By default, all guest-facing emails are sent from [email protected]. Properties on the Enterprise plan have the option to configure a custom sender address (ie. [email protected]. You can find detailed instructions in the following help article: Send emails to guests using your property domain
At this time, only one custom email address can be configured per property, and it is not currently possible to assign different sender addresses to individual email templates.
There is an active feature request to enable sender address configuration at the email template level here: Configure sender email address for each mail template – Welcome to the Product Ideas Forum
Regarding platform and fee invoices issued by Mews to properties: the recipient email address for these communications can only be updated by our Support team. Please contact them directly if you’d like to request a change. Please note this is not an email sent to guests, but an email sent from Mews to a property containing an invoice.
@luke.date thank you for clarifying, that was maybe the issue or a misscommunication with your support colleagues. i was asking for the email address for invoices and they might thought on the plattform fee…

It sounds very strange that your client does not accept the sender address, as long as the invoice fulfills all the requirements. I’d assume that you have your own email and not the default Mews email as sender?
However, I do see the potential in being able to send different templates from different addresses.

That is good to know, as we also operate in Germany.
We do not use the word ‘booking’ in our email addresses, though.
