Hallo zusammen,ich habe den Login einer Kollegin aus dem 2 Faktor als Ausnahme rausgenommen.Nun benötigt sie zwar keine Authentifizierung mehr, kann aber keine Gastnachrichten mehr versenden.In den Artikeln von Mews steht nirgends ein Hinweis dazu.Hat von euch schon jemand Erfahrung damit gemacht? Danke und liebe Grüße

Hi everyone,I'm trying to find a simple and effective way to digitally collect guest signatures for registration cards using a tablet or phone, without having to print and scan the documents.Currently, Mews sends the online check-in, and while many guests complete it, not all do. So when they arrive at reception, we scan their ID using the Mews scanner, which works great — but we quickly hit a wall:➡️ There’s no way to collect a digital signature.➡️ The only option is to print the registration card and scan it again with the signature.Honestly, I’m surprised that Mews hasn’t built a simple solution for this yet.And for those about to say "Mews Kiosk" — I get it, but not all hotels can afford the upgrade to that level. What would be great is something similar to the ID scanner tool, which opens the camera — but in this case, a feature that activates a signature pad on a tablet or the Mews terminal, where the guest can sign with their finger.Does anyone know of a workaround or third-part

Hallo zusammen,bei den flexiblen Tarifen bitten wir unsere Gäste immer um eine CC zur Garantie.Es geht ja nicht um die Zahlungsabwicklung (Zahlungsaufforderung in Mews) sondern nur um die Garantie. Leider haben wir noch keine clevere Lösung dafür gefunden, außer ein PDF zum Ausfüllen.Habt ihr Praxistipps, ohne dass Dokumente ausgefüllt und verschickt werden müssen?Danke für eure Ideen.

Hello all! We are facing a problem with our packages on our own website.As I have understood, it is not possible to connect a “book now button” with 1 specific rate. Before we had this option as this is more easy for our guest to book directly, however the Mews Booking Engine does not allow us to do so. The guests have to set the dates twice and even after clicking our package, the guest still has no access to the direct overview of the specific package, but an overview of all rates including the rates which are not packages. Do you experience the same issue? And how did you solve this in order to make it more easy and faster for the guest to book a Package on your own website with the Mews Booking Engine? We look forward to hearing from you practices. Have a nice day! Kind regards, Xiaohui Hu

Estaría bien que la estancia mínima se pudiera gestionar día a día y de forma individual desde desde el apartado de gestión de tarifas, de la misma forma en que se puede hacer con los precios, que se puede modificar día a día de forma individualizada. Esto haría el trabajo más fluido y sencillo, ya que el apartado de “Restricciones” es algo engorroso y, a mi modo de ver, ineficiente.  

Buenos días;La herramienta “Guest Experience” me parece muy interesante, sin embargo, creo que existen puntos en los que podría mejorar bastante el funcionamiento de la misma.La personalización las plantillas de experiencia del huésped es una buena mejora, sin embargo, creo que sería interesante poder añadir enlaces directos al “Checkin online” y la “Plataforma de huésped” para que éstos sean visibles desde los sistemas de mensajería de OTAs como Booking o Expedia, al igual que MEWS genera automáticamente el nombre o el día de check-in, tarifa, etc. estaría bien que generara dichos enlaces para poder copiar/pegar o añadir de forma automatizada..Entiendo que lo importante es que sean “bonitos” para quién los reciba por email, pero para quiénes reservan a través de Booking y gestionan toda su reserva a través de su aplicación es bastante confuso, y eso, al menos a nosotros, nos genera bastantes problemas ya que el % de reservas que recibimos desde esta plataforma, desgraciadamente, es mu

Moin zusammen,wir haben seit einigen Wochen immer mehr Probleme mit der POS. Die Bons werden nicht gedruckt und Rechnungen können garnicht gedruckt werden. Das ganze ist aber sehr willkürlich… manchmal funktioniert es, manchmal nur ein Drucker, manchmal kein Drucker. Hat jemand ähnliche Probleme oder eine Lösungsidee?

One breakfast is covered by the guest’s company, and the second breakfast (for the accompanying person) is to be paid directly by the guest. Hallo in die Runde,habt ihr ggf. eine Möglichkeit gefunden, alle erstellten Rechnungen mit einem Klick als pdf runterzuladen oder alle erstellten Rechnungen pro Monat in einem pdf zu erstellen.Unsere Buchhaltung benötigt die Gastrechnungen als pdf und wir haben für den Januar versäumt, diese beim Druck direkt abzulegen.Jetzt stellt sich mir die Frage, ob ich alle Rechnungen nochmal einzeln öffnen und speichern muss oder ob es eine einfachere Alternative gibt.Viele Grüße aus HessenClaudia

Moin aus Hamburg,im Rahmen der Kassenanmeldung beim Finanzamt, checken wir gerade, ob alle benötigten Daten für eine mögliche Steuerprüfung vorliegend sind. Dabei kamen wir auf das Thema “Verfahrensdokumentation/Betriebsanleitung”.Sowohl Support als auch meine Product Managerin haben mich auf das Help Desk verwiesen, was aber nicht ausreichend ist, falls es zu einer Steuerprüfung/Kassennachschau kommt.Nach einigem hin und her kam raus, dass sie noch nie etwas davon gehört haben und ich die erste bin, die sich bezüglich dieses Themas an sie wendet. ...das kann ich mir aber so gar nicht vorstellen.Also: habt ihr eine Verfahrensdokumentation/Betriebsanleitung vom PMS/POS vorliegen? Hallo zusammen,Wir sind bei VAYA noch nicht so lange mit Mews live und erhalten nun von verschiedenen Rezeptionen Feedback bezüglich des Online-Check-ins. Wir sind in Tirol und im Salzburgerland tätig und haben hier regelmäßig mit Meldeschein-Kontrollen zu tun.Wir würden gerne wissen, wie ihr mit den folgenden Punkten umgeht: Beim Online-Check-in wird keine Unterschrift der Begleitpersonen verlangt, diese fehlt dann auf dem Meldeschein. Beim Check-in am Tablet wird sofort die Rechnung angezeigt, da laut Mews alle Daten bereits beim Online-Check-in eingegeben wurden. Wie kann der Meldeschein der Begleitpersonen dennoch unterschrieben werden? Wenn man beim Ausfüllen der Daten für die zweite Person das Land in der Adresszeile auswählen möchte, friert manchmal die gesamte Webseite ein und der Check-in kann nicht abgeschlossen werden. Hi everyone,I’m hoping somebody has cracked what feels like a very typical family scenario in Mews Distributor.Our one-bedroom apartments are limited to two adults. Many guests, however, travel with a baby or toddler who sleeps in the parents’ bed. In an ideal world the booking widget would let them add a 0–3 year-old and still show the apartment. Right now, the moment a child is added Mews counts it as a full extra guest, so the system insists on a three-person (or two-bedroom) unit—hardly family-friendly.What we‘re aiming for Widget shows pickers for adults and a “0-3 yrs” band. Guests can choose 2 adults + 1 infant/toddler and the two-person apartment remains available. We don’t have to raise the apartment’s base capacity (keeps OTA inventory clean). I’ve tried every combination of extra capacity, age categories and restrictions I can think of, but either the child still bumps the capacity or the room vanishes altogether.One more thing I foundI came across a year-old blog post t

Specifically, for the stay from June 17th to 19th, we need to allocate and split the amount of CHF 905.05 by credit card, so it matches the invoice exactly. Hallo zusammen,vielleicht könnt ihr uns hier schnell helfen.Wir haben immer wieder das Problem bei Frühanreisen, dass diese nur einchecken können wenn die Early Check.in Gebühr von 30 EUR akzeptiert wird, dies wollen wir aber nicht immer.Wir haben dieses Produkt bereits auf nicht mehr buchbar von Gästen und Mitarbeitern gesetzt, die Frage kommt aber immer noch… speziell vor 10 Uhr.Danke für die Hilfe.
