Anyone else getting non-stop e-mails from “Diamo”, a revenue management solution? We’ve had dozens emails from these guys so far, and they mention specifically that they work with Mews.

Which makes me wonder, did Mews provide our email addresses to this company? Weirdly, they also seem to know how many rooms we have, which is not mentioned on our website. We’ve been getting the same emails for all our properties, and they all mention the room count.

Perhaps Mews can look into how this dodgy company is able to send out spam using their name and data.

Eeesh, this is likely farming and seems very AI generated - the chances are they found your direct booking link is using mews and then pulled information from crawling that, or crawled an OTA to find how many rooms; AI can find number of rooms easily if you ask it to 😶.

Mews are very tight on their data and security of information and wouldn’t sell on details of emails to people. Definitely to me this smacks of AI being told to find what PMS a list of hotels are using (it crawls website and booking engine to determine platform and stats) and then emailing relentlessly.

I think I would block their whole domain at my email provider if they keep sending emails like that.

Yeah, it’s so incredibly annoying!

Hi @andreas
@MattJones is correct - AI can obtain this information (that you’re using Mews) through the direct booking link on your site. Mews wouldn’t share any details of your property with any unauthorised third party.
As suggested, block this domain on your email server.

Thanks for asking the question - you’re right to be cautious.
