausfinden, in wie weit ein Goodie-Programm für Wiederkehrer sinnvoll ist.Was ich finde, sind Zahlen zu den Personen über die Gästestatistik, übrigens auch, wenn ich dort Nächte (!?) filtere,oder über den Reservierungsbericht die einzelnen Reservierungen, allerdings müsste man die manuell zählen und müsste zudem über die Aufenthaltsdauer die RN dazu ausrechnen. Das kann es nicht sein, aber ich werde nicht fündig.Hat jemand eine Idee? Viele GrüßeLeif

Availability Block Reservation Confirmation

I just received an email from a bride saying that she is the only one receiving reservation confirmations--if her guests book online through the availability block link, they don’t get their own confirmation. Has anyone else had this issue or know how to fix it? Thanks!

Stornobedingungen

Hallo zusammen,weiß jemand, ob es Änderungen in der Zuweisung von Stornobedingungen geben soll?Ich verstehe nicht, warum man die Stornofristen nicht unabhängig von einer Rate hinterlegen kann.@Mews gibt es nicht die Möglichkeit die Restriktionen als zusätzliches Reservierungsfeld einzubauen?Als Messehotel ist es echt anstrengend mit über 20 Raten arbeiten zu müssen, aufgrund verschiedener Stornofristen.Vielleicht hat ja jemand einen Anwendertipp? Danke und viele Grüße

Add COMPANY NAME in the Booking Engine

Would it be possible to add an optional company name field in the booking process?During the week we have a lot of business guests and they need an invoice in the name of the company. There are many reasons why this makes sense: It helps us already before check-in to see who's coming or identify several reservations by guests from the same company or a booking from a new guest from a “returning” company or you can reduce the number of change requests because of wrong billing address etc…..It’s useful and necessary in every way and the OTA’s send this information as well.This couldn't be too big of a deal, or?Thanks,Max

Kassenbuch

Hallo zusammen, wir sind von HS3 auf MEWS umgestiegen. In HS3 haben wir das Kassenbuch genutzt. Wir haben also viele Gastauslagen bar aus der Kasse genommen und die Belege darüber gebucht, kleinere Anschaffung fürs Hotel haben wir bar aus der Kasse bezahlt und alles über das Kassenbuch in HS3 abgerechnet. Auch das Bargeld, das zur Bank gebracht wurde, haben wir über das Hotelprogramm verbucht. Leider wissen wir nicht wie wir das jetzt über MEWS machen sollen? Kann uns jemand helfen? Wie sind ein kleineres Hotel und nicht bereit noch Geld für ein externes Kassenbuch auszugeben.Liebe Grüße aus dem Altmühltal Lilly

How to differentiate checkout vs stays when assigning rooms

When my head housekeeper is assigning rooms to the housekeeping team for cleaning she has to assign rooms for both checkouts and stays, checkouts take a lot more time then stays so she try’s to give the staff an equal amount of both but in the system there is no way to differentiate these so she has to do a manual process of figuring it out as there is not housekeeping report that can help with this either

Comptabilité débalancée! Adéquation Payout et cartes

Je suis à la fin de mon année financière et mon comptable me chicane.  Je suis incapable de balancer mes dépots en circulation correctement, ni de balancer mes visa, mastercard et interac.Est-ce que les autres membres utilisant l’exportation, exporte une écriture globale avec un montant total global du TPV journalier, ou est-ce que tout est divisé comme moi, Visa, mastercard et Interac?  Je suis complètement débalancé et je ne sais plus comment reconcilier mon écriture Payout, avec mes écritures VISA, MC, INTERAC.  Ma méthode doit peut-être changer?En plus, on doit prendre pour acquis que MEWS nous dépose toujours le bon montant.  Je ne sais pas de votre côté, mais il y avait parfois des erreurs avec payfacto et Global.  Là, je concilie aveuglement.  Je trouve que c’est un cas de “if you can’t convince, confuse!” lol!  Parce que je ne peux jamais savoir si ma journée X, correspond avec mon dépôt Y.  Suis-je seul?

Hi, how do I get the notes made on an invoice in the restaurant to also show on the final bill? Thanks

As the header reads. We make notes on the guest invoice in the restaurant but the notes don’t show on the final bill. Usually the notes are ref.numbers or group names. Essesntial for the billing department and also the customer. Help, please.

Managing apartments in different locations

Hello mewsters!I have been struggling with for a long time: what would be the best way to manage apartments that are located in different addresses than our hoste/hotel? We currently have two separate mews “profiles” but it doesn’t seem to help. One of the problems is to send individual confirmation emails/arrival instructions. I know there is lot of PMS’s systems that can do this easily, but is there a way to do this with MEWS?Thanks for sharing your best practices and tips!

Hallo liebe Mews Community,wir stehen regelmäßig vor einer zeitaufwendigen Herausforderung mit unserer Kurtaxe. Diese wird über die Kurverwaltung durch AVS verwaltet und abgerechnet. Aktuell ist unser Workflow so, dass wir die Kurtaxe manuell einen Tag vor Anreise im Rahmen unserer finalen Anreisekontrolle in Mews für jede Buchung buchen.Trotz sorgfältiger, mehrfacher Kontrollen kommt es leider immer wieder zu Diskrepanzen zwischen unseren Kurtaxe-Einnahmen in Mews und der monatlichen Abrechnung in AVS. Um die Fehler zu finden, müssen wir derzeit mühsam jede einzelne Kurtaxennummer in AVS mit der entsprechenden Rechnungsnummer in Mews abgleichen. Bei 81 Zimmern und aktuell rund 2000 Roomnights pro Monat bindet diese Kontrolle fast zwei volle Arbeitstage eines Mitarbeiters – eine enorme Belastung! Und der Sommer kommt erst noch...Daher unsere dringende Frage: Hat jemand eine Idee, wie wir diesen Prozess optimieren können? Gibt es vielleicht eine Mews-Integration oder eine andere Schnitt

Hallo Zusammen, hat jemand Erfahrungen mit dem Aktivieren dieser Funktion (Also dem als bezahlt gegenbuchen von Rechnungen) trotz Datev Schnittstelle via Omniboost? Es wird ja an einigen Stellen davor “gewarnt” die Funktion bei angebundener Schnittstelle zu aktivieren. Was ändert sich dadurch für unser Steuerbüro? Und ich habe es munkeln gehört, dass MEWS eine eigene Datev Schnittstelle bastelt, weiß da jmd. etwas genaues? Danke euch! Viele GrüßeChristian

2 night min restrictions "Sandwich days"

Hello fellow Mews users,I'm currently facing a challenge with managing "sandwich days" in our booking setup. We typically require a minimum three-night stay for arrivals on Thursdays, Fridays, or Saturdays. However, when a guest books from Tuesday to Friday and there's another arrival scheduled for Sunday, this blocks potential guests from booking a Friday and Saturday stay.I'd like to enable two-night bookings starting on a Friday in such cases. Could anyone advise on the best way to create a manual restriction in Mews to allow this?Additionally, how does your team handle these types of sandwich days? At the moment, I'm manually scanning the timeline for the entire year to identify and adjust them, which is quite time-consuming.Any tips or best practices would be greatly appreciated!

Zapier Updated field returns all bookings

Hello, we run a nature resort at visitlaagen.no. We have integrated with Zapier to give a better experience using automated SMS giving people all the info about their stay, including the code to the lock box of their exact unit on the day of arrival. It’s working like a charm.However, after having integrated with Booking.com, we got ourselves a problem. Having flexible tickets at Booking.com means that customers are free to rebook their stay at another date. This completely messes up the Zapier integration. There is a Zapier field called “Updated” which is supposed to provide info about the altered bookings. This field would probably help, because we could then listen to that field when it returns an updated booking and change it accordingly, However, the “Updated” field seems to return all the available bookings instead, making it impossible for us to discern the updated ones. Any ideas on how to fix this?Best,Jan
