Improved Ledger Activity Report with flexible views

We are opening a Beta for a new version of the Ledger Activity Report as part of the new ledger reporting.

The Ledger Activity Report is designed primarily for investigating ledger movements and understanding specific scenarios or chains of events.

The purpose of this update is to streamline working with ledger transactions. All ledger movements are now shown in one single table, with more attributes available, allowing you to:

• Add or hide columns

• Group and filter by any column

• Create flexible views tailored to your workflows

What we want to learn

With this beta, we would like to understand:

• Whether this new level of flexibility is useful in your day to day work

• How you typically use the report (timeframes, filters, grouping)

• How the report behaves when used with your typical data volumes and workflows

A few notes

• You can switch between the old and new views at any time

• To reuse a specific view  (columns, filters, grouping), you can save the report URL. 

• Exports are not yet updated with the new attributes. These will be added in the next few weeks. Exports will continue to include raw, ungrouped data only

• For revenue reporting of longer timeframes, we plan to introduce a Trial Balance in Mews UI later in Q1, focused on aggregated figures rather than detailed movements

• This report is part of the new ledger reporting. If ledgers are not yet enabled for your property, they will become available as part of the ongoing rollout in Q1.
