Dear CommunityWe are opening our Hotel in December and I am thinking about processes a lot. We offer shuttle service to the cable car free of charge. Now I was wondering if one of you has a suggestion of a Software which could be handy to add guests & time and location, so every porter & front desk has access to the information. I would love to hear your inputs. Best regardsLaura 

PHow do I book a group - i.e. a group of 20 corporate leaders where a contract would go to one person and the company would pay with one credit card for all the guests and the entire program etc. We plan on having a lot of group bookings at our venue (rather than just individual guest bookings for rooms) - for instance, small corporate retreats which will require room blocks.  Does Mews have the capabilities of sending quotes, contracts and invoices?  If not, will this be a feature in the near future? If not, is there a "work-around"? Does it also have the ability to create BEO's?

Hello Mewsers Just wondering if it is possible in anyway to have the notes coming from the channel manager to be all regarded as “General” notes instead of “Channel Manager” ones by Mews (see below)  It already does it for Expedia, but that is the only one...Is it a question of mapping between the OTA and the channel manager or between the CM and Mews? Only asking because it would be of great use to me as I’m using the Zapier integration to automate various tasks in regards of what is written in the “Notes” section of a new reservation. When it is a “General” note I can use it but I’can’t if it is a “CM” note… Maybe some of you knows how to get that setup @Mick maybe?...Or some Mews devs? Anyway, thanks in advance for your help and y

HeyaI am wondering if anyone knows how to map connecting rooms in the Assa Abloy Vostio key cutter, such that the keys you punch out opens both rooms in a connecting room set-up.Example - Room 5 + 6 can be made to a connecting room “5+6”. Room “5+6” is the parent room for room 5 as well as room 6. When a client is staying in room 5 or room 6,  it is possible to punch individual keys for them. However when the reservation is assigned room “5+6” the key cutter cannot figure out how to make a key, which will access both room 5 & room 6.Thanks for your feedback.Nikolas

Hello, Have anyone of you found a way to integrate Mews products with Fareharbor? We are a resort where we sell plenty of activities and packages of accommodation and activities, and we use Fareharbor to manage our activities. At the moment we have to manually make the reservation of the activities in Farehabor when someone books an activity though our booking engine, we manage the payment through Mews and then we select as payment method that we called in Fareharbor “Paid in Mews”. This solution is far from being ideal.I’m sure there are more hoteliers with the same problem, it would be nice to know how others handle the issue.

Hi,I do nut 100 % understand how aged based rates are setup.Do I needs do set-up someting in booking.com?Am I obliged to connect with the Booking.com integration in our marketplace to use this? Configuring channel manager settings to receive reservations with age categories (mews.com) It’s not really clear in this article.Thanks for your help; Sarah

Hi there,When we switched to MEWS, I heard that you could integrate HRS via Expedia. Now, I'm unable to find any further information about HRS integrations. Does anyone use Expedia as a "bridge" for HRS, or does HRS only work with a channel manager?Cheers,Daniel

In particular, we need to transfer invoices generated in MEWS (and their corresponding collections) automatically to the accounting 3er party system (Quickbooks or Holded for example). Hallo, wir suchen eine Möglichkeit in Mews Schlüssel bzw. Pin Codes für unser Schließsystem zu erzeugen. in der Beschreibung der Omnitec Schnittstelle aus dem Marktplatz soll dies möglich sein.Leider ist kein Howto dabei und man kann auch nichts einstellen ein Codierer haben wir nicht, da wir nur mit Pin Codes arbeiten wollen.  In der Omnitec Software ist der FIAS Server Aktiviert doch auch über den MEWS Connector ist ist kein Erstellen möglich. Die Verbindung ist Online und die Software von Omnitec funktioniert. Dies haben wir zusammen mit einem Service Techniker von Omnitec realisiert. Leider sind seine Fähigkeiten in MEWS sehr neu und er kann und hier nicht helfen. Es muss doch möglich sein den Pin nach Zahlung zu erstellen und dem Gast per Mail zu senden. ENGLISH: Hello, We are looking for a way to generate keys or pin codes for our locking system in Mews. In the description of the Omnitec in

Good morning, Referring to the message of Google discontinuing its Google Hotel Search integration with Mews, should we disable it in the Market Place?(I think mainly of Inventory Update errors once the integration goes down)Whilst the measure would come into effect on July 1st, I see it’s still a functioning integration at this time.I won’t complain :-)

Hi Community, We just noticed that some of the google tag events being passed from our Mews Booking Engine installed on our website are not complete: For example:Name and Phone of the person booking the reservation Number of nights reserved “view_item_list” even used for multiple eventsIs there any documentation that explains how Mews sends the google tag events. And if it is possible for us to customize the events that are being sent by the booking engine?

If you use the STAAH channel manager with Mews, do you find that guests from Expedia bookings always have their nationality set as USA and their address set as the Expedia headquarters address?

Hi, Is anyone working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central ? (Accounting system)We are having issues with invoices created in Mews.One of the challenges being experienced is with the A/R settings & the inability to see the debitors in our accounting system.

We are in the unfortunate position of having to use Synxis because of a membership/partnership agreement. I feel like a small part of me dies every time i have to update or change anything in the Synxis system, it’s like time travel but not in a good or fun way.Does anyone have any good tips about handling dynamic package products that come via Synxis into Mews? Right now we are handling using Zapier to check Synxis reservations if there is some dynamic package product included, then adjusting the reservation in Mews accordingly.Has anyone found a better way of linking Synxis dynamic package products to Mews products?So this is extras not linked to a particular rate or “static package”, things chosen extra by the guest like for example a bottle of wine, or a fruit platter etc.

Who here has experienced overbooking managed by Mews, and has had to deal with their premium service? It's time to tell the truth: for the past three years, we've noticed significant shortcomings. We recently hosted a delegation from Mews at the hotel (finally), and our key account manager alone identified more than 30 areas for improvement.Today, I am tired of watching a ping pong match between Mews and their partners, with each side always blaming the other. In the end, it's Mews that isn't doing its job properly. To all the developers: when will you wake up and create a proper PMS for us, with invoice and amount splits, amount adjustments, and a kiosk that works correctly...?But let's get back to my overbooking problem, which has been ongoing for two weeks without a solution, neither for us hoteliers nor for the guest who has no room. This management is scandalous, and we're expected to be responsive. I am being taken for a fool, and so are the guests!

Are there any free options to continue automatically listing rates with Google Hotel Search after it ends its integration with Mews on July 1?    On May 10, we received this email from MEWS announcing the discontinuation of the program. We appreciated the ability to list on Google Hotels via the MEWS integration in the past.
