Hello,Does anyone know how we can change the VAT rate for the "Day/Night" product in a Bookable Service?Currently, we have two bookable services: a "stay" service and a "meeting" service.Room accommodation should be taxed at 7% VAT, while meeting room rental should be taxed at 19% VAT.However, both are currently set to 7%, and I haven't been able to find where to change this. Any help would be appreciated.Thank you!

Is anyone else facing problems with sending before start/before start reminders to booking.com guest?We are pushing very hard to get our guest so check-in online, however I see that booking.com is not accually forwarding these emails to the guest. In MEWS it shows as sendt.  I have tried to make a booking myself at booking.com and it is not working. I tried to remove the Sigin box, in the email templets, with just a link however it is still not working. Funny thing is that when I send the bill it has acually worked.  Does anyone know how to fix this?

Hello dear Mews Community! We have changed our tax advisor. Until now, we worked with a physical folder, and 7 pages of the Mews accounting report were manually recorded. Now, we are transitioning to a digital exchange with a digitally equipped tax advisor. Are there any comparable hotels that digitally transfer their Mews accounting reports to their tax advisor? If so, what experiences have you had, and how do you work with Excel exports or connections from Mews to DATEV Unternehmen Online via OmniBoost? I would appreciate specific feedback. Looking forward to your insights! 

Hi, Today a guest pointed out that our booking module does not save the guest changes. So when you first select a date range with 2 adults and then view the rooms and select a room and add a child it does not save it and the booking is made only for 2 adults.  I made a screen recording wish might explain it more clearly:  

Is anyone working with the combination MEWS - Booking.com - Vostio Digital Key?We've been experiencing issues from the very beginning, and so far, no one seems able to provide a solid solution.When a guest makes a reservation through Booking.com, they automatically receive a message from MEWS prompting them to check in online and create a digital key. Most guests are able to complete the online check-in, but then they don’t see the option to generate a digital key. In cases where guests do manage to create the key, it often doesn’t work upon arrival.In general, we’re also having ongoing issues with the functionality of the digital keys. The doors don’t open on the first attempts, and after multiple tries, it might eventually work.Is there anyone else who has experienced similar issues or has found a reliable way to resolve them?

Moin, kurze Frage in die Runde: Unser Steuerberater benutzt kein Datev, daher benötigt er die historischen Monatsangaben in Form von Exportfiles. Bevor wir jetzt sämtliche Filterstellungen durchgehen und testen….welche Reports nutzt ihr und vor allem mit welchen Filterstellungen? Gibt es vielleicht bereits eine best practice für die Bereitstellungen von Daten für Steuerberater?

Can anyone clarify whether revenue from availability blocks is reflected in Mews Manager Analytics, particularly in cases where none of the blocked availability has been picked up? I had understood that it wouldn’t be included until converted into actual bookings, but I’ve noticed no revenue increase even after the block was released and the spaces were booked.

Hello community, does anyone have experience sharing the check-in URL? We need to send through a MEWS partner and also manually the URL that MEWS generates for each guest to iniciate the online check-in process.Also, I take this opportunity to ask if this is feasible, maybe MEWS has not developed this possibility yet or prohibits it for some reason. Any information on this topic, will be appreciated. Regards, Nicolas.

Hello Community,Are you also experiencing issues with Mews not being able to send products with the charging type set to “once” in your channel manager connection?We sometimes offer packages that include products meant to be charged only once, but we’re unable to transmit these through the CHM connection.Additionally, since our CRS only allows us to send full ARI (Availability, Rates, Inventory) - and not partial data - we can’t let partners set prices on their side while we only send availability and inventory.This limitation is significantly restricting our ability to participate in certain campaigns. Has anyone else encountered the same challenge and found a feasible solution or workaround within Mews? Thanks in advance!

Hello!I´m encountering the following problem. Most of our rates are linked to our Rack rate, hence it is the one I adjust based on occupancy. For this I usually use the occupancy chart which is directly available within the rate, for convinience purposes and to avoid having to switch between several windows.However, we do also work quite a lot with availability blocks for our group requests, also using the “optional/tentative” option for these groups. Hence, it does happen that certain room categories have a very low availability, because optional groups take over the capacity, however the occupancy shown in the rate window is still low because the group is optional and not definite. Would it be possible to include a tab in the rate window, that you can decide whether or not it shows the occupancy including optional bookings? This would be very helpful for us!Or did anyone else find a better solution? As said, we want to avoid have to constantly switch between windows.Thanks a lot!Joan

Hi everybody,I might need your help again with rate management — maybe there's a workaround I’m not aware of.🛏️ For example:We usually charge an additional €100 per night for a suite.In high season, this increases to €200 per night.📅 Current issue:Right now, I have to update this manually every day, because: The €100 is set as an add-on linked to the room category, while The €200 needs to be manually adjusted in the daily rate during the high season. 🤔 My question:Is there a way to apply the €200 add-on only for a specific time frame,without affecting the original €100 setup for other dates?Any tips or workarounds would be greatly appreciated!Thanks in advance 🙏

Gerade habe ich einen Newsletter erhalten, aus dem er vorgeht, dass wir ab dem 30. Juni für alle Gäste mit einer Rechnung über 250 € deren Steuernummer erfassen müssen.Ist das nur unklar formuliert oder sollen wir jetzt tatsächlich auch von Privatgästen eine Steuernummer abfragen?Vielleicht ein Hinweis an das Redaktionsteam, dass so etwas eindeutig formuliert wird

I would like to adjust the email templates. Only when I look at the help article does it seem that adjusting the templates has had an update. I can only adjust the templates by changing the text; adjusting a layout does not work.Does anyone have any idea how I can also use the new feature?

Hello, We use MEWS Kiosk check-in and I would like to offer lunch as an add on service to our guests during check-in process but it’s only available Monday - Friday. How do I do this in MEWS? I dont know where to start. Can someone please help? Much appreciated. RegardsRazi

Hallo zusammen,wir haben aktuell ein Problem mit den E-Mail-Templates in Bezug auf die Spracheinstellungen. Obwohl wir alle Mails in drei Sprachen hinterlegt haben (Deutsch, Englisch und Englisch (USA)), werden derzeit ausschließlich die deutschen Versionen versendet – selbst wenn die Nationalität oder Sprache des Empfängers angepasst wurde.Hat jemand von euch eine Idee, woran das liegen könnte?Vielen Dank im Voraus!Beste GrüßeMathias
