Balance des folios hotello et MEWS

Bonjour, je fais ma première fin de mois avec MEWS et je me demandais ce qui est le mieux d’utiliser pour retrouver la balance des folios et des pré paiements qui étaient dans le rapport de fermeture de journée de Hotello?  Merci

One Page Booking Anbindung // Produkte

Hallo zusammen,vielleicht kann uns hier jemand weiterhelfen. Wir haben One Page Booking als neues Buchungssystem bei uns live gestellt. Allerdings wird bei der Übertragung das Frühstück immer doppelt gebucht. Der Gesamtpreis wird mit Frühstück dem Gast bestätigt und dann bei der Übertragung wird das Frühstück erneut auf- und von der Karte abgebucht. Habt ihr eine Idee woran das liegen könnte? Auch die Kinderpreise werden gar nicht übertragen. Habt ihr hier in der Standardrate bei den Kinderpreisen etwas hinterlegt? Wir haben bis jetzt immer nur über Preisanpassung und dann Zusatzbelegung gearbeitet. Danke schon mal!Viele Grüße, Paul

Raports statistiques par Tarif et par type de chambre

Bonjour, dans Hotello, nous utilisions à tous les jours les 2 rapports suivants : Statistiques par tarif de chambre journalier et Statistique par type de chambre. J’ai fouillé dans Mews et dans Mews Analyse et je n’ai pas trouvé.Nous voulons savoir combien de chambres ont été vendues par type de chambre et le revenu généré pour chaque type de chambre. Nous voulons aussi savoir le nombre de chambres vendues par tarif (et non le revenu).La seule chose que j’ai trouvé, c’est le revenu par type de chambre (Analyse de gestion : Revenue by space category), mais je n’ai pas le nombre de chambre pour chaque type de chambre, donc je ne peux pas trouver mon revenu moyen par type de chambre.Est-ce que quelqu’un a trouvé un moyen de sortir ces données?Merci beaucoup!

How to get a final invoice

When trying to download an unpaid invoice as a PDF, Mews only offers only the option to issue a proforma invoice. However, some companies cannot make payments based on a proforma invoice. How can I generate an invoice that is not proforma?

🔎Tips for transitioning to a self-service front office

Hey everyone!I'm looking for tips and tricks on transitioning from an old-school front office to a fully self-service front office with a front office host. Anyone with experience making this shift? What were the biggest challenges and how did you overcome them? Any advice or ideas are welcome!What we have already prepared:training for employees: the new service flow, basics of the new role and responsibilities of a front office host, tasks, etc.  2 pilot-hotels: 1 with Mews Kiosk and 1 with Duve  overview of needed renovations, hardware and software Some questions I have: which solution(s) (Kiosk and/or Guest Journey) do you use and why?  How did you help guests embrace this change? Hallo zusammen,wir nutzen den ‘Gäste im Haus’ Report immer für die Frühstücksliste.Und nun ist uns aufgefallen, dass dieser, trotz Auswahl ‘alle Produkte’, nicht alle Frühstücke anzeigt.Ging es ggf. euch auch schon so? Wie kann man das zuverlässig einstellen, dass wirklich alle Produkte angezeigt werden?Danke für Eure Hilfe.

Hat noch jemand Fehlermeldungen zu Booking und Mews

Breakfast Selection with Time Slot Option and Quantity Options in Mews Kiosk

Hey everyone,We’re facing an issue with the breakfast selection in the Mews Kiosk and are looking for a good solution.🍽️ Our breakfast options:Savory Sweet Kids' breakfastSince we offer plated breakfasts, it would be great if guests could select a time slot for their breakfast. Is there a way to integrate this into the Mews Kiosk? Or maybe a main breakfast category to make the selection clearer?🤔 The biggest issue: Quantity selectionRight now, guests can only choose “Breakfast for 1” or “Breakfast for 2.” This is inconvenient when guests in the same room want different breakfast types and quantities. Example:Room with 4 guests 2x savory breakfast + 2x sweet breakfastHowever, the kiosk doesn’t allow guests to specify the number of each breakfast type separately. This causes confusion and makes order processing more complicated.Question for you:How have you solved this? Does anybody know if there is a way of knowing future reservations have done the online check in?

Is there a way to check if guests with upcoming reservations have completed their online check-in directly within Mews, without having to export the reservation report to an Excel file? Ideally, I’d like to see this information in the system to streamline the arrival process. Any insights or best practices would be greatly appreciated!

Mews support plattform

Hey guys,Is Mews actually working on a platform for Mews support?We also use Mews Premium Support, and while I really like the support itself, the way tickets are handled is quite tough for me. There are so many emails that it’s really hard to go back to a support ticket and keep track of which ones are still open or have been closed.I think a platform for all tickets would really help to keep better track of things. Also, from Mews’ side, I’m pretty sure it would help with inquiries, as I’ve already had to ask the same question twice because of this issue.Maybe it even exists, and I’m just not aware of it.What are your experiences?

Adding Loyalty Information to the product checklist

hello together, we would love to welcome our loyalty member in a special way to our breakfast.As we are using the product list to check who has breakfast included, we would love to be able to add the colum “loyalty program” and/or “guest notes” to the checklist. I believe that this is an awesome step into the loyalty topic which MEWS is focussing more now as per the MEWS roadmap (2weeks ago).As well other PMS system do not have this feature I believe.Do others want/need this as well?

Report of consumed minibar

Good afternoon everybody,In our hotel, we have a minibar in each room, and to track what guests have consumed, we currently ask them during check-out. However, I was wondering if there might be a report that allows me to review what guests have taken from the minibar in one place. The data for this should be entered into MEWS OPS by our housekeeping team (though it might not be correct, as currently, housekeepers are entering this information in the note box at the bottom of their screen when changing the status from dirty to clean). Whats the idea with the Online-Checkout?

So mews sends an e-mail to the guests for the online checkout. The problem we have with that, is that the checkout is not available when there are active charges for multiple persons in an reservation … in these cases an error message is shown which asks guests to solve this at the reception.Only when all active charges are on the responsible person the online-checkout is available (i think). This is rarely the case, because Mews POS and other services we use, create charges on person level. When guests have spa treatments or order something in our shop, restaurant or bar it is very likely that charges are created in a way that make the online-checkin unavailable.What happens then for us, is that the guests flood our reception because of the message on the online-checkout.Does anyone have issues with this too? How do you handle that?It would be great to get feedback from Mews on this topic, as it seems like a bit of a logical error to me. What is the idea here? What is the reason that

Hallo zusammen,ich suche nach Erfahrungen im Einstellen der Kinderpreise auf der Direktschnittstelle Booking.com.Der ausgeworfene Preis bei Booking.com ist bei unserer aktuellen Einstellung immer zu hoch.Es wird der komplette Zimmerpreis pro zusätzlichem Kind addiertso dass aus einem Zimmer mit 100,00 für 2, bei zusätzlichen Kindern auf 300 Euro steigt. Beispiel1:Zimmertyp DZ+Einstellung Mews:Standardbelegung auf Zimmertyp 2 Pax (Kinderpreis bspw. 10 Euro)Alterskategorien in Mews und auf Schnittstelle im Marketplace stimmen mit Alterskategorien auf Booking.com überein. Einstellung Booking.com Variante 1:Festpreis für Kinder bspw. 10 Euro.Ergebnis: Pro Kind wird der Zimmerpreis zusätzlich aufgeschlagen Einstellung Booking.com Variante 2:Dann haben wir auf flexible Kinderpreise umgestellt und auf Mews Schnittstelle folgende Punkte aktiviert: Alterskategorie in Inventar benutzen und Alterskategorie in Reservierungen benutzen aktiviert.In den Einstellungen Booking.com erscheint nun folgend

MEWS Terminal pending invoice settlement issue "elaborating"

Hi to everyone!We just started using MEWS TERMINAL last week, and we’ve been experiencing an odd issue while settling pending invoices.When the payment fails, after being launched from the payment settling menu in the control panel, the transaction in mews says “elaborating”, and prevents us to do anything else with the unsettled invoice. the 3 dots menu goes blank and that’s it.How can we solve this issue? Apparently i haven’t found anything about it so ask for your help, fellas MEWSers! Thanks a lot in advance Cheers,Nicolò

Service set up by night or by the hour

Buchhaltungsbericht

Hallo liebe Community,ich bin auf der Suche nach einem Buchhaltungsbericht, der mir für ein bestimmtes Produkt den Namen und das Datum sortiert nach Datum anzeigt. Momentan kann ich nur entweder nach Name sortieren, dann fehlt das Datum, oder nach Datum sortieren, dann fehlt aber der Name des dazugehörigen Gastes.Es geht darum, die monatliche Abrechnung der Kurverwaltung für die Kurtaxe mit unseren tatsächlichen Buchungen der Kurtaxe abzugleichen. Die Rechnung der Kurverwaltung ist nach Anreisedatum sortiert und eben mit dem Namen versehen, genau so einen Bericht suche ich in Mews.Ich hoffe, dass mir jemand weiterhelfen kann, denn es ist wirklich mühsam und zeitaufwendig, jeden Gast manuell in Mews zu suchen, die Rechnung zu öffnen und dann zu vergleichen, ob alles passt.Ich bin Dankbar für jeden Vorschlag.

Expedia Einbelegungsrabatt

Hallo zusammen, ich verzweifle ein wenig an Expedia. Ich habe Raten für unsere Zimmer angelegt und wir haben pro Nacht Preise, heißt die Raten sind für Doppelbelegung ausgelegt. Im booking als auch im Mews selbst kann man diese Rate mit einem Rabatt versehen, wenn das Zimmer von einer Einzelperson gebucht wird. In Expedia habe ich diese Möglichkeit noch nicht gefunden und der Support ist einfach schlecht. Muss ich jetzt noch eine Rate für Einzelnutzung anlegen? Wenn ja, wo? Mews? Siteminder? externe Buchungskategorien

Bei der Abrechnung sind bei den "externen Zahlungen" verschiedene Möglichkeiten, wie Kreditkarte oder Überweisung, definiert.Ich habe bereits entsprechende Buchhaltungskategorien angelegt und diese mit den entsprechenden DATEV-Konten verknüpft.Wenn ich auf Buchhaltungskonfiguration - Buchhaltungskategorien gehe, dann habe ich dort keine Möglichkeit, etwas hinzuzufügen (Mews hatte mich dorthin geführt). ich bin Admin und verfüge über alle Rechte.Wo habe ich die Möglichkeit, weitere Zahlungsmethoden hinzuzufügen?

Goedemiddag allen, Een gast wou deze ochtend het bedrag naar boven afronden om ons een fooi te geven, maar we wisten niet hoe we dit konden doen. Je kan op de mews terminal ook de gast geen tip laten ingeven. Je zou in principe een hoger bedrag kunnen aanrekenen, maar dan sta je natuurlijk op ‘+20’ bv op je rekening...Iemand een best practice hiervoor? Groetjes uit het verre Ieper 😉
