Hallo zusammen,in Deutschland steht ja die MwSt. Änderung an.Gibt es hierzu von Mews ein ‘How to do Guide’ oder ähnliches?Desweiteren die Frage - wenn ich die Ratenregeln ändere, ändert es die Artikel in allen Buchungen oder nur in den neu erstellten? Genauso bei den Artikeln selbst - wenn ich den Betrag ändere, übernimmt es das für alle Buchungen oder nur neue?Vielleicht hat jemand von Euch schon einen Plan und könnte mir helfen. :)Dankeschön und viele Grüße

Hi all,Has anyone created a way to automate when a product for a late check-out is sold via the booking engine or online check-in, to have the departure time on the reservation automatically update?We are thinking maybe it could be possible with Zapier but its pretty difficult to set up new zaps 😅

Hi Mewsers,I was wondering anyone would answer the following question.We’re debating whether to start accepting different valuta’s in Mews with the Exchange Rate integration. However, we were wondering how the pay-out is done for those payments. Is this in the foreign currency or will this be in the local currency of our property, together with all payments in our local currency.Thanks in advance,Matthias

Hello, most of the time, my team forgets to check the "send marketing emails" option in the profile internals when checking in through the browser. However, when using Mews Kiosk, this doesn't happen since the button is on the profile filling screen. Is there any way to have this button available in the profile section through MEWS for the Browser as well?  

Has anyone integrated a barcode scanner with Mews or with any POS integration yet? Is this even possible?

Hey Community, Just wondering how you manage your voucher codes. We basically have one vouchercode and would love to track that by the value that is then written in the booking engine. As well as having a voucher code where it is able to set how many times this vouchercode can be used.  Example: Investore rate -100% Max Mustermann is on of 200 investors and has 2 free nights. I would like to set the voucher “Investor” with the Value “MAXMUSTERMANN” to activate it and it can only be used 2 times in a specific time. Then i would like to have the value of the Voucher in the report as well. Is this already possible? We often see a problem here with managing vouchers? Do you have that as well?  Best regardsHendrik

Hi, I’m new and in training and setting up my rates. By default it seems anybody can make a booking in the far future. I can put closed restrictions in a certain time window but if I go farther than that in the future then I can book something say in year 3050 no problem. It is kind of weird to me to have such dates open in my system. Are these far-future availabilities pushed to the OTAs and channel managers? Is the only way to protect oneself from such bookings to put a ridiculously high price on the tarif? seems like a hack to me and a malicious user could still make a phony booking... Is there anyway tarifs can be closed for all dates above a certain date ?Thanks

Hello We have just Migrate from Amadeus-Hotel Concepts to Mews and we are experiencing a weird bug Indeed while scanning the id to complete the guest profile (or by completing it manually), it appears that all guests borned before 1961 are considered by Mews as being born in the year twothousands...It means that if you are born in 1960, it captures 2060 as the year of birth and therefore you cannot save your guest profile as there is an error message poping up We are in a dd/mm/yy configuration ans have not try another one as we want to stick to it (more common in Europe) Did somebody already enounter that issue and find a solution? If so, I would be glad if you could help. Bravo à Mews!Chapeau! respect!Avec les tarifs que nous payons, ne pas vouloir sortir un euro pour faire un service client à peu près convenable en demandant à ses propres clients de le faire eux même gratuitement, c’est du grand art!!Point positif: pour une fois, Mews ne nous fait pas payer pour ça. 

Hello everyone We just migrated from Amadeus Idpms to Mews One of the consequences is that some of the open receivables on our books in Amadeus were not yet balanced at the time of migration (because not paid yet).  Recently we have received a payment for an invoice issued in June 2023 I was wondering how to post the payment in Mews. Here is the idea I thought of:=> First: going on to the company profile - billing - open new bill=> Then: go on payment - external - choose invoice and post a negative value of the paid amount (put a note for reference like: “ bill june 2023 Amadeus”)=> Last: post the payment (wire transfer in this case) which would balance the bill  What do you think? The main question here of course is: how to process the remaining receivables from the previous PMS in Mews ?😉 Thanks in advance for your help and insights Regards
