Is there any way to have reservations in timeline shown in colors so we can mark VIPs in a certain color for example or certain other signals that we want to be aware of important informations?

A tricky thought…..For the Stay service, we can create a number of bookable services, which can be chosen when making a reservation. We can also create a multitude of different Booking engines.For each of these Booking engines, we can decide which rates we would ike to display, but the bookable services are generic.It would be great if we can assign bookable services to the desired Booking engine….Great ExampleFlowers are a bookable service, as is Breakfast.  The website booking engine displays both We also have a booking engine for our Corporate clients, which displays their corporate rate as well as our daily rate. However this booking engine also displays the 2 aforementioned bookable services. Now flowers are not something that a corporate client would like to have, but breakfast is and we could sell them a fixed price airport transfer, which we would not want to sell to the general public.How can we distingu

All our most important contact information is now hidden for all our users.. Does anyone have a clue what could have happened? Or at least how to fix it?We cant actually run our operation without being able to contact customers so a pretty big deal :(   

Is there an easy/quick way to copy a reservation - let’s say you have a guest that is always there Monday-Friday and you would just click a button that copies the whole reservation and you would just have to adjust the arrival date, but everything else is already there (guest, billing address, preferred categories - whatever you may think of)?

Hi, In our old system the housekeeping report would show linnen change after the guest stayed for 3 nights.Is it possible to do something similar in Mews ?

Hello everyone,I'm looking for the best way to assign certain rooms last - unfortunately the chatbot doesn't help me much. Our elevator in one part of the building is broken and of course we want to assign these rooms last - but it's only about a certain part of the building and therefore the assignment “from bottom to top” is not what I'm looking for. In our old system, we always created a contingent tentatively, which didn't affect availability. These rooms were then only allocated accordingly if no other free rooms were available in the respective category, and I am quickly looking for a similar solution. 

Hi Everyone, Just want to check something again ;)  If i create a new reservation, with a new guestprofile, and want to add details like adress or preferences during the reservation, i cant return to the reservationsscreen. I miss the  ← arrow at the left upper site or the option to close this screen. Do i miss something?    

Hi there, is there a way to change the arrival or departure time automatically as soon as the early check in or late check out is added to a reservation?

Hi,It seems when someone using the Mews booking engine and chooses the option “I´m Booking for Someone Else”, Mews automatically invoices the “Booker” instead of the “Guest”.We do not want to invoice Bookers, but rather the Guest, regardless of who makes the booking as the Guest will be responsible for the payment. Besides manually moving the charges, is there any way to automate this?Alternatively, can we simply remove the “I’m booking for someone else” field from the booking engine? 

Hi All, Just want to check somehting: Last few days MEWS is closing my windows  automaticly when i click a tekstfield to for exeampla change the emailadres or phonenumber. Got it on multipule devices.  My first thougt was i needed a new mouse and keybord, but even on my laptop it does this. Anyonbe more experice this problem? 

Hi CommunityDie Neuerung mit dem “Zurück-Pfeil” statt der vielen geöffneten Tabs ist ja an und für sich eine gute Sache.Wenn man nun aber in der Zeitachse ist, dort ein gewünschtes Datum eingibt, eine Reservierung bearbeitet und dann auf “zurück” klickt um zu prüfen, in welches Zimmer man diese legen will, landet man immer wieder am heutigen Datum. Beim Tagesgeschäft mit vielen zukünftigen Buchungen ist das doch ganz schön nervig.Was denkt ihr dazu?

Mich verwundert es sehr, dass es hier offensichtlich niemanden gibt, den die monatliche Zeitachse irritiert. Es gibt eine Ansicht nach Stunden, eine für eine Woche und eine für ein Jahr. Was fehlt ist die Monatsansicht für ca 30 Tage, diese ist bei MEWS fälschlicherweise eine Jahresansicht. Ich möchte doch gerne sehen können, was die nächsten Wochen auf uns zukommt und wir wir dran schrauben müssen. Bitte, es kann doch doch nicht schwierig sein diese Monatsansicht zu ermöglichen. Oder bin ich blind und liege falsch?

We are getting a lot of questions from confused guests because the final "summary" message of the Mews booking engine shows them the total price in big bold numbers and it says the amount that will be paid in small gray letters below. People simply do not read that and they think they have to pay the full price at the time of reservation.Can we please make the text "You'll pay €XXX Amount when you finish your reservation" in bigger letters to explain they only pay this quantity and not the whole price at the time of reservation? 

Hi there, how do I filter unoccupied spaces only when I want to assign a room in a reservation?  

Good afternoon, We sometimes have the following situation - the example of which is fictional.A guest makes a booking from 15 August until 19 August (4 nights).However, he will not stay on the first night.He booked the night of 15 August merely to guarantee an early check-in on 16 August.In essence, the guest will stay for 3 nights. What would be best in this case? [Especially the consideration of city tax plays here (as the guest did not spend the first night, it is not due for the first night)]1) split the reservation and cancel the first night with 100% cancellation cost?2) keep the reservation entirely but manually remove one city tax (mentioning this on the invoice for authority control purposes)3) another solution altogetherThank you for shedding your light on this.

[SOLVED]Morning, We’ve received multiple OTA reservations overnight. These have been correctly loaded into the system. However, the accompanying email from noreply@mews , notifying us to process the reservation/order, has not come through. Any issues going on in this respect currently? Thnx, PHman88

Is there a way to create a routing rule to a customer account? We have availability blocks with Customer Profiles that are set up at Paymasters for groups. We currently route the room, tax, and other fees to these paymasters based on the group contract. We would love to avoid this manual process. I think I am only seeing the option to create a routing rule to companies or TA’s. This is great for any group that pays via wire transfer but does not help if they pay via CC (80% of groups pay cc). Anyway around this? 

Hi :)When i go to our booking engine today, it is possible to book rooms much more than one year ahead.Our rates are only updated 1 year ahead.Can i close the booking engine for sale more than 1 year ahead ?Is it with a restriction ?Thank you 😄

Hey all,Does anyone have a magic tric to change different rooms into a different room category without having to un-assign the reservations from the room? I have a full hotel (summer season started) and we have decided to change the room categories names and characteristics for a marketing point of view, so I have to change about 90 rooms…Thank you for your help,Kind regards from Luxembourg,Eline

hei, does someone knows how to remove ‘house use’ reservation when i can’t press on that reservation. it looks like inactive reservation, but i can’t overwrite that reservation. when i try to make new reservation over that old  house use i get msg that its occupied.
