Thank you very much for your requests to test the new “making rooming list as owner” feature. All new requests above this post now have the feature active in their properties.

Hey Aldair,

1. Absolutely, the simple swap from companion straight to owner is already a huge win. Saves anything from 100-1000 manual clicks even for one group.

2. One feedback we had was the need to make it more clear in the excel somehow, where you have double occupancy, so as to not put both as owner by accident.

Lastly, we would be very interested in a proof of concept call for the next phase and happy to answer any questions.

I love that you’ve brought up the case of showing occupancy on the rooming list, we have been thinking of exactly that for enabling automatic pick up of reservations for blocks. 

We would like to add the occupancy count (PAX) to the rooming list so that it is easier for the AI to identify if it should:

a) Assign multiple people to a space incase the document does not contain room numbers
b) If the number of people is define the AI would be able to determine if multiple people should be added to the same space or if they should for example each be added to their own room.

Feel free to add a comment on your preference for room pick up here, otherwise let me know if I can drop you an email with some meeting slots so that we can talk about this in depth.

It would be great to add alternate row shading for each room, it’ll make it easier to fill in details, especially when some rooms have two guests and others have three. Right now it’s a bit messy if you only have one guest’s info per room.

Rooming List update: temporary rollback and fix ETA today

Good morning all,

We’re improving the new Rooming List to better support larger properties. During this work we identified a performance bug that caused timeouts.

• Action taken: We’ve temporarily rolled back the “Make reservation owner” change in the Rooming List.

• Fix ETA: A bug fix is planned for end of day today (CET).

• Next step: After deployment, we’ll reopen the beta.

Thank you for your patience. The bug has been resolved, and all new requests to enter the beta for making reservation owners from the rooming list have been activated.

I will begin reaching out to properties this week for calls to cover feedback on the AI rooming list before we begin rolling our to the beta.
