Hi @MarketaOupi, where can i influence the template? as there is really a necesity for either a smaller font or a less ‘white’ space on the invoices. terrible waste of paper when having just one or two nights with breakfast - and a second page it added just for the footer text?
Hi @MarketaOupi
First of all, thank you for this upgrade. The new billing templates are definitely a lot more professional.
However, we still have the following comment, about which customers have already complained. In the new format, payments and the VAT schedule are listed at the top. This goes against any logical thinking, as you normally always have the consumptions first, then the VAT and then all payments with any remaining balance.
And as @mauritsbots mentioned, there is some room of improvement regarding the font / lay-out.
Hello @mauritsbots & @MatthiasH,
Thank you for your feedback and reacting super fast!
I already passed your feedback to the product team, so they can take this forward
Have a great day!

Hello @wahiba, @MatthiasH and @mauritsbots,
thank you again for reaching out!
We have established a dedicated feedback group, and our product managers should have already reached out to you to discuss your points in detail. We are committed to making improvements based on your feedback and ensuring that you have a positive experience with our products.
Once again, thank you for being an integral part of our community.
Best regards,
Hello
I would be more than happy if we can have an update on the below.
Did you take my feedback forward?
Can we discuss these points in detail?
Best regards,
Hello @wahiba,
I checked it with our team and first improvements will be released in next sprint - sprints are two weeks long, so in two or three weeks
They will focus on the layout of the header to avoid short invoices being spilled over two pages.
Have a great weekend!
Thank you Marketa
We are deploying MEWS in 5 star hotels and we find that aesthetically the bills can be improved
Is it possible to take this feeback forward?
Hi team, How can we change the default layout?
We have a big problem now in Germany where we have the fiscal printer, with only 1 item on the bill this is now 2 pages long, when it used to be 1 page. Such a waste of paper and additional printing costs to us now.
Thanks for any advice on how to get the bill automatically on 1 page.
Sam.
Hi @wahiba and @Sam,
I talked to our team, they are now working on implementing the feedback they got in the first phase.
The changes will be live in August and if there are still comments from your side after that, I suggesting starting a new thread after that, so your comments don´t get lost in the “first wave”.
Does that work for you? I am sure there will be feedback gathering after the changes are implemented, so there will be an opportunity to be heard
Hi @MarketaOupi,
Is this live on Demo already? How can we see the different templates?
Hi @Mick!
It is not live yet, still work in progress.
What do you mean exactly by templates please?
Thank you!

As i uderstand & what was shared via our CS was there would be 3 different variations, which we can choose from. Is that not the case?
Hi @Mick !
so I got the answer for you, the templates are the formats, in which you can print out the invoice and there is 4 of them:
This will help especially very long invoices (like a big conference billed to one invoice) to make them much shorter.
With a “standard” reservation, the difference won´t be that visible.
I hope I answered your question
Hi Marketa,
Will the issue with the invoice being 2 pages for only 1 item be solved? Or will we then be able to set which default layout we have?
Seems silly we have an increase in printing costs because Mews decided to change the bill layout, but in locations with a fiscal printer and legal requirement to print each receipt this is a big increase.
Thanks, Sam.

Thank you @MarketaOupi, i just came across this myself & came back but you'd beaten me to it! Thanks again!
Good morning lovely people. Today there was another update on the bill layout. The issue being reported by Sam with the two pages is fixed now, but when the bill is printed. All is so small, nobody can read it. The preview of the bill looks ok, but the printout itself is extremely small.
@MarketaOupi I will send a copy of a printed invoice to the support. After waiting so long now, we must realize the fix did not really satisfy. Was this not popping up during testing?

Hi Claudia,
Not sure which issue you would have, but for us both the printed and online version look perfectly fine. However, I think there is still a lot that can change. Especially with the header being spaced almost 4 cm from the edge. @martin.kucera is this something which you can still look into?
Hi @ClaudiaM.,
thank you for letting us know!
I located your support ticket with the images and raised this internally.
I can see few more German properties raised it too, so it looks like a local problem, which also explains why @MatthiasH does not see this.
Thank you!
Hello
Is the new template live NOW,
Hello Marketa,
The below are not available when printing bills in hotels belonging to centaurus GROUP
This is very disappointed
Can you fix this issue please in below hotels
Hello @wahiba!
I am looking into it, let me get back to you!
@Mick do you see these templates in your properties?
Hello @wahiba,
I am sending you a help article, that explains the templates, the names in the screenshot I sent to @Mickbefore were old, the names are slightly different now.
Unfortunately the Consumption overview template is not available in France. That is due to compliance reasons - this layout is not compliant with French regulation and therefore not available to French properties.
Other countries:
I hope that helps!
