💳 Introducing Zero Amount Authorization

A simpler, safer way to handle guest payments - before they arrive.

We know how challenging pre-arrival payments can be. Many hotels tell us they face the same issues:

  • Guests enter invalid cards, or don’t show up - leaving revenue unprotected.

  • Teams spend time chasing card details manually, instead of focusing on guests.

  • Deposit rules confuse travelers, creating friction and hurting the booking experience.

That’s why we’re introducing Zero Amount Authorization - a fast, guest-friendly way to automatically verify card details the moment a booking is made. No extra steps for your guests, no extra workload for your team.

⭐ What This Means for Your Hotel

  1. Protect Your Revenue
Only valid, authenticated cards are stored. This means fewer failed payments, fewer chargebacks, and better guarantee of funds.

  2. Save Time at the Front Desk
Your team no longer needs to manually check or chase card information. Everything is automatically validated in the background.
  3. Give Guests a Smoother Experience
With no deposits or additional steps during booking, guests enjoy a cleaner journey — helping increase both satisfaction and conversion.

Hi Mark,
That’s odd, I will sort that out. You can find our step by step guide on using zero amount authorizations here.
Let me know if you have any further questions!

Hi again and thanks, How strange, for my hotel I'don't seem to get the same avaliable options. For Payment I still get the 3 main options: Online Payment, Terminal and Payment request. No option for presuthorization. Is this feature activated for my hotel? Update: I was looking at the payment options from within the bill. In order to see the preauthorize option you aparently need to go to the payment tab and choose requests. This was not clear to me. So all good and thanks.

Hi Mark,

Yes, it should be activated! Navigate to the customer profile and click on the payments tab, click requests and you will see the collect payment method option.

Please note that you cannot do it via the billing screen.

Let me know if you are still having trouble seeing the option!
