What report can i create in Mews that will give me an overview of No Shows like this ?

Audit Log per Employee

Basically I have an Employee X who created a Customer Profile at a certain date. Then changes to that profile has been done over a certain period of time. Then this profile was deleted from Mews, meaning that the customer profile does not exist, it was merged with another profile or deleted altogether.I want to find out that happened to that delete customer profile and what are the actions that were done by that employee on that profile. Knowing that the customer profile doesn’t exist anymore, I cannot go to the action log of that profile, neither do I have an action log for the employee X to know what that employee did. Action Log and Activity Report do not provide that information.Help.

Beherbungsstatistik

Hi :)es gibt ja leider (noch) keine direkte Schnittstelle zu eStatistik.core/IDEV um die Beherbungsstatik zu melden.Wie macht ihr das bisher? Ich habe es mit dem Reservierungsbericht und dann gruppiert nach Land des Gastes versucht. Leider wird da dann aber nicht die Anzahl an Personen zusammengezählt.. VG,Dennis

Kreditkarten Verifizierungen

Hi, bei uns kommt es leider sehr, sehr oft vor, dass die Kreditkarten von Gästen beim Online Check-in nicht verifiziert werden können und sie eine Fehlermeldung erhalten: online Check-in konnte nicht abgeschlossen werden. Die nötigen Daten werden allerdings an uns erfolgreich übermittelt (für den Meldeschein). Gast denket aber, dass nicht und ruft an oder sendet Email = viel Arbeit für uns. Außerdem stellen wir fest, dass 9 von 10 Reservierungshalter NICHT ihre Mitreisenden angeben - egal ob im selben Zimmer oder separates Zimmer. Umlaute gibt es noch nicht in Mews Kiosk - also kann Herr Müller nicht seine Buchung finden….Das Ganze scheint weit weg von effizient…. oder aber: ich bin weit weg, da ich vieles einfach noch nicht weiß? Gerne lerne ich dazu :-) Über Info würde ich mich sehr freuen. An dieser Stelle schon danke. Sandra Yaron

Seeking Best Practice for Inviting Guest Gratuities

In an effort to leverage the Guest Journey within Mews, I have updated our Checkout Invitation to include a note about adding gratuities as part of checking out online and added this to the ‘Rules’ for checking out online. I’m trying to determine whether there is a best practice for doing this already in use by other properties or if there are recommendations for how to improve the process I’ve created. Am I missing any other areas of communicating this within the Guest Journey? I am planning to add an in-room printed piece to the physical Guest experience, drawing attention primarily to the ability to checkout online the day before through the morning of departure and, as a ‘by the way’ mention, including a line about the Guest’s ability to express his/her appreciation for the service and hospitality they’ve experienced during their stay.Within Documents, there’s no option for Instructions, so I chose Rules and I believe this is visible to the Guest only in the Guest portal when compl

bulk updates Room status

Hey Community,  We are seeing a huge potenial in having bulk updates for the room status, we basically need it to be able to make sure guests dont check-in in to early without paying the early check-in fee but still give the oppertunity to have everything ready before coming to the hotel. We use the goki online check-in for that and if a room is on inspectedand the guest checks in the reservation starts automatically even before official check-in time.Idea is to make it possible to change all clean rooms automatically to inspected on a specific time. Does anyone know if this would be possible to build with zapier?   Best regardsHendrik

Baby in the room

Is it possible to create a field in a reservation to be able to add a baby in the room (0-2 years) 100% free of charge? If the reservation is booked as including breakfast rate and we want to add a baby we need to add a child but the will modify the including breakfast rate.

Dear Mews Community,I'm looking for a person who has more in-depth knowledge of Zapier. I would like to do some automation with the integration, but I haven't quite gotten through it yet. As an example, in addition to many other automation ideas, I would like to know if the following automation is feasible:I would like to generate a Google Sheet daily with all reservations in the house. I know there is the "Guests in the House" report within Mews, but I would prefer to map this via Zapier to bring the data directly into an appropriate format.Unfortunately, I couldn't find a pre-built trigger within Zapier for this. There is only the trigger for new reservations, but not for existing ones.Does anyone know whether this is may possible with Webhooks by Zapier for example?I would be very happy to have an exchange partner on this topic.Best regardsNiclas

Werden bei Euch die Support-Tickets zu früh geschlossen

Moin zusammen,Frage in die Runde: Immer mal wieder werden Tickets unvollständig bearbeitet oder völlig falsch verstanden. Das mag vielleicht am Übersetzungsprogramm liegen?!Und dann kommt die falsche Antwort am einzigen freien Tag und, zack, am nächsten Tag ist das Ticket geschlossen. Ist mir nicht nur einmal passiert.Habt ihr das auch? Oder erwerbe ich hier die Ausnahmen von der Regel?Viele GrüßeLeif

Hello, Just a small reach out to the Mews team. For external payments, the “Expiration date” is a non-mandatory field.The star seems to indicate that it is. Please remove the star.

Kiosk mit Straiv - Wie geht Buchung und Check in parallel?

folgende Fragestellung: unsere Gäste sollen künftig ihren Check in in einem separaten Raum mit dem Kiosksystem von Strive machen. Ein Mitarbeiter wird nicht mehr vor Ort sein.Der Check in funktioniert ja auch wunderbar. Aber wie funktioniert das, wenn der Gast erst vor Ort buchen möchte? Das iPad mit der App ist ja gesperrt, damit die Gäste nicht daran rumspielen können.ich meine, na klar kann der Gast das jetzt online über sein Smartphone machen aber das Risiko, dass er dafür dann wieder Booking und Co. benutzt, ist durchaus vorhanden.habt ihr eine Praktikable Lösung?Wir benutzen übrigens Kiosk von Mews nicht, weil die Gäste dort nicht die Firmendaten angeben können zumindest hat das bei mir im Selbstversuch nicht funktioniert

Hey,mir ist kürzlich aufgefallen, dass wir gar keine Stornobestätigungsmail von mews erhalten, wenn eine Buchung z.B. über booking.com storniert wurde. Die Buchung verschwindet einfach aus dem Kalender.Nach Rückfrage an den Support habe ich folgende Info bekommen:After investigating your case, Mews sends the Cancellation email only for reservations made via Mews Operations or the Mews Booking Engine. Wie handhabt ihr das? Man muss ja irgendwo nachvollziehen können, wann etwas storniert wurde, damit man entsprechend reagieren und ggf. Stornogebühren berechnen kann.VG,Dennis

Email-Vorlagen in anderen Sprachen nutzen

Moin zusammen,und ich dachte, es wäre so simpel. Einfach bei den Email-Vorlagen andere Sprache auswählen, Code einfügen und dann die Sprache beim Verschicken nutzen. Aber nix iss, kommt immer auf Deutsch an.Wo ist mein Denkfehler? Kann jemand helfen?Viele GrüßeLeif

Remove counter numbers from postings?

Hello everybody, does anybody have a clue if there is the possibility to remove the system integrated counter for postings? I.e. if we give out vouchers it says “Voucher 105 - Voucher Nr. 1234”Red is the number the counter in the system gives it and shows on the invoice, green is the internal voucher number. Is there any possibility to remove these? So that it only says “Voucher - Voucher Nr. 1234” Thank you kindly!

How to leave Tip at Check Out Kiosk

Hi everybody Is there an option to add a Tip during the Check Out Process on the MEWS Kiosk?Until now we just can add it to the minibar products, but as we do not have minibars in our rooms, it does not make a lot of sense there. Best practise would be to have a “add tip” section on the Mews Payment Terminal. Can this be done somehow? Thank you Dominik

HOW DO I BOOK A GROUP RETREAT

PHow do I book a group - i.e. a group of 20 corporate leaders where a contract would go to one person and the company would pay with one credit card for all the guests and the entire program etc. We plan on having a lot of group bookings at our venue (rather than just individual guest bookings for rooms) - for instance, small corporate retreats which will require room blocks.  Does Mews have the capabilities of sending quotes, contracts and invoices?  If not, will this be a feature in the near future? If not, is there a "work-around"? Does it also have the ability to create BEO's?

Moin zusammen,ich schon wieder. Habt Ihr Euch schon mal mit den Platzhaltern der Email auseinander gesetzt? Wenn ich dem Bucher eine Email schicke, kann ich den Gastnamen desjenigen der anreisen wird nicht per Platzhalter einfügen, richtig? Oder gibt es eine Möglichkeit?Viele GrüßeLeif

Umstellung des Paypemt

ich möchte künftig statt des Mews-Payment einen alternativen Anbieter wie Adyen oder Nexi nutzen. Leider kann ich hierfür keine Anwendung im Marketplace finden. Auch bei der Hilfe / Kontakt kann ich hierfür keine Lösung finden. Es wird vorgeschlagen, dass ich die Anwendung “'Mews Alternative Payment Methods” nutzen soll, die aber im Marketplace ebenfalls nicht zu finden ist.Hat jemand Erfahrung damit?

Notes

Hello Mewsers Just wondering if it is possible in anyway to have the notes coming from the channel manager to be all regarded as “General” notes instead of “Channel Manager” ones by Mews (see below)  It already does it for Expedia, but that is the only one...Is it a question of mapping between the OTA and the channel manager or between the CM and Mews? Only asking because it would be of great use to me as I’m using the Zapier integration to automate various tasks in regards of what is written in the “Notes” section of a new reservation. When it is a “General” note I can use it but I’can’t if it is a “CM” note… Maybe some of you knows how to get that setup @Mick maybe?...Or some Mews devs? Anyway, thanks in advance for your help and your time Regards Stephane

Service Promotion, multiple confirmations

Hi allIn one of my hotels we did a test with PARKING as bookable service, however we received complaints from guests about double confirmations.. if and when a guest is booking a secondary bookable service in the booking engine, the confirmation for both services is send separately. Obviously, the guest does not (need to) know that there is a bookable service behind it, but we now are discussing reverting back to using the PRODUCT.How do other hotels work with this service promotion connection between bookable services?
