Hi, my name is Laura and I am Product Manager in the billing team, I am excited to share with you details of our new Beta programme.
We've rebuilt the bill closing flow in the modern Mews interface and added a new close and send option – so you can close a bill and email it to the guest in one action.
This beta is for:
- Properties with users who close bills manually
What it does
- Modernised closing screen – the review before closing screen now loads in the modern Mews interface, matching the bill detail page look and feel, and loads more quickly than before
- Close and send in one step – when closing a bill, you can now send a copy to the bill owner in the same action, with the email address pre-populated from their profile
- Company send preferences – give you finer control over which companies receive bills automatically

What we're asking
- Does the overall flow feel intuitive – is the closing experience clear and easy to follow?
- When a guest has an email address on file, the send option defaults to checked. Does that default feel right for your property, or do you find yourself turning it off more often than not?
- For companies where you don't want bills sent automatically, are the company-level send preferences easy enough to manage?
