To clarify and empower you with better understanding, let's delve into how the Mews API operates.The Misconception: Mews Sending DataOne of the most common misconceptions is that Mews proactively sends data to integrations. However, this is not how the Mews API functions. Mews holds the data, but it is up to the integration to request it. If data is not being received by an integration, it usually means one of the following:The Integration is Not Requesting the Data: If an integration claims they are not receiving data from Mews, it's possible they haven't requested it. Mews does not automatically push data to integrations; instead, integrations must actively make requests for the data they need. This is a great opportunity for guests to enhance their experience. Now that their trip is approaching and booking it may be a distant memory, guests will be more inclined to add one or two extras to make their stay even better. And it is also a great way for you to showcase what your property offers and to get some ancillary revenues in. Our designers have revamped the user experience to improve usability, showcase your offer in the best way and boost conversion. Many of the updates we make to the Mews platform are inspired by users like you. As we grow, it's important that your voice continues to shape our platform. That's why we've simplified our UserVoice forum and how we handle your suggestions. It's now even easier to share your feedback and help us build a better Mews for everyone. What’s changing? Fewer categories: We've simplified things to make it less confusing to find the right place for your suggestions. Don't worry, no ideas will be deleted. We're just moving them to new, streamlined categories. Simpler statuses: New ideas will automatically become available for others to vote on (and will have the "Idea to Upvote" status). We'll change the status to "Released" when they're live in Mews. This means you'll always know exactly where your ideas stand. Mandatory two-factor authentication is coming to Mews – here's why it matters

Let's face it: passwords, while important, aren't enough to keep your online accounts completely secure these days. That’s why we're introducing mandatory two-factor authentication (2FA) for all Mews users. This is a big step towards making your accounts – and the data you trust us with – better protected. We know security is a top priority for everyone, so we want to explain why we're making this change and how it benefits you. For more detailed information, we've created a custom page about 2FA where we gather everything you need to know—have a look there. Why 2FA? Think of 2FA as an extra layer of protection beyond your password. It means that even if someone gets hold of your password (through phishing or other means), they won't be able to access your Mews account without a second piece of information – in this case, a code on your phone from an authenticator app. This helps to: Prevent unauthorized access: 2FA makes it much harder for hackers to get into your account. Hey there Mews Community!We've noticed some of you have been asking about how long it takes for payouts to reach your bank account. Let's break it down for you:Once a guest's credit card is charged, the money shows up in your Mews Payments balance pretty quickly, usually within minutes. Then, it takes up to three business days to process and send that money to your bank account. Depending on your bank, it might take another one or two business days to see it in your account.Exceptions to Keep in Mind: New Stripe Accounts: If you're new to Stripe, your first payout happens about seven days after your first successful payment. In some industries, this might take up to 14 days to manage risks related to credit services. Adyen MoR: Payouts through Adyen MoR happen once a week, specifically on Tuesdays. Adyen MarketPay: With Adyen MarketPay, payouts kick off daily as soon as there’s a balance to pay. But expect a settlement delay of up to three business days as funds are processed befor
