registration form with company name

Hi, our guests often need their invoices issued in name of their company so it would be great if the guest could mention the company name and adress by online check-in. This way we can spare the guests from waiting by check-out because all needed datas are already filled. On weekdays with many guests checking out at the same time it is very irritating for these waiting in line just because we have to fill out the missing datas before we can issue the bill.Generally it would be helpful to print the registration form with the possibility to mention the company.

Fixe IP Adresse für MEWS, Keycutter und Lighspeed?

Hallo zusammen, Wir haben zur Zeit folgende Installationen:MEWS, Lightspeed soweit Dormakabe/Saflok Keycutter. Die Kreditkarten Terminals sind nicht mit Lighspeed und Mews direkt verlinkt. FRAGE: Benötigt es für dieses Setup zwingen eine fixe IP Adresse vom Internet Service Provider oderkönnen wir dies auch ohne laufen lassen?Danke um ein Feedback und Gruss Kevin

Preisableitung in Mews

Hallo liebe Community,bisher haben wir Hotellistat zur Preissteuerung genutzt. Das Tool bietet zwar viele großartige Funktionen, passte jedoch leider nicht optimal zu unserem Hotel. Daher haben wir uns entschieden, uns davon zu trennen.Nun stehen wir vor einer Herausforderung: Hotellistat hat alle Preise direkt überschrieben, wodurch sämtliche Ableitungen verloren gegangen sind. Aktuell haben wir in Mews die Room Only-Preise als Basispreises sowie die Zu- und Abschläge der Zimmerkategorien. Wenn wir jedoch die Room Only-Preise in Mews anpassen, werden die Zu- und Abschläge nicht mehr automatisch berücksichtigt, da Hotellistat die bisherigen Strukturen überschrieben hat.Hat jemand Erfahrung mit diesem Problem oder einen Tipp, wie wir das korrigieren können?Vielen Dank für eure Unterstützung!

Group check-in for 2 or more rooms

As soon as we have more than 1 room within the group, the check-in does not work. The guest fills in the form and the data cannot be submitted. This is very tedious and unprofessional, as everything has to be done twice. Is there a solution?We are in employee mode on a tablet.

Hallo zusammen,kann mir jemand erklären, wie der Identity Scanner aktiviert wird? Es kommt - obwohl ich mich an die Anleitung halte - immer die Meldung “Zugriff auf das Gerät nicht erlaubt”.Oder gibt es eine andere Möglichkeit, Ausweise in Mews einzulesen, z.B. durch externe Kartenleser?Hat hier jemand Erfahrung mit?

Hallo zusammen, für einen Kunden konfigurieren wir aktuell die Stornierungsbedingungen. Bei Gruppenbuchungen werden 3 Stornierungszeiträume eingetragen.Bei der Benamung der Stornierungsrichlinie bin ich mir unsicher, ob diese nachher ersichtlich ist auf der Gastrechnung oder die Benamung nur für internes dient.Vielen Dank! Hello everyone, we are currently configuring the cancellation policy for a customer. Änderung eines Übernachtungspreises

Hallo,weiß jemand von Euch, ob man eine geschlossene Rechnung hinsichtlich des Preises korrigieren kann?Nach Zusendung einer Rechnung haben wir 3 Tage später erst gemerkt, dass wir anstatt Übernachtung ohne Frühstück für 102,- €, Übernachtung mit Frühstück für 102,-€ abgerechnet haben. Zwar kann ich das Frühstück nachträglich, mit einer neu geöffneten Rechnung, rausstornieren, jedoch kann ich den Übernachtungspreis nicht nach oben korrigieren. kann man dies grundsätzlich nicht oder was muss ich da etwas beachten?Vielen Dank  Voraus!simone Strasser-Bumb

We’ve just started using Salto and the Mews Salto Integration and it works fine so far but there are two big questions for us:When the keys are programmed, the authorization automatically expires based on the departure time. Is there a way to adjust this? If we adjust the departure time in the service options, this time is automatically displayed, for example, in the guest portal. However, we want the time to be communicated, for example, departure at 7:00 p.m., but the keys are valid for a little longer, until 7:15 p.m. Same for earlier.   Currently, if you program a key for a room, it deactivates all the others. For example, a guest arrives and you program two keys. Later, they come back and want another one (e.g., for a child, or someone else coming into the room a day later). If I then program an additional key, all the others become invalid. That makes sense in principle, but it would be useful to be able to choose whether to program additional keys or replace the old ones. Is tha

City Ledger/Rechnungsverfolgung aktiviert in MEWS- nun stimmen die Datev Exporte nicht mehr

Hallo zusammen,wir haben seit kurzem City Ledger aktiviert und da man das dafür ja muss → Rechnungsverfolgung aktiviert. In MEWS auf Ops Seite sind wir sehr zufrieden damit, jedoch stimmt unser Datev Export jetzt nicht mehr und es kommt hier zu “Doppelbuchungen”.Das Team City Ledger bei MEWS was uns eigentlich angeboten hatte uns hier zu begleiten reagiert nun nicht auf unser Problem.Hat jemand von Euch Erfahrungen und kann uns helfen?Vielen Dank.Liebe GrüßeSabrinaEmiLu

Hi everyone,I need to regularly submit accommodation data to Statbel, the Belgian statistics office. For this, I need to export a list from Mews that includes the following information: Country of origin Check-out date Purpose of stay (e.g., tourism, business, etc.) Number of nights Number of guests Number of occupied rooms Does anyone know how I can generate or customize a report in Mews that includes all these fields? Ideally, the list should be exportable as a CSV or Excel file so it can be uploaded easily to the Statbel platform.Any tips, templates, or step-by-step instructions would be greatly appreciated.Thanks in advance!Ellen

Email Templates for bookers or for more then one room

Hi together,as nice as the new tool for the email templates is. How do I manage to display the services together with the prices per room in the email templates? Especially with confirmations for bookers and for several rooms, the email looks very bad. The services are listed per room and the prices are posted below all rooms and they are not linked to the rooms.The room rate is displayed as the average rate for all rooms. This is completely pointless.By the way, I do not unterstand, why the room rate is displayed as an average rate, however the services, like breakfast and parking are listed everey single day. Normaly this extras doesn´t change the price during a stay. Otherwise, a change of the roomrate is common.However, do you have a solution for displaying the prices per room?That would be nice. Best regardsLeif

Adding the billing adress during guest journey/Online Check in

Hi all, i am just wondering if there is no place where a guest can enter their billing/company Adress during the guest journey or online check in. We really need a solution in here for Online Check in /out Kiosk Booking EngineThe guest need to be able to add the company/billing adress in the check in process. This adress need to be added to the folio.  A idea to implent would be on the online check in page in the guest portal. So when the guest is selecting “Business” as purpose of Stay an additional area for Billing Adress is beeing shown:  What does other customer think aboout this and how do you deal with this [email protected] Is there anything planned yet from Mews or already available?  Linus

Age categories across Mews-Siteminder-Booking

Dear community,Can anyone help me out with setting up the age categories correctly? some Booking.com reservations end up with wrong age categories for teenagers.In Mews I have the following age categories:Adult Teenager (13-17 yo) Child (5-12 yo) Infant/Toddler (0-4 yo)These are (hopefully) correctly labeled to Siteminder via Mews marketplace → Age categories.In Booking.com I have 3 children age categories set up with the same intervals. However, when a reservation is made in Booking.com with a teenager, it ends up as a Child (5-12 yo) in Mews. Which setting am I missing?please advise, thank you!

Get Digital Key after online checkin

We recently started using Digital Key for Salto Space.Does anyone here know how a guest can get the Digital Key if they have not chosen it during online checkin?So for example, a guest has checked in online, but did not choose Digital Key. They then want to get a Digital Key later, how do they do this?Update: It seems to be that when a guest has also booked a promoted service during online checkin, in our case a parking spot, they are not offered a Digital Key for the room.

Managing No shows in Mews

Hello, I'm still quite new to using Mews, but I’ve noticed that it doesn’t seem possible to mark just the first night of a multi-night reservation as a no-show.This has been a bit frustrating, as it requires quite a bit of manual work to manage such cases. Do you have any recommendations or best practices for handling this?It might be something for the Mews team to consider improving in the future.

Moving a reservation to another space

Anyone have an easy answer on how to move a reservation in one space to another space.I have tried on Timeline and on Reservation screen. Keep getting error that space is unsuitable. Its not, its a 4 bedroom unit to a 4 bedroom unit .Maximum occupancy is same.The long way would be to cancel and rebook but not ideal. Thanks
