Hallo zusammen,ich hoffe, wir sind nicht allein mit diesem Thema.Wie macht ihr das, wenn ihr für einen Gast verschiedene Ratencodes habt? Z.B. 3 Tage gilt ein Arrangement, danach folgt eine Verlängerung zur best available rate.Oder ihr habt einen Business Gast, der 2 Nächte privat verlängert.Aktuell ist die Aussage, dass die Reservierung geteilt werden muss, da in einer Reservierung nicht mehrere Ratencodes eingetragen werden können. Das birgt aber doch viel Fehlerpotenzial, da dran gedacht werden muss, die Karte richtig zu codieren, das Zimmer nicht zu tauschen etc.Für Revenue benötigt es die verschiedenen Raten für eine gutes Tracking.Habt ihr da evtl bessere Lösungen?Danke & LGVanessa

Hi 😄I have created vouchers for our corporate guest.Some of these vouchers have 3 different rates attached and they are all showing when you make a reservation in mews. But when adding the voucher in the booking engine only 1 of the rates will show.Is it possible ?

Hi :)When we assign spaces to Housekeeping, we can only see the e-mail and not the name of the housekeeper. When assigning on the app it shows name and e-mail.Is iot possible to also see the name on the pc ?  

Is anyone utilising a provider who can provide dashboard reporting that is easily accessible on mobile.We’re looking at Power BI however it appears we’ve a significant amount of work ahead to create a fairly simple solution using the API connecting to MEWS/Bizzon.ThanksD

Hello, I was wondering if anyone had any advice on the below :)  Is there a way to prevent products being added to a bill, for example if the customer declines a preauthorization on their card as we would not want any extra products posted on their bill.it wouldn’t necessarily be posting products onto Mews (when on Mews) it might be another department posting from the EPOS system into Mews i.e. from the Restaurant, the guest wants to charge their bill to their reservation instead of paying directly at the Restaurant.At former properties (using a different system), when we have tried to charge to the PMS from EPOS, we would be notified if the guest had credit. If there was a ‘stop charge’ on their reservation, this would mean that the guest didn’t have credit and we wouldn’t be able to charge to the reservation. Thank you!

Over the weekend, we experienced an overbooking of additional beds. Despite using Mews for 3 years, they still haven't developed inventory management for additional beds for children, which should be a basic feature of a PMS. It should automatically close categories when all additional beds are booked. Does anyone have any ideas or solutions to offer, besides telling me to go vote?

Hi,  We are offering a deal for a limited time, the deal is each person that books 6 nights get 1 night free. I am trying to figure out how to make this possible in MEWS. Someone books 6 nights and then they receive a voucher for 1 night free. Otherwise you’re going to get people that book 3 nights that can also get 1 night free. Can someone help me with this?  I am stuck...

Hi Community! In Mews, it is not possible to distinguish between deductable and non-deductable VAT on bills/invoices. We are a Dutch company. Our previous PMS provided 5 VAT categories: 0%, 9% deductable, 9% non-deductable, 21% deductable, and 21% non-deductable. This distinction was clearly visible on our invoices for our guests. I am looking for best practices; how do you provide this distinction to guests/customers upon request? Any tips or tools?Looking forward to receiving your best practices! 😁Regards, Sanne

Wie macht ihr dies, wenn ihr einmalige Produkte habt und wie macht ihr das, wenn eine kompletter Preis zurückgespielt wird. Mews offers a digital check-in solution, but it's inadequate for high-end hotels where we have specific procedures to follow, often mandated by our brand standards. We're seeing the limitations of Mews, which isn't tailored to the needs of 4 and 5-star hotels. During a tablet rooming process, we don't have access to guest notes to inform them about spa or restaurant reservations. The worst part is that we can't manually enter credit card details; they require us to purchase their payment machines, which is outrageous. Should I go vote for this too?Not to mention the checkout process, which is impossible to complete in employee mode on the kiosk. Lots of promising ideas, but they're never fully developed. It's frustrating.

Moin in die Runde, bisher nutzen wir MEWS nur als PMS und die Buchungsmaschine noch von HNS würde gerne aber alles über MEWS laufen lassen. Wer hat hier Erfahrungen wie es mit Buchungslücken aussieht. wenn man einen MLOS eingestellt hat z.B. von 5 Nächten aber eine Lücke von 3 Nächten hat ist diese ja dann nicht buchbar. oder Gibt es hierfür eine Einstellung, hat da Jemand Erfahrung? Bei HNS gibt es einen AMO der den MLOS dann automatisch aufhebt und überschreibt. Beste Grüße Simon

I'm looking around for the best solution for the ID scanner. According to the statement for our setup manager, all data relevant for the country should be transferred with the Mews scanner. Now I have made some tests and e.g. no address is transferred for the German ID.Are there any recommendations for external scanners?Thanks for your input.

Hallo liebe Community, Gibt es mittlerweile die Möglichkeit, automatische Deposits/ automatische settlement rules mit verschiedenen Mehrwertsteuersätzen anzulegen?Also einmal für Logis und einmal für Produkte beispielsweise?Bei uns wird gerade automatisch nur ein Deposit für die gesamte Buchung inkl. aller Produkte erstellt, alles mit demselben Steuersatz. Das ist ja steuerrechtlich nicht korrekt. Haben wir da eine Einstellung nicht gefunden? Liebe Grüße

Hello Mews Community,At our hotel it's required that each room has a unique and distinct accounting account from other rooms. Upon reviewing MEWS, I noticed that it assigns accounting categories based on space categories. However, what we need is for each space to have its own accounting category rather than being grouped by category.Have any of you encountered a similar issue before? If so, how did you resolve it? How can I download the deposit report for future reservations?I would like to check all the bank transfers I have entered in each booking of July and August 2024

Hi community!  I’m not sure if this feature exists, but I’m looking to set up a delivery only rate plan for direct connect channels in MEWS. I haven’t had many issues, but when there’s a mapping issue or promotion that MEWS does not recognize on direct connect channels, reservations have come in really strange due to product rules.I have something similar created for my channel manager, the rate plan is called FIX ME and is a catch all for any reservations with room or rate code errors. This allows me and my front desk team to immediately recognize there’s something amiss with the reservation and attend to it. Anyone know how to set this up or if the feature exists?Looking forward to your advice!
