I already asked a question about the returning classification in Mews and it gets added automatically with the second checkin of the guest (which makes total sense). Problem is that this information is not really useful because you see that effectively only with the third reservation (because when the guest checks in with the second reservation the classification is not added so it looks the first stay).I get that the current handling is the most practical from an technical standpoint and logically makes sense but operations wise this is not really valuable. With beforehand preparations or even on checkin at the front desk the classification is not visible on the second stay (because it doesn’t get added until checkin).Better would be instead a first-time classification that every profile has by default that gets removed on checkin (technically the system checks on every checkin if that classification is set and removes it).I know that there are some guest loyal

Hi to everyone!We just started using MEWS TERMINAL last week, and we’ve been experiencing an odd issue while settling pending invoices.When the payment fails, after being launched from the payment settling menu in the control panel, the transaction in mews says “elaborating”, and prevents us to do anything else with the unsettled invoice. the 3 dots menu goes blank and that’s it.How can we solve this issue? Apparently i haven’t found anything about it so ask for your help, fellas MEWSers! Thanks a lot in advance Cheers,Nicolò

Hello to All, We have set up the SPA bookable service per night.My questions is does it necessary needs to be per hour ( although the service itself IS per hour :) ) as long as the accounting category and revenue center related to are correct?Otherwise it has to be deleted and done it again, correct? Looking forward to your advices and experience.Many thanks.Best,Bojana

Hallo liebe Community,ich bin auf der Suche nach einem Buchhaltungsbericht, der mir für ein bestimmtes Produkt den Namen und das Datum sortiert nach Datum anzeigt. Momentan kann ich nur entweder nach Name sortieren, dann fehlt das Datum, oder nach Datum sortieren, dann fehlt aber der Name des dazugehörigen Gastes.Es geht darum, die monatliche Abrechnung der Kurverwaltung für die Kurtaxe mit unseren tatsächlichen Buchungen der Kurtaxe abzugleichen. Die Rechnung der Kurverwaltung ist nach Anreisedatum sortiert und eben mit dem Namen versehen, genau so einen Bericht suche ich in Mews.Ich hoffe, dass mir jemand weiterhelfen kann, denn es ist wirklich mühsam und zeitaufwendig, jeden Gast manuell in Mews zu suchen, die Rechnung zu öffnen und dann zu vergleichen, ob alles passt.Ich bin Dankbar für jeden Vorschlag.

When people are making a reservation online and they want to stay in a room set up for 2 people, but with 3 persons (by adding an extra bed), I want the booking engine to automatically add the extra bed for every night of the booking. After that, I would also like this to be turned into a task for housekeeping. Good afternoon everyone!New day, new question (sorry 😄). I was wondering if there is a quick way to change the options of products I have created in Mews. Good afternoon everyone,Since our Mews launch, we have a direct connection with Booking.com to edit prices and availability. Before Mews, we worked with Cubilis as our channel manager. A few months ago, we decided to remove some of the roomtypes from the rooms offered on Booking.com.Today, I want to reverse this, but when I check the calendar view on Booking.com, I noticed that the price is missing (see screenshot underneath). How can I fix this in Mews so that the rooms can be sold again?  

Dear Community 👋🏼Has anyone have the same issue like I currently facing?.We have recently added Stripe as new payment provider and integrated the mews S1 terminal as the payment device, which is starting next month we will completly using stipe to replace the Adyen.Taking payment directly from the terminal with card or contactless is no issue, as well online pament when we have enterd the credit card details in mews manually.However, the credit card which captured in mews from the terminal payment, can not be re-preauthorize nor re-charge. Anyone aware what the issue here?.So far what I understood correctly, that the payment using S1 Teriminal will captured and tokanized the card details, which we can reuse it.I have wrote mews to change the Stripe as our default payment, however

Gibt es hier jemanden, der die gleiche Problematik in Bezug auf Zu- und Abschläge von Zimmerkategorien teilt? Weder MEWS, noch Duetto unterstützt Personenzu- oder Abschläge, z.B. ein DZ/EZ, Triple oder Vierbett. Hier musste ich ein Add On auf der Homepage erstellen. We want to configure the printing options of our Mews Terminal, so it only prints the customers receipt. A couple of weeks ago our management decided it was not necesary printing the merchant’s receipt anymorte and we always get up having a copy at the end. Is there a way we can customize that? thanks in advance.

Hi, we are adding all are notes manually and we want to automate this process. It would be great if we could add notes to a rate code so we are sure all neccessary information for this guest (corporate, special perks, colleagues) is automatically added. This way Front Office knows what guests are coming and what information they need to know up front. Can this become a feature?

Hi Community,Has anyone figured a way to hide the service charge box when adding an additional service product?We have the setting that ‘order requires a product’ however we are continuously needing to remind the team to ignore this first box and only use products. In our properties we never want to use this service charge box and hoping someone out here has found a way to hide this. Thanks!

Hi,Which report and where I could see last month booking engine booked RN and revenue (pref. net)?

I am curious about why it is not possible for guests to purchase upsells after they have checked in? I know they can do it as part of the checkin process in guest portal, but why can’t they do it after?For example, a guest forgot to add parking, then they later open guest portal again, they can read about the reservation that they already know about, but they cannot do anything with it, changes, adding products etc.So the result is that they need to contact the hotel via a message.I just wonder why this is? Is it designed that way on purpose?

Hello all!  We’re on our 3rd week with Mews, still trying to figure some stuff out 😄 If anyone knows, how do I modify a room rate on a reservation that is due to check out?  Any help will be greatly appreciated! 

Is it just me or does it take ages whenever you create a new company profile and want to add a routing rule until the company profile is found?
