Hi @Louisa Ruhrberg – the Beta is for an improvement to the Ledger Activity Report, which is part of the new ledger reporting solution being rolled out.

As mentioned earlier, your property did not yet have the new ledgers enabled. The rollout to the DACH region happened today, so you should have access to the new ledger reporting, which means you can now join and test this Beta.

For context, the Beta for the ledger solution itself ran in Q2/Q3 last year, and I can see that Quality Hotel Maritim was included in that phase.

thank you for your reply. Since yesterday we do have the new ledgers in all Maritim properties. But the ledger activity report is enabled in all properties as well. So Katja told me that there is no Beta anymore for this activity report. Is that correct?

This Beta is for the new version of Ledger Activity Report. When you login to it, you should see the button “Switch to new view” that enables you to see the new version we are testing now.

As you are new to this report in the first place, it would be good to see your experience with trying to use either version, but ultimately the new view is the one we plan to deply soon as it gives more data attributes and flexibility in working with the data.

Apologies if this is al a bit confusing, we where effectively doing a Beta improvement on reporting set we where still rolling out to % of properties (as most already have the new ledgers enabled).

Here is some feedback from our reception team:

• The filters are a good start 🙂

• A filter by time would be important, similar to other reports, not just by date.

• A bulk selection function would be helpful.
  For example, if I want to view aggregated data for “voucher,” multiple suggestions currently have to be selected one after another. It would be much easier to activate all of them at once. Deactivating them in bulk is already possible.

• The window for the detailed view is too small compared to the overview at the top. With longer lists, a lot of scrolling is required. In day-to-day operations, staff are frequently interrupted; at the moment, colleagues take screenshots to remember where they left off. A larger view would be much better here.

• In new version of LAR you can filter by any column in the view
• When you mention filter by time, do you mean by Consumption time? Can you explain more why using the time element is important / in what scenarios would you use it and why?
• Will check bulk selection feasibility with the team, good feedback.

Overall, would be great for us to learn more how Front Desk is using this report, would you be up for a quick call later this week or early next week?
