ich möchte künftig statt des Mews-Payment einen alternativen Anbieter wie Adyen oder Nexi nutzen. Leider kann ich hierfür keine Anwendung im Marketplace finden. Auch bei der Hilfe / Kontakt kann ich hierfür keine Lösung finden. Es wird vorgeschlagen, dass ich die Anwendung “'Mews Alternative Payment Methods” nutzen soll, die aber im Marketplace ebenfalls nicht zu finden ist.Hat jemand Erfahrung damit? 

Hello Mewsers Just wondering if it is possible in anyway to have the notes coming from the channel manager to be all regarded as “General” notes instead of “Channel Manager” ones by Mews (see below)  It already does it for Expedia, but that is the only one...Is it a question of mapping between the OTA and the channel manager or between the CM and Mews? Only asking because it would be of great use to me as I’m using the Zapier integration to automate various tasks in regards of what is written in the “Notes” section of a new reservation. When it is a “General” note I can use it but I’can’t if it is a “CM” note… Maybe some of you knows how to get that setup @Mick maybe?...Or some Mews devs? Anyway, thanks in advance for your help and your time Regards Stephane

Hi allIn one of my hotels we did a test with PARKING as bookable service, however we received complaints from guests about double confirmations.. if and when a guest is booking a secondary bookable service in the booking engine, the confirmation for both services is send separately. Obviously, the guest does not (need to) know that there is a bookable service behind it, but we now are discussing reverting back to using the PRODUCT.How do other hotels work with this service promotion connection between bookable services?

Hello Mews-ers, I tried to go live with my prices until October 2025.Until a month of two ago, there was no problem to push the inventory beyond 1 year in the future (eg. 13 months).Now it seems to be limited to 365 days in the future. Is this correct?

Hallo Zusammen, bei der Preisabfrage haben wir unterschiedliche Preise geladen.Einmal mit und einmal ohne Frühstück. Als primärer Preis wird die Rate ihne FS angezeigt. Frägt der Gsat nun nach dem Preis inkl. FS und ich wähle die Rate entsprechend inkl. FS aus, wird dies nicht addiert.Entweder wir rechnen es im Kopf aus oder fügen es über + hinzu, dann wird der Preis rechts im Reservierungsfeld inkl. FS angezeigt.Früher hat es den Preis inkl. noch direkt angezeigt. So ist es etwas umständlich. LGNina Atorf

HeyaI am wondering if anyone knows how to map connecting rooms in the Assa Abloy Vostio key cutter, such that the keys you punch out opens both rooms in a connecting room set-up.Example - Room 5 + 6 can be made to a connecting room “5+6”. Room “5+6” is the parent room for room 5 as well as room 6. When a client is staying in room 5 or room 6,  it is possible to punch individual keys for them. However when the reservation is assigned room “5+6” the key cutter cannot figure out how to make a key, which will access both room 5 & room 6.Thanks for your feedback.Nikolas

Hi !Our breakfast team is old fashioned and wants a printed list-paperversion of guests/rooms with and without breakfast. They do not want to work on a ipad/digital device. (because the risk of theft and messy fingers that can not be used on i digital device...) How do i find a list like this?Kindly advice!Thanks 

Has anyone found a good way to track anniversaries? We currently have been tracking birthdays in the guest profile, but it’d be amazing if we had a method of tracking anniversaries that would also alert us of upcoming milestones. Thanks!

So many of our fully paid bills are stuck in “Unpaid items / deposits” bills.It’s causes so many problems with delays on checkout, people not noticing the error and thinking they checked the person out when they didn’t. We have to go back and close so many bills after they have been checked out also.  Does anyone know if there is a simple solution to this, have we got something set up wrong?  Thanks! 

Hey Community!  Is anyone here that managed to have the bills automatically closed? For us this is still a manually taks we dont really need and takes time and effort. As a Hotels have already all the reservations prepaid and also F&B we dont charge on the profiles. Would be super nice if there is a feature that allows us to close the bill at a certain time bedore check-out.  If anyone here knows how to do that I would be super happy about some advice! Cheeeers 🙌🏻Hendrik

Does anyone use HJ for guest comms?

Dear Mews-users, The guests in house report has had an overhaul.Whilst it is still possible to consult the old lay-out, I notice it is no longer correct.The function I am missing in the new Guests in House report is two-fold.Most importantly: the lack of the option to print it.Less importantly: no totals of guests in house any longer.As to the last item, that is not a drama to me (although a step back from what it used to be).The lack of option to print is a major difficulty though.Any tips/hints on this?Thank you.

Is there any way to have reservations in timeline shown in colors so we can mark VIPs in a certain color for example or certain other signals that we want to be aware of important informations?

Hallo zusammen,aktuell nehmen wir bei check-in 100% Zahlung für die gebuchte Leistung, da wir mit Zahlung bei Abreise zu viele negative Erfahrungen gemacht haben und eine KK Garantie mittlerweile durch 2FA sinnlos ist.Ich plane nun, dank der einfachen Funktion bei Mews, auf Vorautorisierung umzustellen. Das würde natürlich helfen, auch einen Betrag zu Autorisieren für eventuell weiter Ausgaben während des Aufenthalts. Ketten machen das seit Jahren schon so. Mir stellen sich jetzt ein paar Fragen und ich hoffe, jemand hat da bereits mehr Erfahrungen am FO:Was macht ihr in den folgenden Fällen:Gast verfügt über keine CC/Debit Karte Gast hat bereits vorausgezahlt und gibt an, dass er keine weitere Leistung auf's Zimmer buchen wird, daher keine Vorautorisierung machen möchte. Gäste haben eine Kostenübernahme für zB Übernachtung+Frühstück. Macht ihr trotzdem eine Vorautorisierung?Laut Mews gibt es keine Möglichkeit einen “no post” einzustellen. A tricky thought…..For the Stay service, we can create a number of bookable services, which can be chosen when making a reservation. We can also create a multitude of different Booking engines.For each of these Booking engines, we can decide which rates we would ike to display, but the bookable services are generic.It would be great if we can assign bookable services to the desired Booking engine….Great ExampleFlowers are a bookable service, as is Breakfast.  The website booking engine displays both We also have a booking engine for our Corporate clients, which displays their corporate rate as well as our daily rate. However this booking engine also displays the 2 aforementioned bookable services. Now flowers are not something that a corporate client would like to have, but breakfast is and we could sell them a fixed price airport transfer, which we would not want to sell to the general public.How can we distinguish bookable service for each booking engine ?  

Hi, How do you do to send your invoice when you are not allowed to show the OTA commission ? For exemple AGODA / HOTELBEDS: For which we receive a debit card but only for the net amount. (Reservation amount - commission)While I am supposed to send an invoice for the total amount closed.How do you proceed?

Hello Mews Community! I am wondering if anyone knows how to manipulate the fields of the guest in house report to sort by date first? More specifically, the “Ordering” option. It seems crazy to me that this is not an option for filtering already. Has anyone else had this question?

Hi All,  Can you add any more learning paths anywhere? e.g. their is a F&B agent but cannot link a learning path to this person. either the F&B agent should be removed from roles or what learning path do we assign the F&B Agent Also where can i add more than one learning path? seems can only add 1 per user.
