It's come to my attention that there are moments where booking.com doesn't apply a cancellation fee to reservations if for some reason they know they won't receive the payment from the guest. While this is in isolation nice as you won't need to pay commissions on these, it does bring a challenge when cancellation policies are applied in Mews anyways.
How do you find out that booking.com doesn't apply a cancelation fee?
What do you do with the cancelation fee in Mews that's automatically applied and needs to be corrected?
