Hello, How can I have confirmation PDF to send to my clients? So far I can’t only download a pre invoice or a register document for the reception. And many of them wants the confirmation PDF without the rates, especially when it’s a Company booking or some agencies. Thank you!

Is there a way to make the notes in guest profiles more visible or to have like a pop up once you open a profile or reservation? I would love the pop ups so reservation agents don’t forget to look into the notes

Dear Mews freaks here,does anyone have the same problem as me? If there is a direct reservation from a customer or is a returning customer who has a credit card in his customer record an automatic mail is still sent to the customer to say that there is no credit card in the system for him even though he has given it on the phone. Is there any way to do this when a reservation is made for a returning customer that the credit card is automatically linked to the new reservation? And furthermore, when we are checking in a customer, Mews indicates that no pre-authorization was made for the reservation even though it is present in the system. Is there any way to avoid this. Hope someone can help me with this? Robin 

How can I add more custom payment types? E.g. for AIRBNB payouts (reservations fully paid by AIRBNB), what “payment type” can I use? I want to use “AIRBNB” as a payment type, but there is nothing similar.

Is iot correct that our corporate guests cannot cancel their reservation through the booking engine, even though the reservation is made through the booking engine ? 🤓

Hello, I want to build an availibilty calendar on my hotel website. For that I wanted to use the services/getAvailibilty API Route. Mews Support said to me that I need register a private integration in order to use it. But for that I would have to become a Mews Partner. Do have to that really just to use the API? Thanks.

Hi hope someone can help.We are going to be updating our rates that are currently set up. When we include a New item, the old item is not deleted from a booking already in the system. This means we have to go into each individual booking and cancel the item we don’t want included anymore. Can anyone suggest another way to do this to make it easier?

Hi :)We want to offer our guest a 10% discount if they sign up for our newsletter.How can we do that ?If i make a voucher i Mews, they can use it many times. But i want the voucher to be valid for just one booking.

How do you handle guest profiles if they pass away? Is there a best practice?Unfortunately there is no classification for that right now which would make sense i guess. So right now we remove all mailing checkboxes (newsletter, postal) and add a guest notice.

Hi all, Is there anyone that really uses the Mews Analytics here?In my opinion it’s way to slow. Most of the time you have to made about 10min before all data is loaded.If you change one of the filters or want to dive deeper, it takes ages again to load… It's so bad, you often just get errors that data cannot be loaded due to a timeout. Who has time to wait so long if you just want to look something up quickly? Anyone here that has a different experience and is actually able to use this feature properly?

HiI'm going live with Mews next week and would like to know how you’ve set up Expedia and Booking. Expedia:I’ve created all the brands as companies with travel contracts. I want to make sure that bookings made through Expedia Collect are routed properly, so the team knows that these bookings have already been paid by the guest to Expedia.I’ve also made a special rate plan for Expedia VCC because we charge the credit card the day before arrival (we need full payment since our reception isn’t open 24/7, and guests must pay before accessing their room). The problem is that the VCC is only valid on the day of arrival. Now, I’m considering deleting this rate plan and relying on the routing for all Expedia Collect travel agents instead. In looking for information on how to block a Guest in Mews, a page listing the classifications and their meanings was presented. The term “blacklist” is a derogatory term offensive individuals who identify as black, as also mentioned by one of my Staff members who is of African American descent. Respectfully, please remove this term throughout the Mews platform. Last year or earlier this year, I requested this to be changed in the classification drop-down menu and this was done. I expected that Mews would have searched the platform and changed this everywhere but this is another location where it has resurfaced.
