Hello zusammen,hat schon jemand eine Lösung für folgende Frage gefunden?:Wir verkaufen unsere Twinzimmer für 1 und 2 Personen, dafür haben wir auch einen Teil der Zimmer dieser Kategorie nur für 1 Person aufgebettet. Nun hätten wir gerne, dass die Reservierungen mit 1 Person auch zuerst diesen Zimmern zugeteilt werden. Das geben aber die Varianten der Mews Reservation Assigments nicht her (Top Down, Bottom Up, Random, Preffered space features).Wir werden jetzt vermutlich etagenweise die Zimmerbestückung machen und dann Top Down/Bottom Up nutzen aber hat noch jemand eine andere Idee?Vielen Dank 

Guten Morgen liebe Community.Wir haben heute in der Buchhaltungskonfiguration gesehen, dass dies wohl eine neue Option ist, die Adresse des Unternehmens zu platzieren.Leider “klebt dies sehr weit unten am Rand”, ist dies bei allen so?Weiters wäre die Frage, kann ich das Logo oben auf der Rechnung zentrieren?vielen Dank für eure Hilfe! 

Dear Mews Community, We are completely new to the community so, first I say Hello to everyone😁I asked myself if it was possible to somehow add colors / symbols / anything else to the reservation, so I can tell them all apart at one glance in the timeline. For example : all half-board packages one color / symbol, all accommodation only, and so on. So I can see immediately how many half board menu’s we have for today without having to click on each reservation?  Thank you in advance ! Best regards,Mia

Hello AllNeed your help in figuring out what filters to set to see what pricing changes were done by staff. I am trying to figure out if the staff changed the nightly rate from the system suggested price to something else. Also trying to figure out if the staff changed the product prices to something else. Trying to keep tabs on unauthorized discounts given by staff. This is messing up revenue budgeting and forecasts. It is not feasible to go through each reservation and see what rates they have been charged. So I am hoping that there is a filter - ANY FILTER in MEWS - that can track what pricing changes were done by staff and for which reservation. I tried various filter settings in Action Log, but no luck so far. I have a situation where I know staff changed the product and nightly rate pricing, but I cannot find that reservation using the Action Log report. Please help me figure this out.

Wir würden gerne bereits in der Abrechnung wie vorher auch (vor der Anreise) die Firma/Verknüpfung hinterlegen, finden jedoch bei manchen Rechnungen die entsprechenden Einstellungspunkte nicht.Handelt es sich hierbei um einen Bug oder ist diese Funktion nur bei bereits eingecheckten Gästen verfügbar? Es ist wichtig, dass diese Angaben auf jeder Rechnung erscheinen.Viele Grüße Mathias

Hi all, I can’t see any planned updates for this in the Mews app. I was wondering if anyone has ever suggested or voted for the option to check out guests directly through the app.Our housekeeping team needs to inspect rooms when guests don’t leave on time, and it would be ideal if they could check the guest out on the spot after confirming the room is empty.Has anyone looked into this or has any thoughts on it?

Good afternoon, We have a popular product (museum ticket) that can be pre-booked by the customer.However, for purchases as of April 2026, the price of the product increases drastically.Is it possible to have the product bookable at old price for stays until 31 March;and to have the product bookable at new price for stays from 1 April?If not, I’m afraid I’ll temporarily have to discontinue offering this product to the customer.

We would like to create an availability block that generally excludes certain days of the week.Specifically, we would like to block certain rooms for a company from Monday to Friday for the entire year, but automatically exclude weekends.Is there a way to set up such a recurring availability block in Mews without having to create individual availability blocks on a weekly basis?

HelloIt often happens in a busy city environment that we are left with just very few rooms on the day.  These rooms can be  snapped up at the same time by different OTA’s which leads to overbookings.Is it possible to block specific OTA’s for certain dates to book? I know i can add restrictions but these apply to all OTA’s. If I add a restriction to the OTA’s, no room will be sold and im left with unsold rooms , but if I have no restrictions, , it can lead to a book out. Catch 22 and far from ideal, but it would be so much easier if we would be able to keep a selected channel of selling us, so we can manage our availability much more efficiently  and maximize revenue

De esta forma Analytics vuelca datos erróneos - además, si la factura ya está cerrada, te genera una devolución y un nuevo cargo y sinceramente no es nada eficiente este aspecto. ¿alguien sabe alguna otra forma de cambiar a un cliente de habitación sin que esto suceda?-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------When splitting a reservation in order to move guests to another room, why does MEWS create a new reservation? This results in inaccurate data being reflected in Analytics. Moreover, if the invoice has already been closed, it generates a refund and a new charge, which is honestly quite inefficient.Does anyone know of an alternative way to change a guest’s room without this occurring?Kind regards,

Ther Restrictions part of Mews is very confusing. I have set up a minimum night stay of 2 nights for a certain period. Suddlenly, on the Mews Booking engine that minimum is not working. Getting one night reservations and losing money. Does anyone know how to fix this ?

Dabei haben wir jedoch folgendes Problem: Wir bieten Zimmer mit der Möglichkeit für Zustellbetten an, verfügen aber nur über eine begrenzte Anzahl dieser Betten – weniger, als es Zimmer gibt, in denen sie theoretisch angeboten werden können. Da Mews leider kein eigenes Inventory-Management für Zustellbetten besitzt, können wir deren Verfügbarkeit aktuell nicht zuverlässig steuern. Gibt es dafür eine Lösung

meine neu eingestellten Preise werden nicht angewandt, warum?

How do I create a restriction OR policy where by the MEWS system automatically closes my discounted rates once occupancy reaches a certain threshold. For instance, if I want my winter special rate to be automatically turned off when my occupancy reaches 60%. How do I that? The key is that it has to be automated within MEWS. I don’t want to have to go through the rates and mark them private.

Mein Ziel ist es, dass ein Gast, der einen Parkplatz oder eine Garage gebucht hat, auch Zugang zu dieser bekommt, wenn er eincheckt.Bisher habe ich das immer über Salto separat gemacht, aber kann man das auch direkt über Mews abwickeln? Ich hatte mir vorgestellt, einen Raum zu erstellen, den Aufenthalttyp auf "Parkplatz" zu setzen und die Kapazität beispielsweise auf 20 festzulegen.Macht jemand das überhaupt ? Wie habt ihr Garage gelöst ( schranke / tore usw ) 

Hello!  I would like to make it a bit more difficult for our receptionists to mark rooms as “inspected.” Occasionally, housekeeping is still cleaning when guests want to check in. This means that rooms are sometimes marked as “clean” but haven’t been inspected yet. In such cases, our reception colleagues should consult the housekeeping manager or check the room themselves before marking it as inspected.Currently, when checking in a guest, a box appears with the option “mark as inspected,”. We have noticed that some receptionists then mark these rooms through there as inspected, without actually checking the room. This creates confusion for both housekeeping and reception.Please note: I don’t want to prevent them from inspecting rooms and marking them as such in the system. I just want it to be less easy and not doable with a single click.

Anyone else getting non-stop e-mails from “Diamo”, a revenue management solution? We’ve had dozens emails from these guys so far, and they mention specifically that they work with Mews. Which makes me wonder, did Mews provide our email addresses to this company? Weirdly, they also seem to know how many rooms we have, which is not mentioned on our website. We’ve been getting the same emails for all our properties, and they all mention the room count.Perhaps Mews can look into how this dodgy company is able to send out spam using their name and data.  

Hi all,We currently spend alot of time allocating group rooms so they are all together on the same floor.With the current assignment settings of either top to bottom or vv. this does not allocate well enough as not every room type is located on each floor and groups usually book a range of space categories. Has anyone found an easy way to allocate large group bookings? Currently we must use 2 screens so we can view the group and the timeline.Would love if we could set automatic allocations based on segment and choose which floor number this begins from.Thanks for any suggestions.
