HOTEL-RESTAURANT DAHM

Dear Mews Community,

We are completely new to the community so, first I say Hello to everyone😁

I asked myself if it was possible to somehow add colors / symbols / anything else to the reservation, so I can tell them all apart at one glance in the timeline.

For example : all half-board packages one color / symbol, all accommodation only, and so on.

So I can see immediately how many half board menu’s we have for today without having to click on each reservation?

Thank you in advance !

Best regards,

Mia

Hello Mia!

Welcome!
As far as I am aware the only colours shown on the timeline are in relation to the “status” of reservations.

I.e. light grey = past or future reservations, blue = reservations that need to be checked in or out today, green = online check-ins, dark grey = currently checked in reservations.

So unfortunately not a way to use the timeline. I have some suggestions for how to achieve what you want to see:

Depending on how you have your reservations set up the approach varies. If you have half board set up as a product I would recommend using the product report filtering by the product (half-board, breakfast included etc.) https://help.mews.com/s/article/product-report?language=en_US

If you have them set up as different rates you could probably also use the reservations report to get an overview.

Once you have set up the report to your liking/use case you can save it using custom links and then you only need to change the dates when selecting from the custom links for quick daily/weekly use.

Hope this was helpful!
