Hi Community,

As we head towards the end of the year, Matt and Richard sat down to answer some frank questions from the team in this month’s Matt Talks – and it’s a properly candid one.

I watched it over my morning coffee and it was great to hear their reflections on what they’re excited about in 2026, what very nearly derailed Mews, and a couple of customer moments that really stuck with them.

Richard on what hospitality truly means to him:
“I’m very passionate about everything hospitality represents. It’s about creating something together that’s bigger than the sum of its parts – where 1+1 genuinely equals 3. That idea of connection, care, and shared experience is right at the core of hospitality.”

Matt on what’s just around the corner:
“Then we start to connect the dots – this guest is spending money in our restaurants, it feeds into their total revenue profile in the PMS, and the revenue management system can optimise for TRevPAR instead of just RevPAR. That’s the thing we’ve been building towards, and it’s now coming to fruition.”

Well worth a watch if you’re interested in where Mews is heading, why some of the hard decisions mattered, and how customer impact continues to shape what we build next. Curious to hear what stood out for you 👀

Here’s a couple of clips with the full episode at the end 👇
