Hi, How do you do to send your invoice when you are not allowed to show the OTA commission ? For exemple AGODA / HOTELBEDS: For which we receive a debit card but only for the net amount. (Reservation amount - commission)While I am supposed to send an invoice for the total amount closed.How do you proceed?

Hello Mews Community! I am wondering if anyone knows how to manipulate the fields of the guest in house report to sort by date first? More specifically, the “Ordering” option. It seems crazy to me that this is not an option for filtering already. Has anyone else had this question? 

All our most important contact information is now hidden for all our users.. Does anyone have a clue what could have happened? Or at least how to fix it?We cant actually run our operation without being able to contact customers so a pretty big deal :(   

Hello! How do you all solve scenarios where guests or travel agents are asking for a reservation summary PDF (dates, room type, nr of rooms & people, additional services, price)? The pdf that you can download from the “Summary” tab does not look presentable and also includes unnecessary information about the categories. The attachment that is sometimes included in the confirmation email would work fine, but I still have not been able to figure out why the attachment is sometimes there, but often missing from the confirmation email.Thanks!

How we could filter by amount in accounting balance?

Hello, Have anyone of you found a way to integrate Mews products with Fareharbor? We are a resort where we sell plenty of activities and packages of accommodation and activities, and we use Fareharbor to manage our activities. At the moment we have to manually make the reservation of the activities in Farehabor when someone books an activity though our booking engine, we manage the payment through Mews and then we select as payment method that we called in Fareharbor “Paid in Mews”. This solution is far from being ideal.I’m sure there are more hoteliers with the same problem, it would be nice to know how others handle the issue.

Hi,I do nut 100 % understand how aged based rates are setup.Do I needs do set-up someting in booking.com?Am I obliged to connect with the Booking.com integration in our marketplace to use this? Configuring channel manager settings to receive reservations with age categories (mews.com) It’s not really clear in this article.Thanks for your help; Sarah

Hey there,i have some questions about the kiosk app and the handling with it 😊.We don’t use the kiosk as self-service-station but more like an digital check-in-form to get the legally required guest data in our system. So the guests arrive at our reception and we can hand them an ipad with the kiosk app … so if the guests haven’t added all data with the online-check-in they use the kiosk app 👍.Our problem is, that we can’t hand the tablet when the room is not clean already which would be great because the guests are waiting anyway (until the room is clean) and have time to complete the kiosk. When changing the room status we are not able to track if the room is ready or not … Any suggestions or workarounds for that?Also in the kiosk settings in active options what is “employee mode” and “automatic space allocation” (we have german version, translation may be slightly different).

Hi there,When we switched to MEWS, I heard that you could integrate HRS via Expedia. Now, I'm unable to find any further information about HRS integrations. Does anyone use Expedia as a "bridge" for HRS, or does HRS only work with a channel manager?Cheers,Daniel

Is there an easy/quick way to copy a reservation - let’s say you have a guest that is always there Monday-Friday and you would just click a button that copies the whole reservation and you would just have to adjust the arrival date, but everything else is already there (guest, billing address, preferred categories - whatever you may think of)?

Hi, In our old system the housekeeping report would show linnen change after the guest stayed for 3 nights.Is it possible to do something similar in Mews ?

We’re pretty new with mews but it seems that the “Send marketing postal mail” guest option is pretty new because it isn’t event translated yet in the german version of mews.We do send postal mailings and are using this option (in addition of loyalty codes which we used because send marketing postal mail was not available in the import) …My question is:How is it possible to export guest data for postal mails? Is there an solution for exporting all with the “Send marketing postal mail” option and/or is there an option to export profiles by loyalty code?It seems like its not that easy to get data into mews but its even harder to get it out again 😅.

How can I download all PDF invoices at the end of the month?I understand there is the possibility to use an API request. But common, is there no easy way?Every simple invoice tool has this feature…. 

Hello MEWS community.Does anyone have experience integrating accounting solutions? In particular, we need to transfer invoices generated in MEWS (and their corresponding collections) automatically to the accounting 3er party system (Quickbooks or Holded for example). Hello everyone,I'm looking for the best way to assign certain rooms last - unfortunately the chatbot doesn't help me much. Our elevator in one part of the building is broken and of course we want to assign these rooms last - but it's only about a certain part of the building and therefore the assignment “from bottom to top” is not what I'm looking for. In our old system, we always created a contingent tentatively, which didn't affect availability. These rooms were then only allocated accordingly if no other free rooms were available in the respective category, and I am quickly looking for a similar solution. 

We have the problem that our guests can’t add travel companions in the online checkin or the kiosk. I’ve just created an reservation and for me this was possible in the online check in.Ive checked the sent mails but nobody else ever has used this feature, thats why i guess its just not available for our guests … i don’t know why it was available for me (used that from my phone) but probably because my account is not a normal guest account i guess.How is the “add travel companion” feature in the online check in (and maybe even kiosk) activated or what rules do apply that this is visible? Is there an option to allow companions without email or how is the handling intended for children?

Hello mews community, I'm here to listen how other hoteleriers handle the following:Current scenario: We have several breakfast products (normal price and discounted version for corporate and groups). Each of this make a specific product, with a specific ID. Only the normal breakfast product is marked, and needs to be marked, for upsell on the kiosks checkin. Problem: The kiosk does not recognize products that come with rates, therefore, it will try to upsell the product to guest who already have a breakfast added. This causes issues when guest do not remember having it, they proceed to add and pay, and then we are facing extra work having to check and refund. Example: Lets say that our corporate rate “Bed and Breakfast Corporate” has a product rule with: add “discounted corporate breakfast” (for value of 10), but only the product names “Full breakfast price” (for price 12)  is the one offered for upsell. Hallo, wir suchen eine Möglichkeit in Mews Schlüssel bzw. Pin Codes für unser Schließsystem zu erzeugen. in der Beschreibung der Omnitec Schnittstelle aus dem Marktplatz soll dies möglich sein.Leider ist kein Howto dabei und man kann auch nichts einstellen ein Codierer haben wir nicht, da wir nur mit Pin Codes arbeiten wollen.  In der Omnitec Software ist der FIAS Server Aktiviert doch auch über den MEWS Connector ist ist kein Erstellen möglich. Die Verbindung ist Online und die Software von Omnitec funktioniert. Dies haben wir zusammen mit einem Service Techniker von Omnitec realisiert. Is there a recommended process for back-ups of Mews reservations in case of a Mews system outage? How do you know who has a reservation with you tonight?We scheduled a daily reservation report sent to an Email.Does anybody have a better solution for this?Thx Max
