Hi everyone 👋,Is anyone already using the new feature? 🧪There’s supposed to be a note on the payment report 💰 that shows the difference – but I can’t seem to find it there 🔍. it should be listed on the excel eport between AA-AM if you look on the sample screen on the training.Any hints or suggestions? 💡Thanks in advance! 🙏

Hi,We just started using digital keys with our Salto locks. It is awesome… We do however anticipate the Wallet Keys to be the real game changer.When it becomes available we will be leaning into it hard and pushing the the tech to our guests through our website, SM, email etc. and hopefully it will be the preffered way of unlocking our doors. Would it be possible to get some more info about what the requirements will be to make use of Apple/Google Wallet keys, and when it becomes available? The next months, this year, next year, 2027? Is the beta program already started? We would love to be a pilot.Thank you!

Hello community!Here’s the list of the top 5 big problems with Mews for a Hostel: Timeline ordered by typology of the rooms instead of room numbers, confusion with room assignement, difficulties to manage day to day operations floor by floor and much more Any bill (of past, present and future reservations) connected to guest profille, big confusion with payments and billing when you have a guest in front of you Space status for housekeeping with inappropriate and incomplete filters Automatic rebate in some important changes of the reservation Difficulties in using blocks due to wrong calculation of availability between dorms and bedsThen Italian properties encounters problems with police report, fiscal topics and much more, still a lot to improve to reach Italian market.A lot more still must be improved, it is suggested to hire more people who worked at reception.   

Hey,does somebody can give me a hint how two summarize the additional products in the booking confirmation email? I am using the new function of personalizatiion our emails.As I have seen there are only marge tags for the summarization of services and taxes.I would be very grateful for help.Best wishesClaudia

Hi everyone,I'm trying to find a way to view a report that shows the specific promo codes our guests have used.We can create unlimited promo codes linked to a single Voucher in Mews. However, the booking report that groups by voucher only displays the associated Voucher ID, not the individual promo code that was actually applied. This makes it really difficult for us to measure the effectiveness of our marketing campaigns.I've also tried extracting this data via the API (as we have access), but the booking reservation only includes the Voucher ID, not the unique promo code.Has anyone found a solution for this, or is there a report I'm missing? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hello everyone,we have six rooms with connecting doors, i.e. six rooms individually or three family rooms with open doors.Does anyone have such a setup and can help me?My questions are:can the availability be set so that six rooms are bookable and as soon as one is sold as a family room, two rooms fall out of availability? How do I do the pricing? A double room vs. 1 ½ room price for families?Thanks, with best regards 

Hello,Does anyone know how we can change the VAT rate for the "Day/Night" product in a Bookable Service?Currently, we have two bookable services: a "stay" service and a "meeting" service.Room accommodation should be taxed at 7% VAT, while meeting room rental should be taxed at 19% VAT.However, both are currently set to 7%, and I haven't been able to find where to change this. Any help would be appreciated.Thank you!

Is anyone else facing problems with sending before start/before start reminders to booking.com guest?We are pushing very hard to get our guest so check-in online, however I see that booking.com is not accually forwarding these emails to the guest. In MEWS it shows as sendt.  I have tried to make a booking myself at booking.com and it is not working. I tried to remove the Sigin box, in the email templets, with just a link however it is still not working. Funny thing is that when I send the bill it has acually worked.  Does anyone know how to fix this?

Hello dear Mews Community! We have changed our tax advisor. Until now, we worked with a physical folder, and 7 pages of the Mews accounting report were manually recorded. Now, we are transitioning to a digital exchange with a digitally equipped tax advisor. Are there any comparable hotels that digitally transfer their Mews accounting reports to their tax advisor? If so, what experiences have you had, and how do you work with Excel exports or connections from Mews to DATEV Unternehmen Online via OmniBoost? I would appreciate specific feedback. Looking forward to your insights! 

Hi, Today a guest pointed out that our booking module does not save the guest changes. So when you first select a date range with 2 adults and then view the rooms and select a room and add a child it does not save it and the booking is made only for 2 adults.  I made a screen recording wish might explain it more clearly:  

Is anyone working with the combination MEWS - Booking.com - Vostio Digital Key?We've been experiencing issues from the very beginning, and so far, no one seems able to provide a solid solution.When a guest makes a reservation through Booking.com, they automatically receive a message from MEWS prompting them to check in online and create a digital key. Most guests are able to complete the online check-in, but then they don’t see the option to generate a digital key. In cases where guests do manage to create the key, it often doesn’t work upon arrival.In general, we’re also having ongoing issues with the functionality of the digital keys. The doors don’t open on the first attempts, and after multiple tries, it might eventually work.Is there anyone else who has experienced similar issues or has found a reliable way to resolve them?

👋 Hi everyone,We’re currently considering whether it’s worth paying for the SMS service from MEWS to notify guests about the online check-in. 📲💬Alternatively, we’re thinking about using WhatsApp messages via our local chatbot partner instead. 🤖📱Both options come with pros and cons.what do you think about? 

Can anyone clarify whether revenue from availability blocks is reflected in Mews Manager Analytics, particularly in cases where none of the blocked availability has been picked up? I had understood that it wouldn’t be included until converted into actual bookings, but I’ve noticed no revenue increase even after the block was released and the spaces were booked.

Hello community, does anyone have experience sharing the check-in URL? We need to send through a MEWS partner and also manually the URL that MEWS generates for each guest to iniciate the online check-in process.Also, I take this opportunity to ask if this is feasible, maybe MEWS has not developed this possibility yet or prohibits it for some reason. Any information on this topic, will be appreciated. Regards, Nicolas.
