Hello everyone,

I’m looking to configure Mews so that confirmation emails are only sent for direct bookings (Website) and not for OTA bookings via Booking.com. Out of the box, Mews sends a confirmation email for every new reservation, regardless of the channel. Right?

Questions:

  • Has anyone implemented a similar setup?

  • Are there any official best practices or Mews-recommended workarounds to truly filter confirmation emails by channel?

what you are looking for is the Visit option in your bookable service: Send confirmation email to channel reservations

as far as I know, there is no option (yet) to customise emails or email settings per channel within Mews. 
 

do checkout the current beta that provides a hugely improved email editor though!
