Hi  everyone!

We are currently finalising the development of a new improvement we are working on, which is Reverting Cancellations. We would highly value your opinion on this new functionality, and so I would like to ask you if you would be willing to help us by providing us with your honest feedback.

 

Please note that this feature is not YET ready to be tested for French and Guadeloupe properties. 

 

The reverting cancellations improvement will enable you to change the status of a cancelled reservation back to the confirmed status, which will mean that it will no longer be needed to manually create the reservation again if for example the reservation was accidentally cancelled. first glance is amazing, but i'd like a check box where i can instantly rebate or reverse the cancellation charges if any were applied?

Looks really good, Our teams are going to love this! 

 

I agree with @mauritsbots if a cancellation charge was applied, it would be good to be able to revert this during the process. You also note settlements are not recreated, is there a plan to do this in the future?

 

What is the timeline on releasing to production?

Great news, it is already the case that the cancellation charges/fees are automatically cancelled when reverting a cancelled reservation back to the confirmed state 😀

Indeed, concerning the settlement rules, we have not yet been able to as well copy these over when the reservation has been reverted. However, this is something we are looking into for future updates to make the process as smooth as possible and to limit mistakes for example. 

Unfortunately, I cannot yet give a precise date, but we are close to releasing the feature and we will keep you updated on the progress!

really great feature, but for us it would be helpful that if an option booking gets cancelled (i.e. deadline missed) it goes back as optional and not as a confirmed booking.

or, it would be helpful if you can change a confirmed booking to an optional booking
