Gibt es die Möglichkeiten Restriktionen zu automatisieren?Wie z.B. automatische Schließung einer Rate entsprechend der Releasezeit.  

Dear MEWS Team & Community,I hope you're doing well. We are contacting you regarding a refund receipt that was generated in our system—though it's not actually a refund in the conventional sense. A few months ago, we completed a wire transfer and closed the transaction with a deposit. Our accounting team has since informed us that this approach was incorrect. In trying to correct the entry, we mistakenly issued a full rebate of that specific bill and deleted the related negative deposit from items. As a result, we now have a Fiscal receipt that doesn't accurately reflect what occurred. We need to nullify this receipt and reissue a new one that properly documents the adjustment—essentially showing that we refunded the overpaid amount (even though it wasn't a real refund) to reconcile the balance on the bot. Could you please advise us on how to proceed? Hallo, kann mir jemand helfen und mitteilen, wie ich in Mews einstellen kann, dass Zimmer am gleichen Tag noch bis 12 Uhr online buchbar sind. Ich möchte kein Zapier oder so nutzen, es muss doch in Mews so einstellbar sein… Oder? GrußTorsten 

Hi, our guests often need their invoices issued in name of their company so it would be great if the guest could mention the company name and adress by online check-in. This way we can spare the guests from waiting by check-out because all needed datas are already filled. On weekdays with many guests checking out at the same time it is very irritating for these waiting in line just because we have to fill out the missing datas before we can issue the bill.Generally it would be helpful to print the registration form with the possibility to mention the company.

As soon as we have more than 1 room within the group, the check-in does not work. The guest fills in the form and the data cannot be submitted. This is very tedious and unprofessional, as everything has to be done twice. Is there a solution?We are in employee mode on a tablet.

Hallo zusammen, für einen Kunden konfigurieren wir aktuell die Stornierungsbedingungen. Bei Gruppenbuchungen werden 3 Stornierungszeiträume eingetragen.Bei der Benamung der Stornierungsrichlinie bin ich mir unsicher, ob diese nachher ersichtlich ist auf der Gastrechnung oder die Benamung nur für internes dient.Vielen Dank! Hello everyone, we are currently configuring the cancellation policy for a customer. Hallo,weiß jemand von Euch, ob man eine geschlossene Rechnung hinsichtlich des Preises korrigieren kann?Nach Zusendung einer Rechnung haben wir 3 Tage später erst gemerkt, dass wir anstatt Übernachtung ohne Frühstück für 102,- €, Übernachtung mit Frühstück für 102,-€ abgerechnet haben. Zwar kann ich das Frühstück nachträglich, mit einer neu geöffneten Rechnung, rausstornieren, jedoch kann ich den Übernachtungspreis nicht nach oben korrigieren. kann man dies grundsätzlich nicht oder was muss ich da etwas beachten?Vielen Dank  Voraus!simone Strasser-Bumb

We’ve just started using Salto and the Mews Salto Integration and it works fine so far but there are two big questions for us:When the keys are programmed, the authorization automatically expires based on the departure time. Is there a way to adjust this? If we adjust the departure time in the service options, this time is automatically displayed, for example, in the guest portal. However, we want the time to be communicated, for example, departure at 7:00 p.m., but the keys are valid for a little longer, until 7:15 p.m. Same for earlier.   Currently, if you program a key for a room, it deactivates all the others. For example, a guest arrives and you program two keys. Later, they come back and want another one (e.g., for a child, or someone else coming into the room a day later). If I then program an additional key, all the others become invalid. That makes sense in principle, but it would be useful to be able to choose whether to program additional keys o

Es wurden Zimmer in einer Gruppe zusammengefügt, die nicht zusammen gehören. Wie kann ich die Reservierung trennen, ohne diese zu stornieren?

Hi everyone,I need to regularly submit accommodation data to Statbel, the Belgian statistics office. For this, I need to export a list from Mews that includes the following information: Country of origin Check-out date Purpose of stay (e.g., tourism, business, etc.) Number of nights Number of guests Number of occupied rooms Does anyone know how I can generate or customize a report in Mews that includes all these fields? Ideally, the list should be exportable as a CSV or Excel file so it can be uploaded easily to the Statbel platform.Any tips, templates, or step-by-step instructions would be greatly appreciated.Thanks in advance!Ellen

We recently started using Digital Key for Salto Space.Does anyone here know how a guest can get the Digital Key if they have not chosen it during online checkin?So for example, a guest has checked in online, but did not choose Digital Key. They then want to get a Digital Key later, how do they do this?Update: It seems to be that when a guest has also booked a promoted service during online checkin, in our case a parking spot, they are not offered a Digital Key for the room.

Hello, I'm still quite new to using Mews, but I’ve noticed that it doesn’t seem possible to mark just the first night of a multi-night reservation as a no-show.This has been a bit frustrating, as it requires quite a bit of manual work to manage such cases. Do you have any recommendations or best practices for handling this?It might be something for the Mews team to consider improving in the future.  

Anyone have an easy answer on how to move a reservation in one space to another space.I have tried on Timeline and on Reservation screen. Keep getting error that space is unsuitable. Its not, its a 4 bedroom unit to a 4 bedroom unit .Maximum occupancy is same.The long way would be to cancel and rebook but not ideal. Thanks

Hi, I was just wondering is anyone had found a way around adding a product 1 by 1 for each night. Example: We charge a dog fee in our dog friendly rooms. we have to manually add a dog charge for each night individually.If a guest is staying for x2 weeks. We have to add the product x14 times...We would like an option to add one product and select how many nights it’s for.Any advice?

Bonjour,Côté facturation, les compagnies qui réservent pour leurs employés nous demandent parfois une facture avec le détail des tarifs journaliers. Sur les factures actuelles, nous voyons seulement le total du séjour condensé.La seule solution que j’ai trouvé pour voir le détail, c’est d’aller décocher l’option ‘’Facturer comme un package’’ dans les options du séjour. Ça fonctionne bien pour les compagnies qui ont seulement des frais de chambre. Par contre, en décochant cette option, on voit la ventilation de tous les produits forfait lorsque la personne est en forfait, même si ces produits sont activés en tant que package. Nous ne pouvons donc pas garder l’option de package inactive.Est-il possible d’avoir un type de facture avec la section ‘’Séjour’’ pour les tarifs journaliers ainsi que le total des produits forfaits condensés dans une section ‘’Produits du séjour’’, par exemple?
