Hallo zusammen,wir hatten heute eine spontane Kassen Nachschau Prüfung durchs Finanzamt. Folgende Berichte werden nun verlangt für die BIZZON Kasse und MEWS:DSFinV-K-Datenexport TAR-Datenexport der TSEAußerdem benötigen wir noch die TSE Nummer. Ist dies die im Mrketplace?Hattet ihr das schon mal bzw. könnt ihr mir dazu helfen?Vielen Dank & Viele Grüße,Paul 

Hello, How can I have confirmation PDF to send to my clients? So far I can’t only download a pre invoice or a register document for the reception. And many of them wants the confirmation PDF without the rates, especially when it’s a Company booking or some agencies. Thank you!

The online check-in gets stuck for anyone who booked two rooms or more. We’ve had several guests reporting this, and have managed to recreate it ourselves too.Checkout a screen recording of the issue: hereA quick fix would be greatly appreciated 😊

Is there a way to make the notes in guest profiles more visible or to have like a pop up once you open a profile or reservation? I would love the pop ups so reservation agents don’t forget to look into the notes

Dear Mews freaks here,does anyone have the same problem as me? If there is a direct reservation from a customer or is a returning customer who has a credit card in his customer record an automatic mail is still sent to the customer to say that there is no credit card in the system for him even though he has given it on the phone. Is there any way to do this when a reservation is made for a returning customer that the credit card is automatically linked to the new reservation? And furthermore, when we are checking in a customer, Mews indicates that no pre-authorization was made for the reservation even though it is present in the system. Is there any way to avoid this. Hope someone can help me with this? Robin 

Hallo zusammen,Die Zwei-Faktor-Authentifizierung auf einem Android Phone funktioniert tadellos, doch nun erscheint keine Codes mehr von Mews. APP wurde mehrere male schon neu installiert, auf Mews wurde ein Zwei-Faktor-Authentifizierung Reset gemacht. Das Android Phone kann weiterhin von unserer Rezeptionistin nicht gebracht werden.Danke um jeglichen Hinweis.Besten Gruss Kevin

How can I add more custom payment types? E.g. for AIRBNB payouts (reservations fully paid by AIRBNB), what “payment type” can I use? I want to use “AIRBNB” as a payment type, but there is nothing similar.

Is iot correct that our corporate guests cannot cancel their reservation through the booking engine, even though the reservation is made through the booking engine ? 🤓

Hello, I want to build an availibilty calendar on my hotel website. For that I wanted to use the services/getAvailibilty API Route. Mews Support said to me that I need register a private integration in order to use it. But for that I would have to become a Mews Partner. Do have to that really just to use the API? Thanks.

Hallo zusammen, ich hoffe es geht euch gut? Wir arbeiten seit Juli mit Mews und kommen gerade an ein Buchalterisches Problem. Oder wir machen es zu einem was. Meine Erste frage ist, wie bucht die Communitiy die Kreditkarten au (wird das in Datev oder eine anderen Buchhaltungssoftware gemacht) ? Meine Zweite Frage ist, wie habt ihr sogenannte Reise Büro Kommissionen/ Provisionen angelegt? Ist das als Produkt oder Zahlungsart angelegt?  Um meine Frage einmal mit hintergrund wissen zu füllen, unser PMS war vorher Suite8 (Fidelio). Hier gab es verschieden Zahlungsarten welche wir auch difinieren konnten. Das PMS hatte eine eigene Buchhaltung funktion. (Debitoren Verwaltung und Ausbuchungsfunktion für Kreditkarten etc.) Das gibts bei Mews ja selber nicht. Und weil diese Frage bisher nicht aufkam und wir hier gerade nicht weiterkommen mein Post :)  Liebe grüße und eine angenehme Woche. Christian Jakobs 

Ist euch schonmal aufgefallen das Mews bzw. Stripe mit denen Mews die Zahlungen abwickelt nicht nur Kreditkarten tokenisiert, sondern unter Zahlungen auch Girokarten als tokenisierte Kreditkarten auftauchen … Hierzu haben wir vermehrt die Nachfragen von Gästen, da diese Pseudo-Kreditkarten wohl auch auf Rechnungen aufgeführt werden und die Nummern scheinbar nichts mit den Giro-Nummern zu tun haben … Die Gäste sind hier verwirrt und auch für uns macht das wenig Sinn.Wir hatten dies mal vor einigen Wochen bei Mews mal angesprochen und uns wurde bestätigt das dies komisch ist, aber mehr haben wir hierzu nicht.Weiß hier jemand mehr?

Hat jemand Erfahrung mit Anzahlungen sowie die dazugehörigen Anzahlungsverrechnungen und insbesondere die automatisierte Abwicklung dieser. Aufgabenstellung, wenn eine Buchung mit einer der jeweiligen Buchungskondition zugeordneten Anzahlungsregelung (100% / 50%) auf welchem Wege auch immer erfasst wird, sollte in der Reservierung die dazugehörige Anzahlungsanforderung automatisch erstellt werden. Ist eine automatisierte Abrechnung aufgrund fehlender Zahlkarte nicht möglich, sollte diese Anzahlung als offene Forderung stehen bleiben. Freue mich über Informationen und Erfahrungen

Hi hope someone can help.We are going to be updating our rates that are currently set up. When we include a New item, the old item is not deleted from a booking already in the system. This means we have to go into each individual booking and cancel the item we don’t want included anymore. Can anyone suggest another way to do this to make it easier?

Hi :)We want to offer our guest a 10% discount if they sign up for our newsletter.How can we do that ?If i make a voucher i Mews, they can use it many times. But i want the voucher to be valid for just one booking.

How do you handle guest profiles if they pass away? Is there a best practice?Unfortunately there is no classification for that right now which would make sense i guess. So right now we remove all mailing checkboxes (newsletter, postal) and add a guest notice.

Hi all, Is there anyone that really uses the Mews Analytics here?In my opinion it’s way to slow. Most of the time you have to made about 10min before all data is loaded.If you change one of the filters or want to dive deeper, it takes ages again to load… It's so bad, you often just get errors that data cannot be loaded due to a timeout. Who has time to wait so long if you just want to look something up quickly? Anyone here that has a different experience and is actually able to use this feature properly?

Folgendes ist passiert:Ich habe eine Rechnung ausgestellt, die an den Gast fakturiert wurde.Die Rechnung ist korrekt.Der Gast hat den richtigen Betrag an mich überweisen.Diesen Zahlungseingang auf unserem Bankkonto habe ich manuell unter Zahlungen zweimal eingegeben, sodass der Gast jetzt ein Guthaben auf seinem Konto hat, was aber nicht der Fall ist, da der Gast nur einmal bezahlt hat.Das System möchte jetzt eine Erstalltung für den Gast vornehmen.Ich habe aber nur eine Zahlung erhalten.Wie korrigiere ich die Eingabe meiner Zahlungseingabe. MIr werden keine 3 Punkte zur Korrektur angezeigt. Ich möchte die zweite eingabe löschen.Dann wäre mein Buchhaltung wieder tuti. Ich habe gerade einen Knoten wie ich das lösen soll.Mal eben unterbrochen und nicht aufgepasst… Jemand eine Idee?Liebe Grüße Simone

In looking for information on how to block a Guest in Mews, a page listing the classifications and their meanings was presented. The term “blacklist” is a derogatory term offensive individuals who identify as black, as also mentioned by one of my Staff members who is of African American descent. Respectfully, please remove this term throughout the Mews platform. Last year or earlier this year, I requested this to be changed in the classification drop-down menu and this was done. I expected that Mews would have searched the platform and changed this everywhere but this is another location where it has resurfaced.
