Hello! We’re constantly trying to improve Mews and value your feedback deeply. On this occasion, we’re looking for feedback around the use of reports within Mews.

Do you often use the reservation report or other ones? If so, we would deeply appreciate going over to this quick study: https://app.useberry.com/t/KBY3NOToAWP9GG/

Otherwise, you can drop your comments here and let us know what works best and what can improve in the Reservation Report in particular.

Thanks a lot!

Hello,

I’ve completed the survey now.

One piece of feedback I have (which applies to all reports) is regarding the date selection. When changing the start date, the end date should automatically adjust accordingly. Currently, the default for this report is set to a 1-hour range. I would suggest updating this to a 24-hour period, i.e., from 00:00 to 00:00.

For example, if I change the start date to the 25th (as shown below), the end date should not remain as the 11th - it should follow the same logic and update automatically.

@Robin Gustavsson this would be indeed great!

@Tini would agree very much! 😉 Tini and me talked to (I think it was) @conor.winders and he stated, that this is probably not as easy as it sounds to resolve. The underlaying technology doesn’t support that functionality.

Yes this is true - in the existing reports (and some other parts of Mews) this is not a simple fix - but absolutely something we can and will fix as we update screens

@Kayleigh @nstockman @ReservationsFashion

the main point would be for any metric to be shown ‘up top’ is that we use accommodation classification and not space charge for any average rate etc

Hey @deivid.saenz

I’d like to share a suggestion regarding the OCC report. Currently, when setting the interval to a longer range (e.g. the next 6 months), the report shows each day. It would be very helpful to have an option to view the data summarized by month, directly within MEWS, similar to the different view modes available in the Manager Report.

I’m aware that occupancy can also be seen in the Manager Report, but in our case, around 60% of our bookings are group reservations using availability blocks. The final rooming list and pick-up often happen only a few weeks before the event, so the occupancy shown in the Manager Report doesn't reflect the actual OCC on the books.

Having a monthly summary view in the OCC report would allow for a quicker and more accurate forward-looking overview, without needing to export to Excel and filter month by month.

Thanks a lot!
