Hello!

Self-Checkin after midnight seems to be not possible, because the room status becomes reset to dirty at midnight even though the respective reservation has not been checked in yet. When the guest arrives after midnight check in is denied because „room not ready“.

is there a work around or setting I missed?

it would help if the time the cleaning status becomes reset could be set to a later time, like 4 am…

what are your tips and experiences?

kind regards,

Jean-Philipp.

Update: Sweeply confirmed that it’s their setup, but it can be changed so that a room remains clean/Inspected over midnight unless a check-in occurs… So if you need to have Kiosk Check-ins after midnight and are working with sweeply, you must ask them to set it up accordingly, otherwise your guest may not be able to check-in on the Kiosk after midnight.

Update: I think that the automatic cleaning state change at midnight was not triggered by mews, but by our connected housekeeping tool “Sweeply” - I am investigating this with Sweeply support at the moment and will update here as soon as I know more ...
