Hallo zusammen,wir sind aktuell dringend auf der Suche nach einer Lösung, wie wir PayPal eigenständig in unsere Booking Engine integrieren können. Wir wissen, dass Mews schon länger versucht, PayPal zu integrieren, doch leider verlieren wir – wie viele andere Hoteliers in DE auch – sehr viele Conversions, weil Nutzer den Buchungsprozess abbrechen, sobald sie sehen, dass keine direkte PayPal-Zahlung in der Engine möglich ist.Hat jemand von euch bereits Erfahrungen mit einer individuellen oder API-basierten PayPal-Integration (z. B. ohne Plugin oder über eine Middleware wie n8n/Zapier) gemacht?Welche Stolpersteine oder Best Practices würdet ihr empfehlen – insbesondere im Hinblick auf den Checkout-Flow?Vielen Dank!

Buenos días, Estoy estudiando el analytics para saber si definitivamente merece la pena pagarlo o no.No encuentro en ninguna parte cómo ver las room nights y ADR acumulados. Es decir, si quiero saber a día de hoy (desde el 1 de enero 2025, por ejemplo) cuantas noches tengo vendidas para el 24 de diciembre de 2025 y a qué ADR medio se han vendido pero POR DÍA y acumulado. If I want to block out dates for certain room types, I need to create a restriction for each space category separately which is time consuming plus confusing as at some point you might delete a restriction and as there are so many, mistakes could be madeI have 8 roomtypes, and only want to sell 1 category during certain dates. That means I need to create 7 restrictions. it would be easier if we could select from the list on which categories it applies. At the moment this is not possible, you can only select 1  category (it’s one or all categories)

We gonna using the new mailing editor pretty soon, and with the merge-tags and conditions there are quite a few very powerful options to customize the mailings.We want to utilize the conditions and therefore my question is:Is there any kind of documentation about the available variables?With the prebuilt conditions i can see that there are different data objects like reservation or enterprise that contain multiple sub informations / properties accessed in the condition like enterprise.logo or reservation.nights. I haven’t found any information about these objects in the help articles so a way to check what variables can be used in there would be awesome.Maybe there is a console statement to log the information of these variables … something like this:console.log( mews.mailingeditor.variables)

Hi everyone,We’re currently exploring the implementation of self check-in at our hotel, but we’ve run into some challenges regarding group bookings.At the moment, when a guest who is part of a group tries to check in via self check-in, they can see all reservations under the same group. In addition, the first person who checks in is prompted to pay for the entire group reservation, which isn’t ideal for us.Since we often work with groups, this setup doesn’t fit well with our operations. We’d love to hear how other hotels handle this scenario: Do you have a specific process or workaround for group check-ins? Have you configured anything in Mews to separate or simplify individual check-ins within a group booking? Any best practices or lessons learned you could share? Thanks in advance for your insights!

Hello, we had the change for the E-Mail templates and need to create them completely new.But when we want du save and update them it never update.It shoul be updatetd after 1 hour. Hey guys, Im back back with my anual question! At the moment, when someone checks in via the portal, their reservation does not automatically get started on the day of arrival.Our third-party communication software now allows us to use the deep link for the Mews guest portal, so I’d like to switch to using the Mews guest portal instead.I need the possibility to automatically start all reservations where guests have checked in online at their check-in time. Since everything is prepaid at our properties, this wouldn’t be an issue.Is there a solution for this? That would be great!Cheers,Hendrik

We gonna use the new Mews mailing editor soon and there is one question i have:How do i copy contents from one mailing to another?Create the same contents over and over via the editor interface is extremely tedious so there has to be a way to copy these contents i guess … i’ve found a “import” menu point that is accessible via the three dots menu so maybe there is a way to import a template. Any infos on that?

It opens a file open dialog where .json files can be selected, but what kind of json files are supposed to be imported?I looked at the help file but found nothing explaining it. Vielleicht habe ich es nicht richtig verstanden: Preise und Restriktionen kann man für alle Zeiträume eingebenBuchbarkeit ist jedoch auf 365 Tage beschränkt Wie kann ich den Buchbarkeitszeitraum für uns intern und unserer Website öffnen? Oder müsste ich da mit anderen Raten arbeiten? Wir haben Gruppen, die teilweise 2 Jahre im Voraus buchen und können diese nicht eingeben. Welche Möglichkeit gibt es da?Danke für die Hilfe

Hallo zusammen,wir sind von HS3 zu Mews gewechselt. In HS3 haben wir mit sogenannten Dummy-Zimmern gearbeitet, um Gäste auf eine Warteliste zu setzen, wenn wir zum Zeitpunkt der Anfrage ausgebucht waren. Sobald ein Zimmer wieder frei wurde, konnten wir die jeweilige Person unkompliziert übernehmen.In Mews stoßen wir hier an Grenzen:Wenn wir zur internen Planung eine Überbuchung anlegen, lässt sich zwar die automatische Buchungsbestätigung unterdrücken, allerdings erhält der Gast dennoch im nächsten Schritt automatisch den Online-Check-in-Link und weitere Informationen. Das vermittelt schnell den Eindruck, dass das Zimmer bereits sicher sei, obwohl intern noch keine finale Zusage vorliegt.Dummy-Zimmer sind leider keine Option, da sie in allen Statistiken und in der Buchungsstrecke erscheinen, also weder intern noch extern geeignet.Wie geht ihr mit solchen Fällen um? Gibt es bei euch eine praxistaugliche Lösung, um Gäste intern als „Warteliste“ zu verwalten, ohne automatische Kommunikati

Hi everyone, My Team have noticed that when we look at a guest billing page and they have future reservations the bills do not display in chronological date order.A future stay for next year will sit above the stay for today and one for next week for example and it really confuses new hires. Also, why when we add a new product, it automatically makes a new bill now?This update is a wasting on our property and we waste a lot of time merging bills back together.Am I missing something?Does anyone have any tips on how to revert back to before the last update or to amend our property specifically? Any advice would be great. Thanks!

I am building a date-restricted bounceback offer for travel with arrival dates between06/28/24 - 06/30/24, minimum 2-night stay, with a specifically created voucher (FAREWELL) using specifically created rates (PRIDE 2024 BB). Our goal is to aggregate all services into a single unified search flow (cabins, apartments, hotels, across locations). We fetch metadata via configuration/get (list of Ids) and then call hotels/getAvailability for each ConfigurationId + HotelId + CategoryIds.  Hallo zusammen,  seit dem Tausch hin zu Mews im Februar diesen Jahres kämpfen wir sehr damit, dass bei Buchung einer Zusatztleistung auf unserer IBE die Preise vollkommen falsch gesplittet in Mews gebucht werden. Leider konnten die beiden Supportparteien bisher keine Lösung finden. Es scheint ein Problem zu sein, welches bei anderen Kunden nicht auftritt. Deshalb die Frage an die Community, ob jemand anfangs auch dieses Problem hatte und vllt. einen Tipp zur Einstellung hat. Beispiel 1: Gast bucht z.B. Zusatzleistung “Hund” in einem Zimmer innerhalb einer Buchung mit 3 Zimmern. Die Leistung wird in allen 3 Zimmern verbucht, der Preis ist in Summe korrekt, wird aber gesplittet auf alle Zimmer verbucht. Beispiel 2: Gast bucht für 2 Erwachsene das Genießerpaket (Kind für dieses Beispiel ignorieren, dass Kinderpreise nicht auf eigenen Altersstufen übertragen werden, ist eine bekannte andere Thematik)Preis in DirsGebucht wird in MewsBeispiel 3: Gast bucht VerwöhnpensionPreis in DirsIn Mews

Hallo zusammen, mich interessiert das Thema vorzeitiger Check-out. Ein Gast bleibt beispielsweise vom 19.10. bis 23.10. und hat seine Rechnung bereits beglichen. Am 22.10. teilt er mir mit, dass er um 18:00 Uhr abreisen wird und er ist einverstanden, dass ich 100% Stornogebühren berechne bzw dass er kein geld zurück kriegt. Wenn ich jedoch das Abreisedatum in den Eigenschaften ändere, werden mir Stornokosten gutgeschrieben, die ich ausgleichen muss. Das möchte ich aber vermeiden und keine Stornokosten im Bericht haben. Gibt es eine Möglichkeit, einen manuellen Check-out durchzuführen, ohne eine Gutschrift zu erstellen?

I'm wondering if there's a way to communicate during the booking or checkout process when we have an announcement specific to the stay date. For instance, if someone's reserving the night of December 31st we want them to know that there's a party for New Year's Eve (perhaps a ticket to an event would be included with the stay). We don't want to have to share this New Year’s Eve information with people booking other dates as it's not relevant to the vast majority of people looking to stay at the hotel.Does that functionality now exist and if not what’s the best alternative?

Alguno más tiene problemas para cargar los datos en Analytics? y por otro lado, aprovecho para preguntar si alguien sabe qué filtros hacer en el apartado analítica de gestión y en la pestaña “por día” para que sólo analice el revenue recibido por alojamiento, descartando otros productos.Por último, tenemos también problemas para conectar con analytics dos usuarios al mismo tiempo. Muchas gracias de antemano

Moin zusammen,wenn wir die Bestätigungen aus Mews per Email senden, dann werden diese ja nach 3 Monaten gelöscht. Entsprechend haben wir keine Übersicht, wann der Gast eine Bestätigung erhalten hat und was dort drin steht.Da wir sehr viele Gäste haben, die weit im voraus buchen, haben wir häufig das Thema.Mews hat da keine Lösung, auf Rückfrage hieß es nur, wir könnten ja eine neue Bestätigung erstellen. Was aber i.d.R. sinnlos ist, weil es um Rückfragen der Gäste zu Differenzen zwischen dem aktuellen Buchungsstand und der vermeintlich anderen Reservierungsbestätigung.Es kann ja auch sonst was geschehen sein. Manueller Fehler, der erste Preis wird im Aktionsprotokoll nicht getrackt und schon stehste da, usw.Wie löst Ihr diese Situation?Viele GrüßeLeif
