I understand that when a family of four books through through the booking engine, all the space categories are displayed, regardless of the maximum capacity of the categories.
This is expected behavior in Mews, as you can book a room multiple times (eg. 2 standard rooms for 4 people). With this logic:
- Rates Screen: On the Rates screen, the number of rooms is preselected based on your guest count.
- Summary Banner: If you manually update the room count on the Rates screen and the total accommodation capacity is no longer sufficient to fit your initial guest selection, a banner will appear saying: “Add more rooms to accommodate all your guests.”
