Good morning, y'all!I have a little problem that I'm not sure how to solve. When people are making a reservation online and they want to stay in a room set up for 2 people, but with 3 persons (by adding an extra bed), I want the booking engine to automatically add the extra bed for every night of the booking. After that, I would also like this to be turned into a task for housekeeping. Good afternoon everyone!New day, new question (sorry 😄). I was wondering if there is a quick way to change the options of products I have created in Mews. Good afternoon everyone,Since our Mews launch, we have a direct connection with Booking.com to edit prices and availability. Before Mews, we worked with Cubilis as our channel manager. A few months ago, we decided to remove some of the roomtypes from the rooms offered on Booking.com.Today, I want to reverse this, but when I check the calendar view on Booking.com, I noticed that the price is missing (see screenshot underneath). How can I fix this in Mews so that the rooms can be sold again?  

Dear Community 👋🏼Has anyone have the same issue like I currently facing?.We have recently added Stripe as new payment provider and integrated the mews S1 terminal as the payment device, which is starting next month we will completly using stipe to replace the Adyen.Taking payment directly from the terminal with card or contactless is no issue, as well online pament when we have enterd the credit card details in mews manually.However, the credit card which captured in mews from the terminal payment, can not be re-preauthorize nor re-charge. Anyone aware what the issue here?.So far what I understood correctly, that the payment using S1 Teriminal will captured and tokanized the card details, which we can reuse it.I have wrote mews to change the Stripe as our default payment, however still no response from them over 24hrs. Do you guys think, due this default check in the integration has not been done and we have this isue?. Best regardsRingga   

Liebe Community,seit fast einem Jahr arbeiten wir nun sowohl mit MEWS, als auch dem RMS Duetto. Gibt es hier jemanden, der die gleiche Problematik in Bezug auf Zu- und Abschläge von Zimmerkategorien teilt? Weder MEWS, noch Duetto unterstützt Personenzu- oder Abschläge, z.B. ein DZ/EZ, Triple oder Vierbett. Hier musste ich ein Add On auf der Homepage erstellen. We want to configure the printing options of our Mews Terminal, so it only prints the customers receipt. A couple of weeks ago our management decided it was not necesary printing the merchant’s receipt anymorte and we always get up having a copy at the end. Is there a way we can customize that? thanks in advance.

Hi, we are adding all are notes manually and we want to automate this process. It would be great if we could add notes to a rate code so we are sure all neccessary information for this guest (corporate, special perks, colleagues) is automatically added. This way Front Office knows what guests are coming and what information they need to know up front. Can this become a feature?

I am curious about why it is not possible for guests to purchase upsells after they have checked in? I know they can do it as part of the checkin process in guest portal, but why can’t they do it after?For example, a guest forgot to add parking, then they later open guest portal again, they can read about the reservation that they already know about, but they cannot do anything with it, changes, adding products etc.So the result is that they need to contact the hotel via a message.I just wonder why this is? Is it designed that way on purpose?

Hello all!  We’re on our 3rd week with Mews, still trying to figure some stuff out 😄 If anyone knows, how do I modify a room rate on a reservation that is due to check out?  Any help will be greatly appreciated! 

Is it just me or does it take ages whenever you create a new company profile and want to add a routing rule until the company profile is found? Moin zusammen,  wir versuchen derzeitig unser Secret Escapes handling zu optimieren und stoßen da an einige limitierungen seitens Mews. Mich würde interessieren, wie ihr im moment Secret Escpaes handhabt, da ja die Gäste einen Anspruch auf die Rechnung haben.  Unsere Idee ist es, auf der Gastrechnung lediglich die folgenden Produkte stehen zu lassen: Übernachtung Frühstück City TaxAlle anderen Produkte sollen an sich weitere geroutet werden auf ein PM (was nicht geht). Daher würde nun das Firmenprofil lediglich in Frage kommen.Anschließend müssen bei uns drei Zahlungen getätigt werden: 2 x Ghost Payment (Positiver Betrag und der gleiche Negativ Betrag zum Ausgleich) (1 auf dem Gastprofil und eins auf dem Firmenprofil) 1 x VCC Belastung (auf dem Firmenprofil)Der Gast erhält dann im Anschlus eine Rechnung mit dem Ghost Payment von uns. Allerdings lassen sich derzeitig keine Kartenzahlungen auf dem Firmenprofil realisieren.  Wie handhabt ihr das ganze so?  Liebe Grüße Hendrik  

Hi,ich bin grade mit dem Omniboost Support dabei, unsere Datev-Schnittstelle aufzusetzen. Lt. dem Support-Mitarbeiter müssen wir einen sogenannten Guestledger Account anlegen. Ich hab mir das Dokument dazu (https://help.omniboost.io/en/articles/6593186-understanding-the-guest-ledger-account) angesehen aber weder ich noch meine Steuerberaterin werden daraus schlau, was genau zu tun ist. Ich denke, in Deutschland gibt es dieses Konzept bisher nicht. Wir haben lediglich Konten für 19, 7 und 0% USt.Vielleicht könnt ihr mir das ein wenig erklären bzw. kurz darlegen, wie ihr das gemacht habt. Vielen Dank und viele Grüße,Dennis

Hey Everyone,I’m experiencing an issue with the Mews application when assigning spaces. When I try to assign rooms, I’m unable to add a space and press Enter. When I press Enter, it deletes the recently added space and overwrites the previous space.To add multiple spaces, I now have to use the mouse and select them manually. Previously, I could add a space, press Enter, and then add the next space with another Enter. This functionality no longer works.Can you please help me restore this feature?Thank you!

Dieses Tool hier ist wirklich Klasse, auch wenn ich mich freuen würde, wenn es demnächst einen direkten Austausch mmit dem Support-Team geben würde (soll ja kommen - aber wann?).jetzt meine Frage: Wie macht Ihr das mit den Gastrechnungen, die am Ende eines Aufenthaltes nicht bezahlt wurden (z.B. bei einer Stornorechnung)? Ja, man kann dem Gast eine Zahlungsaufforderung senden aber diese wird, gerade bei noshow, gerne mal ignoriert.Ich kann die Rechnung aber nicht schließen, solange der Posten offen ist und würde ihn gerne als Debitor auschecken.Bisher sehe ich als einzige Möglichkeit, den Gast nochmal als Firma anzulegen, dann die Fakturierung zu aktivieren um so die Rechnung  zu schließen aber vielleicht gibt es noch eine elegantere Lösung? 

Gibt es die Möglichkeit, dass ich einigen Firmen ein eigenes Buchhaltungskonto (Debitor) zuweisen kann, damit eine meine Buchhaltung etwas einfacher hat?

Servus zusammen,mir ist gerade aufgefallen, dass das Zahlungsziel (z.B. 7 Tage nach erhalt) auf unseren Debitoren Rechnungen nicht angezeigt wird. Ist das bei Euch auch so? Bzw. wie handhabt ihr das?Zur Info: das “Verfolgen von Forderungen” haben wir in MEWS deaktiviert, wir machen das manuell extern. Liebe Grüße, Emmi

One of my client properties that uses Mews, also utilises Zenchef as the booking software for their F&B services.The client would like to know if the Mews / Zenchef integration also allows for payment / credit card guarantees of reservations, using the Stipe account associated with the Mews subscription. From what I can read in the integration documentation, this is not the case, but if a community member has a solution, I would be extremely grateful for advice.

B. „Herr“ oder „Frau“), aber es gibt keine direkte Möglichkeit, die grammatikalisch korrekte Anrede („Sehr geehrter Herr“ vs. „Sehr geehrte Frau“) dynamisch anzupassen. Bisher funktioniert nur eine geschlechtsneutrale Variante („Sehr geehrte/r {titlePrefix} {name}“), was nicht ideal ist.Hat jemand einen Workaround oder eine kreative Lösung, um dies korrekt umzusetzen?

Certain things are not possible in the demo environment without invoicing the rooms each time. So, this should be fairly straightforward however does not seem to be playing ball with me and its now becoming quite annoying. What I need to set is a 2-night minimum length of stay for a Saturday, that effectively ‘lifts’ on Thursday to allow one night stays. It is currently set as this:which according to help articles etc says that this will apply a minimum 2 night restriction if the guest is booking more than 3 days in advance, but not apply restriction if less than 3 days in advance? Am I misunderstanding? as all that happens with this is it stops anyone booking any stay that is includes a Saturday no matter how long in advance they book and closes channel managers for Saturdays entirely. If i switch this round and do Minimum 3 days advance then it works as MLOS for Saturdays on channel managers but then doesnt allow saturdays to book one night on the day?
