Trinkgeld BIZZON Kasse

Hallo zusammen,wir nutzen seit Montag BIZZON für unser Restaurant. Allerdings stellte sich uns gestern die Frage wie das mit dem Trinkgeld funktioniert, welches per Karte gezahlt wird. Bei unserer vorherigen Kasse war es immer so, dass das Trinkgeld der Karten vom Barumsatz direkt abgezogen wurde und wir den Betrag somit direkt an die Mitarbeiter abgeben konnten. Bei BIZZON scheint das Trinkgeld aber so nicht auf, also im Barumsatz sondern separat. Mich würde nun interessieren wie ihr das handhabt, damit dieses Kartentrinkgeld auch ausgezahlt werden kann. Danke euch! Viele Grüße,Paul

Hi Everyone, I have a general question about guests who book prepaid reservations through online travel agencies . Do you ask them for a credit card when they check in to cover any extra expenses? How do you best handle this? thank you Manpreet

Hi,wir haben derzeit neben Bezahlung vor Ort virtuelle Kreditkarten bei booking.com für online bezahlte Buchungen bei booking.com aktiviert.Da die Gebühren von mews für diese Art von Karten sehr hoch sind (tokenizen Gebühr + Kommission für Commercial Cards), sind wir am evaluieren, auf das Modell der gesammelten Überweisung von booking.com umzusteigen (1,2% Gebühr). Leider lässt sich das im Zweifel nicht mehr rückgängig machen, weshalb es gut überlegt sein muss :)Daher wollte ich fragen, ob das schon jemand am laufen hat und wie ihr das dann mit den Rechnungen, Zahlungszuordnungen und der Buchhaltung handhabt?VGDennis

Facturation des clients récurrents

Bonjour, Nous avons de la difficulté à bien gérer les paiements des clients qui ont plusieurs séjours à venir avec nous. Lorsque nous cliquons sur ‘’Facturation’’, peu importe par quel raccourci nous passons, toutes les réservations du client apparaissent dans une même facture et ce, même si nous choisissons de les grouper par réservation. Dans l’exemple ci-dessous, les réservations ont été faites à des moments différents pour des arrivées à des dates différentes (pas dans le même ‘’groupe’’). Si nous ne portons pas attention, nous risquons de facturer le client pour toutes ses réservations même si le paiement n’est pas encore dû.Est-ce qu’il y a un moyen de faire en sorte que les réservations différentes soient dans des factures différentes ? Nos tarifs sont configurés en fonction de notre politique de paiement (7 jours avant l’arrivée), cependant, on pourrait croire avec cette vue que le paiement total est dû maintenant. Nous aimerions pouvoir voir uniquement les montants dus pour un

Hallo liebe Community,Wir haben festgestellt, dass bei Gästen die den Online Check-out nutzen, die Firmenadresse nicht auf die Rechnung übernommen wird, obwohl diese bei Check-in dort schon hinterlegt wurde. Am Ende bleibt dann auch eine leere Rechnung mit der Firma drauf im Billing zurück:  Ist da bei uns eine Einstellung falsch oder ist das ein generelles Problem? Lieben Gruß, Lena

Access to the default mail template translations?

When customizing the templates - I do only see the default template in my own language - I can not choose the default translations of the same template - that would make it much easier to customize the other languages too. My workaround is in the moment to filter the already sent mails to my guests and I get the defaults from the other languages from there - but find it strange that it is not possible to access these translations from the customizing menu.Best regards,Karo

Should we disable 'Google Hotel Search' from the Marketplace?

Good morning, Referring to the message of Google discontinuing its Google Hotel Search integration with Mews, should we disable it in the Market Place?(I think mainly of Inventory Update errors once the integration goes down)Whilst the measure would come into effect on July 1st, I see it’s still a functioning integration at this time.I won’t complain :-)

Meldescheinnummer

Hallo alle zusammen! Wir haben in unserem Hotel gerade auf Mews umgestellt. Wir sind sehr zufrieden, aber es gibt noch einige Unklarheiten mit unseren Meldezetteln. Laut der TVB hier in Achenkirch muss die Meldezettelnummer auf dem unterschriebenen Meldezettel angegeben sein, und wir müssen diese Meldezettel 7 Jahre lang aufbewahren. Wie gehen andere Hotels in Österreich damit um? Denn diese Meldezettelnummer aus Feratel wird nicht in Mews übertragen. Die Lösung, die der TVB derzeit vorschlägt, ist, alle Meldezettel aus Mews auszudrucken und die Nummer von Hand darauf zu schreiben, aber wir möchten gerade weg vom Drucken und manuellen Schritten. Hat ein anderer österreichischer Mews-Nutzer damit Erfahrung?Vielen lieben Dank!Liebe Grüße, Judith    4o

Welches Kiosk-System?

Wir bekommen in Kürze unsere neue Schließanlage und werden dazu auch ein Kiosk-System anbieten.Mich interessiert, mit welchem System ihr die besten Erfahrungen gemacht habt? Das von Mews oder gibt es andere, sehr gute (und vielleicht nicht ganz so teure) Systeme? Unsere Gäste müssen damit sowohl den Checkinn machen als auch Zahlungen vornehmen und Zimmerkarten programmieren.Danke für Eure Hilfe!

Booking.com blocking emails - Before start Online check-in

Is anyone else facing problems with sending before start/before start reminders to booking.com guest?We are pushing very hard to get our guest so check-in online, however I see that booking.com is not accually forwarding these emails to the guest. In MEWS it shows as sendt.  I have tried to make a booking myself at booking.com and it is not working. I tried to remove the Sigin box, in the email templets, with just a link however it is still not working. Funny thing is that when I send the bill it has acually worked.  Does anyone know how to fix this?

Reservation with an unused (first) night? (bookings with early arrival the following day)

Good afternoon, We sometimes have the following situation - the example of which is fictional.A guest makes a booking from 15 August until 19 August (4 nights).However, he will not stay on the first night.He booked the night of 15 August merely to guarantee an early check-in on 16 August.In essence, the guest will stay for 3 nights. What would be best in this case? [Especially the consideration of city tax plays here (as the guest did not spend the first night, it is not due for the first night)]1) split the reservation and cancel the first night with 100% cancellation cost?2) keep the reservation entirely but manually remove one city tax (mentioning this on the invoice for authority control purposes)3) another solution altogetherThank you for shedding your light on this.

Allo, suis-je la seule à chercher mes factures une fois qu’elles sont en compte débiteur ?Exemple, un client me paie et inscrit les numéros de confirmation plutôt que le numéro de facture débiteur ??? Je la trouve la réservation, mais je n’ai pas accès à la facture. Avez-vous un moyen qui pourrais m’aider svp ?

Multiple overnight reservations but no email to notify me the reservation is to be processed

[SOLVED]Morning, We’ve received multiple OTA reservations overnight. These have been correctly loaded into the system. However, the accompanying email from noreply@mews , notifying us to process the reservation/order, has not come through. Any issues going on in this respect currently? Thnx, PHman88

Routing Rules to Customers

Is there a way to create a routing rule to a customer account? We have availability blocks with Customer Profiles that are set up at Paymasters for groups. We currently route the room, tax, and other fees to these paymasters based on the group contract. We would love to avoid this manual process. I think I am only seeing the option to create a routing rule to companies or TA’s. This is great for any group that pays via wire transfer but does not help if they pay via CC (80% of groups pay cc). Anyway around this?

Hi Community, We just noticed that some of the google tag events being passed from our Mews Booking Engine installed on our website are not complete: For example:Name and Phone of the person booking the reservation Number of nights reserved “view_item_list” even used for multiple eventsIs there any documentation that explains how Mews sends the google tag events. And if it is possible for us to customize the events that are being sent by the booking engine?

Dashboard - mehrere Services

Hallo liebe Mews Community, wir haben innerhalb eines Mews Accounts mehrere Services angelegt. In konkreten Fall geht es um einen Service “Übernachtung” in welchem alle Individualbuchungen gebucht werden. Der zweite Service ist für “Gruppen” angelegt. Nun haben wir leider das Problem, dass alle Kennzahlen auf dem Dashboard, im Berichtswesen und in der Zeitachse immer nur den gewählten Service anzeigen. Äußert schwierig, wenn so zum Beispiel auf den ersten Blick nur die Anreisen aus einem Service, Auslastung etc. sichtbar sind. Permanentes switchen und addieren ist unpraktisch. Dies zieht sich durch bis z.B. in die Preisgestaltung, da auch hier nur die Belegung aus dem einen gewählten Service angezeigt wird. Im Berichtswesen gegenchecken hilft leider auch nicht, da bei Auswahl beider Services auch die Verfügbarkeit gedoppelt wird. Das schöne Dashboard soll besonders in der operativen weiterhin auf einen Blick die Kennzahlen kombiniert aus beiden Services zeigen. Der bisher einzige Punkt

Incorrect nationality & address for Expedia bookings with STAAH channel manager

If you use the STAAH channel manager with Mews, do you find that guests from Expedia bookings always have their nationality set as USA and their address set as the Expedia headquarters address?
