as far as I know, it is not possible to add events or notes to the timeline. That would be a nice feature though.

This functionality is currently not available. I'd highly recommend sharing your idea on the feedback forum, where our product team actively reviews suggestions to guide future improvements.

Here is a workaround in the meantime:

The integration of public holiday events into the timeline in Mews can be done through the creation of calendar events.
Creating a Calendar Event in Mews:

• Go to the main menu, then navigate to Settings > Property.
• Click on Calendar events.
• Click the + button to create a new event.
• Enter the name of the event along with the Start and End date and time of the event.
• Click Create.

After creating the calendar event, it will be visible on the Timeline and the Rate management screen, as well as the Availability & occupancy report, and on your availability blocks dashboard.
