We recognise the pressure this deadline creates, but want to reassure you: this solution will be live in time.
Thanks for the update it’s good to finally see some concrete milestones.
However, I have to be honest: this still leaves a lot of uncertainty on our side. You “aim to confirm” a third-party partner within two weeks, and “estimate” completion by early December, but that timeline leaves zero buffer before the government’s deadline.
We, as hoteliers, don’t have the luxury to wait and see if everything works out.
Our deadline is not “early December”; it’s the official go-live date, and any delay on your side immediately becomes a problem for us.
What I (and many others, I’m sure) need to understand is:
What will be expected from us once this solution is ready?
Will there be testing or change of procedures required?
When can we realistically plan internal training (if needed) or communication for our teams?
Saying “it will be live in time” isn’t enough, we need a clear implementation plan and transparency on the steps ahead.
@Mews, please don’t just reassure us. Show us. Give us a concrete timeline with dependencies, customer-side actions, and a firm completion date.
