Hi Mews Community, So, you’ve issued an invoice and now you’re waiting for it to be paid. And waiting. Still waiting... When it’s settled, your work isn’t done; you still need to do some manual work to reconcile the payment. Sound familiar? To help hoteliers with this challenge, we’re excited to announce a new feature: payment request by invoice 🎉 By enabling guests to pay directly from an invoice, you’ll not only offer a frictionless experience, but you’ll also make life easier for your team with less time spent chasing outstanding payments and easier payment reconciliation. Keep reading to learn more and how to start using this new feature when it goes live on October 29 🚀  What’s new? This update adds a payment request link to invoices issued in Mews. When the guest clicks on the payment link, they’re taken to a secure page to complete their payment. Dear Community,We understand that the Google Hotel Search integration is a valuable tool for many of you. It helps boost your visibility on Google and drives more direct bookings to your property. That's why we want to let you know about an important change coming soon. What's happening? As of July 1st, 2024, Google will stop supporting its integration with Mews. This means that the current Google Hotel Search connection on Mews Marketplace will no longer work. Unfortunately, this is Google's decision, and it's not something Mews can control. Why is this happening? Google hasn't given us a specific reason. They've simply decided to stop supporting integrations like the one with Mews. Rest assured; this isn't targeted specifically at Mews. What are we doing about it? If you're using Google Hotel Search through Mews, the integration will end on July 1st.
