Mews Business Intelligence (BI)

Is there a place where I can Issue such report?Something like a PDF or a dashboard where it can display all the ones with the 🛇 sign.Usually during wintertime we have the most problematic guests and I want to issue a full report for my manager and manually is taking forever.Thanks in advance.

Dear Community,As you may be aware, if a client is delayed and arrives the day after their original arrival date, the new arrival date is reflected in the reservations report. Hallo zusammen,wir nutzen den ‘Gäste im Haus’ Report immer für die Frühstücksliste.Und nun ist uns aufgefallen, dass dieser, trotz Auswahl ‘alle Produkte’, nicht alle Frühstücke anzeigt.Ging es ggf. euch auch schon so? Dear MEWS Community, We are new using MEWS, and we would like to give you our thoughts on the subject of reports. We have already discussed this issue with our contact person at MEWS, and apparently the reports we want to / can pull are a bit limited. So I am happy to share our feedback here and open an conversation, in order to see if someone of you have had the same “issue”.  We would need the following data (based on reports) to work in the following topics: - Revenue Conversion --> General and individually (per person)- Lead Conversion --> General and individually (per person)- Lead per hour --> General and individually (per person)- Group Booking Pace --> Group Forecast- No TDN (Turndown) analysis possible --> We can only create the Cancellation Report. At this stage, this is not possible to get this extraction from MEWS. Therefore we need the following data to be able to draw the

Hi everyone,the shutdone of mews for nearly 5 hours on 17th November was a big struggle for me and my team. Mews recommends to schedule daily reports to be prepared for a shutdown. In my opinion it is helpful to have this, but we need it in PDF format. I already asked for it 3 years ago when we started with mews, but till now it is not possible. The excel reports are very confusing. Please vote for it if you would like to have the scheduled daily reports in PDF format. Thanks in advance! Best regards, Julia

Mews is not allowing me to schedule this export- it resets the configuration and asks for an interval. Is it the size of the export? Mews doesn’t provide any report that shows market segmentation, by day, so the only way for us to create a segment level report is using the reservation level details.  

Hi everyone!It’s my first month at Mews and I am getting crazy to prepare the end of the month reports. I am very surprised how difficult is to pull out basic KPIs such as occupancy %, revenue and room nights per channel/segment for a closed month. I still don’t understand why the reservations by source report doesn’t count the manual reservations.I have checked Mews University and the discrepancies between the manager report and the reservations report… too much work that could be easily solved with a simple dashboard. Plus you need to run month by month if you wanna see how the pace is performing for the future. Personally I expected much more from Mews regarding KPIs. It’s definitely not at the same level of the rest of the platform. Just start with the basics!I would appreciate some guidance to make the reporting process easier. Thanks!

Hi all, Is there anyone that really uses the Mews Analytics here?In my opinion it’s way to slow. Most of the time you have to made about 10min before all data is loaded.If you change one of the filters or want to dive deeper, it takes ages again to load… It's so bad, you often just get errors that data cannot be loaded due to a timeout. Who has time to wait so long if you just want to look something up quickly? Anyone here that has a different experience and is actually able to use this feature properly?

Hi, i need you help. In my Trial Balance report, i have an amount posted under account category Other.How can i find out what is posted here ? 

What report can i create in Mews that will give me an overview of No Shows like this ?  

Basically I have an Employee X who created a Customer Profile at a certain date. Then changes to that profile has been done over a certain period of time. Then this profile was deleted from Mews, meaning that the customer profile does not exist, it was merged with another profile or deleted altogether.I want to find out that happened to that delete customer profile and what are the actions that were done by that employee on that profile. Knowing that the customer profile doesn’t exist anymore, I cannot go to the action log of that profile, neither do I have an action log for the employee X to know what that employee did. Action Log and Activity Report do not provide that information.Help.

Hi !Our breakfast team is old fashioned and wants a printed list-paperversion of guests/rooms with and without breakfast. They do not want to work on a ipad/digital device. (because the risk of theft and messy fingers that can not be used on i digital device...) How do i find a list like this?Kindly advice!Thanks 

Dear Mews-users, The guests in house report has had an overhaul.Whilst it is still possible to consult the old lay-out, I notice it is no longer correct.The function I am missing in the new Guests in House report is two-fold.Most importantly: the lack of the option to print it.Less importantly: no totals of guests in house any longer.As to the last item, that is not a drama to me (although a step back from what it used to be).The lack of option to print is a major difficulty though.Any tips/hints on this?Thank you.

Hello Mews Community! I am wondering if anyone knows how to manipulate the fields of the guest in house report to sort by date first? More specifically, the “Ordering” option. It seems crazy to me that this is not an option for filtering already. Has anyone else had this question? 

Is there a recommended process for back-ups of Mews reservations in case of a Mews system outage? How do you know who has a reservation with you tonight?We scheduled a daily reservation report sent to an Email.Does anybody have a better solution for this?Thx Max

Is anyone utilising a provider who can provide dashboard reporting that is easily accessible on mobile.We’re looking at Power BI however it appears we’ve a significant amount of work ahead to create a fairly simple solution using the API connecting to MEWS/Bizzon.ThanksD

How can I download the deposit report for future reservations?I would like to check all the bank transfers I have entered in each booking of July and August 2024
