We have connector installed at 33 properties & on occasion have had to restart the Connector, generally when we hear the team are unable to print. We have installed the connector on virtual machines at most properties which we schedule for regular reboots, however some properties have them on the reception PC & we encourage to reboot the machine every few days. The reboots seem to keep the connector stable.

great answer, you are right, it is recommended to install the connector on a PC at the reception, which is always running.
And once in a while do a complete restart is also a good suggestion.
