Digitally fill in registration card

Does anyone know if it’s possible to *mirror* the guest registration card digitally — for example, on a tablet — and let the guest fill it out at check-in?

We don’t use paper registration cards since we are **Green Key certified**.

As far as I know, the guest can only complete the registration card through:

a. **Online check-in**

b. **Kiosk check-in**

However, I’ve heard that the receptionist can also *mirror* the digital registration card during a regular check-in.

Can anyone confirm or deny whether this function is available?

@Mark Alexander Joel easy just configure the kiosk on settings in MEWS. i assume you have done that as it is installed on the screen. 

to use the employee mode. you need the pin (is found on the kiosk tab in your settings. see screen below.

To activite the employee mode, you need to open the kiosk app on the tablett and press the logo on the left corner on the screen.Just type in the pin and thats it.

we just use that version including the ID Scanner through the tablett :-)

what would be the difference if you used a tablet and did the kiosk check-in in employee mode? Wouldn’t that be the solution you’re looking for?
Or is there a reason why that’s not an option?

We haven’t used *Employee Mode* yet. We’ve installed the kiosk app on a large touchscreen that’s very noticeable to guests, so many of them choose to use the kiosk.

I was referring to doing a regular check-in to start with — but what you’re saying is that this can be done on a tablet using *Employee Mode*, right?

I suppose we’ll need to install the kiosk app on a tablet and give it a try 👍

**Question:** How do you activate *Employee Mode?

We only been using Mews for 2 months so still alot to learn and figure out. I will ask our hotelmanager to try this out on Monday for sure. We will install the kiosk on a tablet as well as the guest facing larger tablet and ask the staff to start using. We never really got the ID scan to work either but are told it is not part of the Best Western set up for some reason. Thanks so much again Johannes for shedding light! 💯🙏
