I am surprised that I couldn’t find any thread discussing this issue.Maybe I am the only one with this problemFor the past month, I’ve tried everything, but Booking.com continues to remove all links from every email we send. This prevents us from sharing the online check-in link or Mews Messages link with our guests.My booking.com account manager suggested writing out the link instead of using a button, but that didn’t work either.I even added the „app.mews.com“ link to Booking.com whitelist - „your approved links“The account manager is aware of the issue but hasn’t provided a solution.Does anyone know a solution to this issue?

Hey,We recently reviewed our data regarding the booking engine and noticed that the conversion rate is really low when users come via Metasearch.For us, this has a lot to do with the information about the hotel that guests receive from the booking engine.Currently, users are redirected straight to the "select category" section, which is generally great, but it can be overwhelming for guests as no other information about the hotel is provided. I think to improve the conversion rate, it would be great to rebuild this section of the booking engine and include the possibility to add more general information.Is there something we might already be missing? What’s your take on this? Would be good to have some feedback. Best Hendrik  

Recently Mews decided to change the checkin / kiosk to not include guest companions anymore. In the current state the fetched information is below the minimum we need.Also problematic about the whole change is that this wasn’t communicated beforehand but instead a day late. With the impact on workflows and the confusion it created that should really be handled differently the next time.Right now we are looking for alternatives to replace the checkin / kiosk with a system that let us fetch the information we need but we don’t really want another service for that. I know that there are some plans to allow us to customize the information collected by the checkin which would completely solve the problems we have right now.Is there a rough timeline about these changes so we can plan accordingly?

Hello, We’ve been getting Mews emails lately: “as per your request; you can reset your account password ….”However, no (active) staff member or myself asked for a password reset.I can apparently disregard this e-mail. However, should I be worried someone is trying to get into my account?

Hi. I wonder why the action log does not offer any “undo” buttons? As an admin I am also only a human being and I do make mistakes when it comes to setting rates, adjusting rates, changing reservations ao. Pluss the lovely hotel guests make changes, want different rooms ao.Should be a no brainer to put up an “undo” feature? As this one will get logged too…Or am I blind for the actual possibility already being there?Best regards,Karola, Hindsæter, Norway

We currently use a third party to handle online checkin and digital keys, one of the main reasons is that we find it useful to know approximately what time guests would like to check in, and this to be automatically reflected in the arrival time shown in Mews. It also gives the guest the opportunity to buy early check in as an extra.Now that Mews is offering digital keys, I want to see if we can stop using and paying for the third party system and do everything in Mews, hopefully also giving a more seamless experience for the guest.According to the Mews support chat it is possible to ask guests for arrival time in the Mews online check in, but I have never been able to find out how to do this.Has anyone got this working directly in Mews?

Is there a way to disable the pre arrival e-mail that is sent the morning of arrival.I know that there is a option in the bookable service but i am not sure if this deactivates both the mail two days before arrival and the mail on the day of arrival.Is there a way to disable only the mailing on the day of arrival?

Kann mir jemand von der technischen Abwicklung SEPA berichten? Kann Mews das selbst der Rechnung zuweisen? Läuft das über ein Konto von Mews und die überweisen das dann gebündelt weiter oder wie genau funktioniert das?Hab zwar einiges dazu gefunden, aber wie das abgewickelt wird, dazu steht nirgends was.

Liebe Community, mit welchem Channelmanager arbeitet Ihr?Hat jemand die Kombination von Mews und Diers und kann mir etwas zu Euren Erfahrungen sagen?Ich war sehr unzufrieden mit Cubilis, da der Setup mit Booking nie richtig funktionierte und ich die Fehelr ausbaden musste. Zur Zeit bin ich mit MEWS direkt mit Booking verbunden. Mir fehlt jedoch AIRBNB,Hier scheint ja die Schnittstelle nicht wirklich priorisiert zu sein. Oder interessiert das noch jemanden?Es gibt hier bereits eine Abstimmung zu dem Thema - jedoch ist das Commitment eher bescheiden.Fraglich, ob es nicht genügend Mewser wissen oder das Interesse nicht da ist. Hello, How can I have confirmation PDF to send to my clients? So far I can’t only download a pre invoice or a register document for the reception. And many of them wants the confirmation PDF without the rates, especially when it’s a Company booking or some agencies. Thank you!

Ich musste zwei Anzahlungen für eine Anzahlung korrigieren, da sie falsch abgerechnet wurde und habe die Rechnung storniert dabei entstand eine Rückerstattung, die allerdings nicht rückerstattet werden soll und habe das auch storniert. neu gebucht um es richtig zu fakturieren, allerdings habe ich jetzt zu viele Sachen und finde mich nicht mehr zurecht. 

Is there a way to make the notes in guest profiles more visible or to have like a pop up once you open a profile or reservation? I would love the pop ups so reservation agents don’t forget to look into the notes

Dear Mews freaks here,does anyone have the same problem as me? If there is a direct reservation from a customer or is a returning customer who has a credit card in his customer record an automatic mail is still sent to the customer to say that there is no credit card in the system for him even though he has given it on the phone. Is there any way to do this when a reservation is made for a returning customer that the credit card is automatically linked to the new reservation? And furthermore, when we are checking in a customer, Mews indicates that no pre-authorization was made for the reservation even though it is present in the system. Is there any way to avoid this. Hope someone can help me with this? Robin 

How can I add more custom payment types? E.g. for AIRBNB payouts (reservations fully paid by AIRBNB), what “payment type” can I use? I want to use “AIRBNB” as a payment type, but there is nothing similar.

Is iot correct that our corporate guests cannot cancel their reservation through the booking engine, even though the reservation is made through the booking engine ? 🤓

Hello, I want to build an availibilty calendar on my hotel website. For that I wanted to use the services/getAvailibilty API Route. Mews Support said to me that I need register a private integration in order to use it. But for that I would have to become a Mews Partner. Do have to that really just to use the API? Thanks.

Hi can anyone help?we had a guests physical card charged when there was a virtual on their file, when the checked in online. Is this something that is common?
