I wanted to share a suggestion that could streamline our processes. Currently, we have 14 units and several OTAs, with bookings managed across different departments: some are processed by the commercial team, others by finance, and some are handled directly by the front office.

Each month, I go through the accounting ledger for each unit to identify completed charges and those still pending. This is quite time-consuming. Adding a “travel agency” field, either within the accounting ledger screen or in the exported ledger report to Excel, would be incredibly helpful. Simply having the travel agency name visible on one of these screens would save me hours of work each month. I imagine this challenge isn’t unique to us, so I thought it would be useful feedback for you.

Hi hockhaynner this is defiantly not unique to you . we have similar number of units and also work with 10 OTA with the biggest being booking.com which we are mostly booking.com payment to save on the high fees mews charge for payments . Then we also have about 50% of business as groups which we send out deposit and balance invoices . keeping track of these on mews is really hard
