Hi everyone,

can you please help me upvote this feedback reuqest to email bills automatically upon closure.

@anna.ahlen at the moment you won’t be able to insert an email address for the bill to be sent to. The feature is currently designed around automating the sending of the email to the bill owner. Feel free to create  feature request to enhance this to add additional email addresses, and we can consider this as a future enhancement.

I don’t follow your second question I am afraid, not sure how credit card numbers connects to automatic bill sending. Are you asking about Billing Automation and how it works if you route a specific reservation to a different profile and the credit card is on the guest profile?

If so if you are using payment plans to charge the cards the payment will route to the bill containing the extents (e.g. nights/products) that the payment plan covered, even if this bill is on a different profile. The only exception is if you have for some reason split the items across two bills we will route to unpaid items for manual allocation as we cannot know which is the correct bill to route the payment to. If it is a VCC payment it will always route to the bill with the nights on it.

nice :) a little follow up question. Will we be able to beforehand insert an email adress for the bill to be sent to even if it not part of the owners profile?

and what happens if the same guest has multiple reservations with different credit card numbers, will the system detects which card belongs to which reservation?

ok.

My second question was if we have a regular guest with multiple reservations for different dates. In mews, the cc is connected to the guest profile so will the system detects which cc belongs to which reservation? and does billing automation with automatic charge work if we have routed booking to for example an expedia profile.
