Hi, you would have to undo the check in and unlock the reservation to move it, but it’s not recommended.
Hi, if the reservation is checked in already from the day before. The room i want to move to was occupied yesterday but is now clean and available. Can i then move the reservation without splitting it?
Look at below example: i would like to move 1 → 2. From what i know this is not possible without splitting the reservation? Am i correct?

Unfortunately, the system cannot handle this without a split. I have tried many times and many different ways, but it will not work. Only thing to do is split. However, keep in mind that this will mess up your billing and payments for the reservation. You will have to do adjustment entries in the guest bills. Unfortunate. My other hotel properties, which use different PMS, are able to reassign rooms without any issues. So why does MEWS not have that capability is baffling.
